I had a bunch of paperwork to do last night and was only able to watch Glee and The Americans in between the Knicks/Thunder game.

I gotta be honest, Glee's 500th song/tribute to the movies episode stunk. Who was in charge of picking the songs? Whoever it was really missed the mark in my opinion. With all of the great songs from movies, these are the ones they chose? Do they know who their audience is?  I'd always heard of Fred Astaire's dancing on the ceiling, but I had no idea what movie it was from and had to Google that one. (Royal Wedding for anyone who cares).  "Shout" from Animal House...okay. Moulin Rouge? I guess.  The Tom Cruise tribute wasn't that bad, "Danger Zone/Old Time Rock-N-Roll" had half the guys in flight suits and the other half in white button downs and  tidy whitey's... okay that one was decent.  Hated the entire "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend/Material Girl" mashup and really hated the attempt at "Unchained Melody" in the ceramics room that nobody's EVER entered before.  The only good part was when Mr. Shu tracked down Emma and pulled a Lloyd Dobler,  with an old boom box and used the "In Your Eyes"/Say Anything bit to win her back. Other than the songs, Rachel's still preggers, Blaine's still pining for Kurt, Mr Shu and Emma are starting all over again, Marlie told Jake about the kiss, and Finn followed suit. Santana found Brody's pager and his wad of cash and came to the conclusion that he's a drug dealer.  All of this didn't thrill me at all and then when my son asked me what a pager was, I was done.  Last week it was "who is Prince?" tonight..."what's a pager?" shoot me.

The Americans was really good this week. Still not so much 80's stuff, but the spy stuff was pretty intense. There's a mole on the Russian side, which we knew about , but everyone became a suspect. Right off the bat Phillip got kidnapped and I thought the jig was up.  They knew everything about him, took off his glasses and his horrible, cheap wig and beat the crap out of him. (but he had no bruises or cuts to the face which was weird)  He gave up nothing. Then they brought in Felicity and still nothing. Just as I thought their FBI/Neighbor guy was going to walk in, it turned out to be their own people testing them.  Well that didn't sit well with Felicity she beat the crap out of the old lady (mainly her face so maybe the makeup budget was used up on her???) and they got the F outta there.  In the mean time their kids were left stranded at the mall and attempted to hitch hike home (which was more of a 60's/70's thing than an 80's thing, but I digress) and of course the guy they chose to go with was a freak.  I guess they don't have their parents spy like instincts.  The FBI guy, via his mole, set up the Russian guy and he was put on a plane and sent back to Siberia or wherever they send traitors.  I'm still in on this one.  It's not all there but I'm still in.  I want Felicity to stick around. I've missed her.

NEWS & INFORMATION:

-After 16 years, Joy Behar is leaving The View.  16 years sitting around with those yenta's, is an incredible accomplishment. I can't believe she lasted that long. Joy and Barbara are the only two original members still on the show.  I hope she's planning on a tell all book and comes back on the show to discuss it.  I bet that would be interesting.

-In case you hadn't heard, there are a bunch of changes to the Facebook newsfeed coming our way soon.  I have always hated most of the Facebook changes when they first hit and then I just get used to them and forget what the old Facebook was like.  None of the changes have hit my page yet, but if you want to learn about them, this link will tell you everything you need to know.  https://www.facebook.com/about/newsfeed

Friday's Trivia Question: Everyone seems to be enjoying the couples quiz...here's 3 more: Bo & Luke, Bo & Hope, Hope & Michael.  Name the shows.

Have a great weekend!

