Well of course Victoria Grayson isn't dead...I mean c'mon you had to know that the show can't go on without her in it. Apparently they don't think we'd notice that they changed Takada's on us. When Emily/Amanda went back to Japan to complete her training (on her Summer vacation ...new Takada. Once she heads back to the states, she shows up at some gym in NYC to get a ripped and newly coiffed Nolan and head back to the Hamptons to continue with the theme of her life and...the show...Revenge. When she gets back, she finds Daniel with Ashley, Charlotte being controlled by her addiction therapist, Jack and Amanda about to expect their baby and...Victoria, hiding out in the witness protection program. Can't imagine a person like Victoria needing protection from anyone. E/A keeps having flashbacks of her Mom in a mental institution, Google's it and she and Nolan head right over to the abandoned hospital. Of course she finds the restraints they used on her Mom that somehow miraculously have the families crazy eight insignia etched into. Now how could that happen if her Mom's hands were bound? Turns out her Mom is Jennifer Jason Leigh, who apparently got a gig right after Weeds. Sort of hoping that the "Clam Cam" is a new addition to Nolan's bag of tech tricks and didn't just replace the "Whale Cam"...nice addition though. Now that we see them in action, it opens up a whole new opportunity for sea loving camera options...to be sold separately at a Radio Shack near you. Welcome back Grayson's, really looking forward to Season 2.

Once Upon a Time returned last night with a crazy episode...crazy. If you recall, at the end of last season this massive purple cloud took over Storybrooke. Well now we know that it released magic into the town...and we also know where all the dementors from Hogwarts went after book 7...they got a new gig on Once Upon a Time. I'm sure they were psyched to get something after Harry Potter, and the word must have spread to all the fictional characters out there, because even Mulan landed herself a role on the show. Yep that's right, Mulan helped Prince Philip (not the British one) find Sleeping Beauty. I thought it was sort of ironic that as soon as the Prince woke up SB with "true loves kiss" he tells her she really needs her rest. To her credit, she didn't go back to bed, but now she's hanging with Mulan who, I think,is probably going to try to kill Emma and Snow back in fairytale land where they now are after being sucked into the Mad Hatters hat. That just looks weird when you read that back, but that's pretty much what happened. Prior to their crazy trip, everyone in Storybrooke came out of their trance after the curse was broken. Snow and the Prince were reunited with Emma, their daughter, and thought they'd have their happy ending, but Emma's pissed at them for leaving her all alone for years, she's got abandonment issues, do you blame her? Snow's seven not so little friends all wanted to kill the Queen...well, basically everyone wants to kill the Queen, but now she's pretty powerful so looks like she's not dying anytime soon...how could she? Without her the show sucks. Rumple is still pretty much in power. He has the magic medallion, and even with his true love, Belle back in his life, he's still pretty much an evil monster. Can't wait for the season to unfold. Now that I know that any kids movie character could show up, there are endless possibilities. I'm sure the Disney people are going to make sure that only Disney characters get gigs, but that's okay, I'm looking forward to how Simba, and Ariel figure in, cause you know they're coming!

Real Housewives of NJ Reunion-Part 1
Andy looked nervous from the get go and about 30 minutes in I knew why...I felt an anxiety attack coming on while watching this train wreck unfold right before my eyes. The women of RHONJ haven't been in a room together in over a year. So of course they were all volcano's ready to erupt and were apparently holding in a ton of hot burning lava...well...erupt they did...all of them...pretty much at the same time.
We did see quite a few physical changes since last year...Kathy had her nose and lips done, Jaqueline admitted to botox and fillers, Lauren lost 35 lbs thanks to lap band surgery and all of this was only part 1. Jaqueline filled us in on her son's Autism diagnosis, her husband's bankruptcy, her daughter Ashley's ability to earn a paycheck, and her admission that she's a tweetaholic. Lauren came out for a few minutes to reveal her new look (I didn't think she looked that different did you?) and call Theresa out on the fact that she has a professional writing her blog. Apparently the word napalm was used in Theresa's blog and when Lauren asked Theresa what napalm was and how to spell it, Theresa had no idea. This reunion was filled with rudeness, yelling, interruptions, and honestly a disgusting display of humanity...what does that make me for watching? I don't know...I did feel like I needed a Xanax to calm down after watching it though. One down 2 more to go.