Early Morning Ratings for the week of 2/11/13-2/15/13
GMA 1.7/2.0
Today Show 1.7/2.0
CBS This Morning 1.0/1.1
  • Quick recap of our E! hosts: Kelly still has lavender hair, black dress stunning, Ross SO annoying and Ryan's hair getting higher with every award show. Hated Giuliana's black gown but from the neck up, not bad.
  • Jessica Chastain looked beautiful in her flesh colored Armani Prive beaded gown and SO cute and charming with Ryan
  • Apparently Quevenzhane Wallis is known as Little Q these days.  She was once again sporting her puppy purse and a sister who was sporting some CRAZY cleavage
  • Amy Adams in her grey Oscar De La Renta dress looked like it was Monday morning and she was on the Hollywood walk of shame
  • I had to Google Samantha Barks to know who chick with the mega front and side boobage was.  (She was Eponine in Les Mis)
  • First sighting of Channing Tatum with his wife Jenna Dewan and her belly.  The big belly didn't stop her from wearing a pretty sexy low cut bare back dress.
  • I hated Zoe Saldana's dress. Too much going on with belt, bow, and all the stuff on top
  • Note to Kerry Washington if you have to keep pulling up the Miu Miu dress...maybe it's not a good Miu Miu choice
  • Reese Witherspoon looked very pretty from the neck up, hated the Louis Vuitton dress. I think she unintentionally gave Giuliana a slight kick when Giuliana asked Reese the secret of her voluminous hair, she said that it was the result of just having a baby, which as we all know, Giuliana couldn't do on her own...OY I felt bad for Giuliana for a second
  • Jennifer Lawrence's Dior Haute couture dress was a bit of a letdown. I think that the back necklace could be hazardous on the red carpet and after party, it could easily get caught on someone or something.  I bet someone got in trouble for screwing up the mani cam.  Jennifer apparently bet Emma Stone that she would put her face into it and say  "your ass is mine Stone" BUT apparently the cam wasn't plugged in and they didn't get the shot.
  • Amanda Seyfried looked stunning in her Alexander Mcqueen dress, but the top didn't fit right
  • I had no idea that Jackie Weaver from Silver Linings playbook was British.
  • How in the world did Melissa McCarthy's people let her out looking like she did. HORRIBLE!  what was with that hair? No way that all the stylists, the husband, friends etc. could say YEAH THAT LOOKS GOOD and let her leave the house
  • Sally Field's dress made her look like she had a 3rd boob or something
  • Dustin Hoffman went to his first Oscars in 1967 before Seacrest was "out"...sweet moment when Joseph Gordon Levitt got to meet him right on the Red Carpet
  • Helen Hunt's forehead looked larger than ever.  She was wearing an H&M dress!  Who knew? I guess The Sessions didn't pay THAT well and maybe she spent all of the Mad About You money already?
  • My favorite nut job, Anne Hathaway was looking good, but was showing some serious side boobage accompanied by mega headlights in her Prada dress.
  • Charlize Theron looked gorgeous in her white gown and short hairdo.
  • Jane Fonda is 75 years old and while she wore a hideous yellow dress, it didn't matter, she looked INSANELY amazing
  • Jennifer Anniston looked beautiful in her corally/red Valentino gown with her natural looking hair, but what was with all the flyaways?
  • Naomi Watts's looked like she was about to invade Mars in that Armani Prive gown.
  • DIdn't love Nicole Kidman's look at all.  Her hair looked undone and I don't think black is her color.
At 8pm, I switched over to ABC's Red Carpet show.  TRAIN WRECK ALERT: Kristin Chenoweth was horrible and awkward which made the show a must see just for the doosh chills she brought to the table.
  • Jennifer Garner's dress was a beautiful Bordeaux color with a frilly poofy back that I would have to think would be uncomfortable and would get smushed when she sat on it all night
  • Halle Berry looked gorgeous in her Versace
  • SO SO SO good to see Robin Roberts on the Red Carpet
  • Adele looked like she could eat Kristin Chenoweth...it was so weird to see them next to each other
  • Also weird...George Clooney with that beard...making him look like Stacy Kiebler's grandpa
  • Daniel Day Lewis. Borefest.
  • I guess Kristen Stewart's accident is her current excuse for looking like a greasy mess.
  • Another mess, Renee Zellwegger, looked exceptionally unkempt, puckery and over botoxed
  • Queen Latifah is another one who could eat Chenoweth for breakfast.

  • Way cool set to celebrate music in the movies
  • Yeah Seth McFarlane for his dig at the Academy for not nominating Ben Affleck
  • I got nervous when Captain Kirk appeared...but it worked!
  • Loved The Gay Men's Choir singing "We Saw Your Boobs" As you know I'm a fan of that topic
  • Channing and Charlize delightful
  • Sock puppet reenactment of Flight...hilarious
  • Seth as Sister Bertrile from the Flying Nun was really really funny, loved the converse sneakers peaking out
  • I give the Seth opening a B+ overall.
  • Best Supporting Actor: Christof Waltz (Got it right in my Oscar Pool)
  • Melissa McCarthy was super shiny and sweaty when she came out with Paul Rudd
  • Best Animated Short: Paperman (2 for 2 for me!-I saw this one...very cute)
  • Best Animated Feature Film: Brave (3 for 3...killing it so far!)
  • Man with a kilt alert! Man with a kilt alert.  Would have been good if the man with the kilt had a Scottish accent.  Woman with the man with kilts daughter is going to be mortified when she sees the big lipstick mark on her face at home on her Tivo
  • If you were watching the Oscars on the App...you would have seen George Clooney really did drink the shot that Seth threw him from the stage
  • Best Cinematography-Life of Pi (4 for 4...just sayin!!!) Dumbledore wins!
  • Best Visual Effects-Life of Pi (5 for 5) Jaws music was funny and super cruel all at the same time
  • Jennifer Anniston had a ton of fly aways...She's gonna be pissed at whoever did her hair
  • Best Costume Design-Anna Karenina (6 for 6...OMG I can't believe I got that one!) The winner for costume designs' outfit was horrible...I would say that's ironic
  • Best Makeup and Hair-Les Miserables (wasn't a category in the pools I was in) the winner was wearing pink leggings and had a bees nest on her head and I'm pretty sure wore no makeup at all...you know what they say...the plumber has leaky pipes blah blah blah
  • To celebrate the 50 Years of Bond, Halle Berry, the newest Bond girl, introduced the clips and then Shirley Bassey sang Goldfinger! I honestly thought she was dead...she sang pretty well for a dead chick.
  • Best Live Action Short  - Curfew (didn't see it and wasn't in my pool)
  • Best Documentary Short - Inocente (didn't see this one either...not in the pool)
  • Liam Neeson looked like he did a bong hit before taking the stage to present.
  • Best Documentary Feature- Searching for Sugar Man- (saw it and loved it... 7 for 7)
  • Best Foreign Film- Amour (8 for 8 saw it...most depressing movie I've ever seen...no really)
  • John Travolta is 59 years old...he looks it, you'd think if he can have afford to have a plane in his backyard he could also afford a good surgeon to do his face but you can see where his priorities are
  • Pretty sure Catherine Zeta Jones lip sank, Jennifer Hudson didn't and killed it, and you thought she couldn't be topped and then...Les Miz...chills,  with the exception of Russell Crowe.  They probably should have cut his mike off.
  • Mark Wahlberg and Ted...Okay am I an idiot? How did they do that?
  • Best Sound Mixing- Les Miserable (not part of the pool)
  • Best Sound Editing- a tie WTF ??? Zero Dark Thirty & Skyfall don't you think a tie is bullsh*t?
  • Captain Von Trapp's 83 years old!!!
  • Best Supporting Actress-Anne Hathaway (9 for 9...I am SO not lying!!!)
  • I didn't know what could be worse than Anne Hathaway until I found out...Anne Hathaway with dry mouth in dire need of some Fiji water (I'm thinking they don't serve Poland Springs at the Oscars) She is just THE worst.  I can't stand her.
  • Sandra Bullocks arms are ripped from carrying baby Louis all over town, she looked good.
  • Best Editing-Argo (not in my pool, but I said it out loud and was right so I'm sort of still on a major role tonight)
  • OYYYYY KRISTEN STEWART makes me cringe every time I see her, hear her, think of her, read about her...ugh cannot deal at all with  her.  Buy a hairbrush Kristen! Get some blotter papers!  I know she was in more pain than normal because of her "accident" but seriously...stay home an pop a pill.
  • Best Production Design-Lincoln (not in any pool, didn't say it out loud, so no harm no foul)
  • Salma Hayek also had a ton of flyaways...what's up with these hairdressers?
  • Checked Facebook and Email during Governors Award...sorry needed to stay caught up
  • That's the way to cheer us up during the memoriam segment...bring out Streisand.  She couldn't hit the high ones, but still not bad for 70!
  • Once I see Richard Gere I don't see anyone else...I love that guy...first R rated movie I ever saw was American Gigolo
  • Best Original Score- Life of Pi and I swear I'm not lying... 10 for 10!!! Even I am impressing myself right now!
  • Best Original Song- Skyfall...okay this is getting crazy...11 for 11
  • Best Adapted Screenplay-Argo...12 for 12!!! Who cares who wins anymore...I'm going for a perfect score!
  • Best Original Screenplay-QUENTIN!  My fave!  Great speech, but it should be...he's the best. Of course since he's my fave, that's lucky number 13 for me!
  • Best Director- Ang Lee for the worst movie ever...so my streak is broken...I chose Spielberg, huge upset in Hollywood and in Tenafly NJ
  • Meryl Streep, who I love, looked like she just got out of bed, threw on whatever, grabbed a pair of earrings and went to the show...who cares...she's freaking Meryl Streep
  • Best Actress-Jennifer Lawrence fell on that enormous dress on her way up to get her award.  I thought it would be the necklace that got her in trouble not the dress. I felt SO bad for her (Got that one right though14 out of 15) Here's her fall in case you missed it: http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/2013-oscars/jennifer-lawrence-golden-moment-becomes-oscar-oops-052545895.html
  • Best Actor-Daniel Day Louis of course 15 out of 16, but enough about me for a minute...DDL is the first actor to win 3 Oscars
  • Jack and Michelle Obama...not one comment from me...not one.
  • Best Picture- Argo of course! 16 out of 17 is my final score
  • Yeah Ben Affleck...great speech, I admit I got a bit choked up. http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/2013-oscars/ben-affleck-reborn-oscar-gigli-oscar-063738507.html
  • Kristen Chenoweth and Seth played us out with "Here's to the Losers" I thought Seth did a great job overall.