To calm my nerves after RHONJ, I had to watch Homeland. If you recall, I had already seen the first 25 minutes of the premiere episode when Showtime released it online a few weeks ago. So here's where we are, Carrie's on her meds, doing some gardening, teaching and living with her sister and her Dad. Nick Brody is now a Congressmen who could be the next Vice Presidential candidate. Nick gets a visit from a friend of Nazir's, his old friend in the Middle East who needs his help in getting some top secret information. Carrie gets a visit Saul (Mandy Patinkin) and the C.I.A. who need her help with one of her contacts. Of course she's fragile and really shouldn't help them out, but off she goes on the mission anyway. Brody's daughter told her new schoolmates and her Mom that Brody is a Muslim and Jessica went nuts (even though she looks like she could be Muslim herself). Of course the two heart attack moments (because this show has at least one every episode) came when Brody was searching for the top secret info at the C.I.A. and when Carrie was doing her best to keep her cool and take care of business with Saul in the Middle East...while she was ultra sweaty, she did give the enemy the slip...it's easy when you just change your hair cover to another color. Oy...Dana Brody is so going to need some major therapy when she realizes that her gut instincts about her father are right. Seeing the two of them bury the Koran together...a bit disconcerting.
With the success of Downton Abbey, PBS thought that they would have another hit on their hands with Call the Midwife. This story follows Jennifer Lee who thinks she is going to a small hospital to be a midwife in 1950's London. What she quickly finds out is that she is not going to a small hospital but a convent that services the poor and lower class. She rolled with it way better than I ever would have, but then I again, I'd never want to be a midwife...ever. Not sure if any of you guys watched this one, but I had a hard time telling the nuns apart. They all looked the same to me. The Midwives know all of the gossip about the women and families they are taking care of which was sort of interesting, but there was a lot of the disgusting stuff that has to do with childbirth (stuff I honestly blocked out) included in the show. They don't show the privates or anything but they certainly don't leave much of the bodily stuff to the imagination. I don't really like babies, childbirth, crying, or nuns (the freak me out), so I honestly don't know if this is a show I'll stick with. Sunday nights are tough and while Call the Midwife is pretty good, I don't know if it's really for me. If anyone out there got a chance to watch this one...let me know what you thought. I'm curious.
On Married to Jonas, Kevin was freaking out because their two teeny tiny dogs are peeing all over the carpet. He just so happened to have a black light thing (really?) so he could see the pee stains all over the place. Dani didn't seem to care at all which was weird to me. She has this gorgeous house...why is it okay to have dog piss all over it? Instead of dealing with the dogs, she was more consumed with planning yet another party...this one for her sister's graduation. Her family gave her a really hard time, but she ended up pulling off a great party on the pier in Atlantic City...because when you have Jo Bro Dough...you can do stuff like that. Kevin had a dog trainer come over and while she's was trying to teach them what to do, Dani's entire family just barges in and the whole session goes out the window. Oh and BTW, Jo Bro's are recording their new album in NYC to be released on 10/11/12. Cutsie right? It's supposed to be.
Have you guys heard of Zeebox yet? I hadn't until one of my awesome readers recommended it to me. Gotta be honest, I only started using it last night. Zeebox is a website and an App that is an amazing TV companion...very different than Viggle. In fact, I still used Viggle on my handset, but used Zeebox on my laptop. Zeebox is a TV guide that connects everything to social feeds and even to show websites and purchases you can make related to the show. It's pretty cool actually. It's owned partially by Comcast and NBC Universal but there are other networks who have a stake in it also. I sort of wish that Viggle could be tied into Zeebox somehow, then it would be the perfect TV companion.
October is sort of a boring month with the exception of Halloween, so with the Emmy contest over, lets get the refer a friend contest back and see how many new readers you can all send my way by Halloween...there is of course a prize...Just send me their email address, or have them send it to me saying that you referred them and whoever gets credit for the most email addresses submitted by 10/31 wins the prize...