IFC ran the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday night and it was a lot of fun to watch.  I may have to add it to my full coverage repertoire next year.  The show runs at 10pm mainly because it's filled with profanity and off color commentary, just what an award show celebrating Independent film should be.  Andy Samberg hosted and did a great job.  Silver Linings Playbook won most of the awards, but I was happy to see Helen Hunt and John Hawkes from The Sessions take home some statues too since they both turned in amazing performances.  Most of you didn't watch the show so it doesn't pay for me to really give you much detail, but I will give you the top 3 "things" that I obsessed over while watching the show...1) Matthew McConahay's embarrassing pit stains,  2) Rashida Jones's super geeky glasses, and  3) Jennifer Lawrence's awesome dress. (See the photo to the left.)

I'm sure he would kill me for telling you all, but my son LOVES Joan and Melissa, Joan Knows Best.  We both do, but I'm guessing it would fall under the "don't tell anyone" category  for him, but since he doesn't read this blog, I feel the need to share and know he won't find out that I did.  We were really looking forward to the premiere all week and LOVE that it's now on Saturdays. (Thanks WE) During the premiere, I gotta say, I was a little surprised.  Basically, Joan met a woman named Shirl at a dinner party.  Shirl is a lesbian and she and Joan started spending time together.  I totally thought Shirl was into Joan in a gay way right from the beginning.  I think Joan did too because out of the blue Joan kissed Shirl on the lips while waiting for her car at the valet.  It was all Joan.  Shirl and I were shocked!  I mean it was a long, right smack on the lips, kiss.  At first I thought that Joan did it all for the cameras but I'm not so sure.  She was really upset the next day and genuinely seemed embarrassed, but when she went to let Shirl down easy, she was even more embarrassed.  Shirl told Joan she wasn't her type and wouldn't be with her (in that way) if she was the last woman on earth.  I felt bad for Joan, but it only lasted a minute.

Monday's Trivia Question: Jennifer Lawrence was nominated for Best Actress before.  Name the movie she was nominated for. She didn't win...name the actress who did.  One point each.  This is the last of Oscar themed questions.  I promise.

I hope I'm not ruining The Vampire Diaries for anyone, but I just can't keep it all in...Is Jeremy really dead?  WTF? He better not be gone.  He trained and trained and got all ripped and became a kick ass vampire hunter only to DIE?  This better not be true Julie Plec.  In addition to this horrific news, Caroline & Tyler had to say goodbye yet again. Sure it was to save Tyler's life but can't anyone be happy on this show?  Oh and did I mention that we finally found out that there is a cure for vampirism, but... and this is a HUGE but...there's only one dose of it.  So who's going to get it?  Damon, Klaus and Caroline don't want it, but Stefan, Rebekah, Shane and Elena do and apparently, so does Katherine, cause she's back and she wants that cure too...or does she?  I'm guessing that since we already know the CW has renewed Vampire Diaries for another season, chances are none of our favorites get their paws on the cure.  Great episode!

Glee was extra juicy last night.  Emma was such a mess after kissing Finn last week that her OCD was in overdrive.  Mr. Schuster was back and ready for his Valentines Day wedding, but Emma left him at the alter instead of saying I do.  Of course they had the reception anyway and that's where Kurt and Blaine sang "I Just Can't Get Enough" which was my favorite song of the night.  Lots of crazy hook ups went down at the non-nuptials and luckily a lot of hotel rooms were available for everyone to get their groove on.  Kurt & Blaine, Quinn (who looked like she put on the Freshman 15 at Yale) & Santana (because everyone on Glee seems to go both ways), Betty the mean wheelchair chick and Artie, and Rachel & Finn.  Rachel left Finn and Lima pretty quickly and got home to Brody, but when they both lie about what they were up to while Rachel was away, we get the feeling that Brody's a guy hooker...what's the word for that?  I honestly don't know.  So Rachel cheated on Brody with Finn, but Brody cheated on Rachel with paying customers?  Love that honesty.  O...M...G...and if all that wasn't insane enough...Rachel Berry appears to be preggers!!! Yep, preggers!!!  Jake was planning on finally going all the way with Marli in the hotel the night of the wedding, but just as I expected...that didn't happen.  Marli's definitely not ready yet. Buzzkill for Jake.

Just as Leslie and Ben are planning a Park Fundraiser  on Parks and Recreation, Councilman Jam who has some crazy Barry Gibb hair, staged the Pawnee Emergency Preparedness Drill where Leslie and Ann were stuck handling a fake Avian Flu epidemic while Ben and the crew were out setting everything up for the event.  Everything goes off perfectly and in a cliffhanger "To Be Continued" ending, Leslie and Ben decide to get married at the event...next week...I hate To Be Continued's. I have to get a copy of the video so I can show you guys the best part of the show.  Ron Swanson on "Pawnee Today".   Host, Joan Calamezzo was hungover and Ron ended up filling in for her. It was hilarious.  Last comment...How hot did Rob Lowe look in his tux?  He cleans up nice.

NEWS & INFORMATION:

-This coming Sunday, Maggie Smith, the Dowager Countess on Downton Abbey will be on 60 Minutes, but it's already out that she admitted to never having seen the show...Hey Maggie...you really need to watch it.  I'm sure someone you know can give you all the episodes or you can watch them on your Ipad.

-Jonathan Taylor Thomas, who played Tim Allen's son Randy on Home Improvement, will be making a guest appearance on Tim's newest show, Last Man Standing.  The storyline does allow for Jonathan to stay on if things go well.  We shall see what happens.

-For any Curb Your Enthusiasm fans out there or for those of you that want to be, TV Land is running a marathon all weekend...your chance to catch up on Larry David and his insanity.  It's worth it!

Friday's Trivia Question: Name all 3 of Ray and Debra Barone's kids.

Next week's Trivia theme...OSCARS!!!!!!!

Have a great weekend!

I have no idea what happened last night, but I again fell asleep around 9pm and missed a ton of TV.

Rebecca's back from the never dead on The Vampire Diaries and she's pissed off, as anyone in her position would be.  But her need for revenge was actually good for everyone. For sport, she compelled Stefan, Elena and Caroline and got Elena to reveal right to his face that she's no longer in love with him, and that she loves Damon. Of course, this crushed Stefan. Elena felt bad after the words came out, but not bad enough to not call Damon and tell him the truth.  The look on his face when he heard Elena tell him she loved him was what all Vampire Diaries fans have been waiting for and when he responded with "Get in your car and come to me" I had chills. Yes, I know I'm a loser, but I'm betting that anyone else who watches, knows exactly what I'm talking about.  Okay on a few other notes, the writers brought Bonnie's Dad out of the woodwork. Traveling pharma rep?  That's a good one. Well he gave up what I'm thinking is a pretty high paying job to become the new mayor of Mystic Falls for what I'm betting is a pretty low paying job. He knows the town is made up of wolves, vampires and witches and he knows all about his daughters powers. Jeremy's now the one working out and wearing limited clothes and seems to have dyed his hair jet black which I'm not loving. Klaus and Damon have teamed up to expedite Jeremy's training and the killing of vampires but with everyone after the hunters mark, the term "race for the cure" has taken on a whole new meaning on this show.  Everyone wants it, now it's all about who gets it first and what they do with it.  Stefan and Rebecca formed an alliance to go after it against all the others.  If all that wasn't enough, we now have this new guy we keep hearing about...Silas.  All I know is, he better be cute and shirtless when they dig this guy out.

I was only able to watch the first 45 minutes of the Lance Armstrong interview this morning.  I gotta say, that I just don't care about him, the world of cycling, etc. He's a liar and a cheat and after the first few minutes, I was more obsessed with Oprah's back fat and earrings than Lance. I don't even know what she could talk to him about for 2 1/2 hours.  He's a messed up guy, okay, over.  Done.  I am curious if you guys watched, if you cared, and if you too noticed Oprah's crazy back fat.

NEWS & INFORMATION:

There's really not much news to report today...

-Heather Locklear is joining the show Franklin & Bash for it's third season.  I love the description I read of her character, Rachel King. A stunning trial lawyer with stiletto heals and clothes tailored within an inch of their life. Heather's always been the hot babe that rescues shows, but remember people, she's been pretty whacky and unstable lately and while she's still pretty, she's also 51 years old now.  I'm hoping she's still got it. I love her and know she's had a rough go of it these past few years.  Maybe this is just what she needs.

I'm really not a big college football fan, but I did switch over to watch the BCS Championship game last night and when I tuned in, it was 35-0 Alabama, so much for the Fighting Irish.  Congrats to Alabama.

First thing I watched last night was Oprah's interview with David Letterman. It was held at Ball State University (yes, of course that made me laugh). Ball State is Dave's Alma Mater and is currently the home of the David Letterman Communications and Media Center.  Honestly, it's a pretty impressive building. Also impressive...Dave.  He was funny, honest, and very interesting. I thought Oprah did a great job with the interview.  Dave didn't really back away from any questions Oprah threw at him.  He talked about his sex scandal, Jay Leno, depression, marriage and that crazy Joaquin Phoenix interview.  Unfortunately Oprah's director did a crappy job with the camera angles. They kept shooting her from the side, making her look enormous and very cottage cheesy.Gotta say, though, this was one of my favorite Oprah interviews. Good job O!

Next up on the DVR, the season finale of Ice Loves Coco.  I can't believe the season is over already. Coco was in Vegas for her big Peep Show premiere and due to his SVU schedule, Ice couldn't be there. Bummer for you Ice...Coco's outfits were pretty tiny.  It's truly miraculous that they even stayed on her body. There must be some crazy glue or something holding everything in that needs to be held in. Coco danced and pranced and hung upside down from the ceiling all while wearing next to nothing. Obviously this episode was filmed before all of the Vegas controversy went down, but seeing the show, I'm not surprised at all at what happened.  I hope by the time filming begins again (if it does begin again) that everything with Ice and Coco is okay and back on track.  Bump in the road guys.

For some reason, I wasn't really in the mood for Revenge, but I'm the kind of person that when I have something on the "to do" list, it has to get done.  I think the writers realized that the fans are much happier with Daniel and Emily together than apart.  I have no idea who Emily really loves anymore, I really don't.  First I thought that Emily was in love with Jack and using Daniel. Then I sort of thought that Emily really fell for Daniel and then Aidan came into the picture and now I have now idea what to think, but I'm glad that they are headed back together and whether she really loves Daniel or not, I don't even care, I just like them together.  Not sure if Nolan's going back to guys again, he's definitely another one who can't seem to make up his mind.  Still sort of confused about the Darma Initiative or regular Initiative and what they're all about, but I'm guessing that will bubble up enough just in time for the season finale.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was divided into two parts.  The first was the regular show. You'll be proud of me...at least I think you will, I decided to bag the second part, which was the premiere of Lisa's new show, Vanderpump Rules.  I just couldn't do it.  I'm sure the other housewives are just thrilled about Lisa's additional screen time. I bet Andy's getting a ton of texts from all the other housewives bitching that they want THEIR own shows too.  We had tears in the first 5 minutes of RHOBH this week.  The weepy one this time...Brandi.  I know shocking right? Faye Resnick upset her and got her crying. Brandi got her good calling her a "chick with a dick" which I thoroughly enjoyed.  Of course while Brandi and Lisa were shopping and recapping the incident, Kyle and her friend were taking a private yoga class on the cement in her backyard. They did a lot more yappin than down dogs.  I can't stand Yolanda at this point.  I really can't. She and her husband, David Foster (Grammy winning producer in case they didn't tell us enough) just come off so stuck up and obnoxious. Guessing Paul and Adrienne's skin care line never makes it to market since they are still at this point going through with their divorce, I wonder when that storyline will hit the show because so far, nothing's changed with them.

News & Information:

-7.9 million viewers tuned in to Sunday's premiere episode of Downton Abbey.  Pretty incredible numbers for a PBS show or any show for that matter.  In some local markets, the show was the second most watched for the night with NFL taking the top spot.  The premiere was up 96% vs. last year alone.

-Prospect Park has confirmed that One Life to Live and All My Children will in fact go back into production with new episodes.  No information on timing just yet, but the shows are officially a go and most original cast members have signed on, but you know what everyone wants to know...Is Susan Lucci in or not?  So far, no word either way.

-I hate to give Netflix any compliments, but their deal with Warner Brothers is actually pretty smart.  Netflix has entered into a licensing agreement with the studio to be the exclusive service to provide its subscribers with entire seasons of addictive TV dramas like Revolution,  666 Park Avenue, The Following and more.  It's the right way to go quite frankly.  Having the exclusivity will bring subscribers. If Netflix was the only place I could catch up on something I loved, like Sons of Anarchy or Friday Night Lights...I'd have to go back.  It would kill me, but I'd do it.
-16% of US "television households" own tablets, and 56% of US mobile subscribers own smartphones. Within the US smartphone market, Android leads with a 52% market share among operating systems, followed by iOS (35%), Blackberry (7%), and others (6%). Among Americans within TV homes, 86% own a DVD player, 75% own "HD-capable" TVs, 56% own a gaming console, 52% own a digital cable box, 47% own a DVR, 33% subscribe to satellite, and 4% own an Internet-connectable TV.
