Game of Thrones
Just waiting for Game of Thrones to start was fun...Damon and Douglas in a bathtub on 5/26? Sounds like a plan.  Then the HBO promo for the Spring...enjoyable  Then it started...YEAH! I'd been looking forward to the return of GOT all weekend and then I remembered how hard it is to follow.  So here's what I did.  I watched it and then rewatched part of it and then read what I could to figure it out and here's where I netted out. If I missed something or got something wrong, let me know.  I feel like collaboration is necessary:  Okay so it is winter somewhere now and Sam was lost in the snow and all frozen.  He met up with Commander Mormont and came clean about not releasing the ravens to warn everyone about the white walkers. One job to do and he couldn't manage to get it right. Loser. Then Jon Snow was with his wilding chick and hoping to get in with them as an undercover agent sort of. I think he really likes the red headed wilding girl which could screw him in the long run.  Anyway, he got grilled by the former Night's Watch guy and they let him into the wildings group pretty fast and told him he needs new clothes.  Hopefully that will stop everyone from stoning my favorite guy.  Of course it's still cold and he never takes his clothes off so that's a bit of a bummer. Stannis is still obsessed with that crazy red haired priestess wacko and keeps burning people she tells him to. Tyrion (my fave) is recovering from his Blackwater battle injuries and is pissed that Pops hasn't checked on him. He told his sister he's meeting with Daddy and she seems a bit nervous about that, but there was no reason to be since Dad HATES Tyrion. So much so, that when Tyrion demanded that he be made Lord of Casterly Rock, pops says "I would let myself be consumed by maggots before mocking the family name and making you heir to Casterly Rock". That pissed Tyrion off and sent him on his way. King Joffrey/Geoffrey's fiance is really into being queen and stopped, a la Princess Di, at an orphanage to tell all the children whose parents were killed at Blackwater, that Jof/Geoff is their savior. She's good this chick.  Sansa's not doing that great. She's dying to get back to WinterFell even though nobody's home and Lord Baelish told her he can get her there, but nobody trusts that guy at all.  Rob Stark's still pissed off at his Mom for freeing Jaime Lannister and of course the best part of the night...Khaleesi Dany and her dragons. Dany needs an army, the dragons are getting bigger and they are really cool but her Dothraki guys aren't going to be enough.  She lands somewhere and there are all these slaves but Kraz needs to make sure they're up for the challenge so what's a guy to do? Cut off one of their nipples...yeah that'll prove how tough a guy is.  Then there was a trick scorpion and the guy that saved Dany from it was a guy who served her Dad and then worked for the Baratheons.  This guys been looking for Dany and promised to serve her well.  Did I get it all?  This show really is tough to keep track of. I'm sure the books are even harder. Needless to say, I didn't get to anything else last night especially since I kept playing that video of Kevin Ware over and over and freaking myself out.  So now the DVR's loaded up again.

Tanked
Sometimes a show forgets where it came from. Sometimes it forgets that the audience is intelligent and doesn't need what it never asked for.  I'm getting nervous that this is what's happening to my guys on Tanked.  The show is getting to be too scripted and too formulaic. We don't need staged mishaps, events and fake story lines.  We all loved the show the way it was.   Last week, we had someone get hurt trying to imitate a stunt from Jackass and this week, Heather and Wayde renewing their wedding vows? I can't imagine they came up with that on their own. I'm sure a few new tank tops for Heather and a pair of earrings and she'd have been thrilled. The bachelor party was absolutely ridiculous.  I'm not even sure there really was one.  We saw photos of people doing odd things and then everyone waking up at ATM with farm animals roaming the premises.  Honestly, I just didn't buy it.  I didn't buy Wayde's proposal either.  If you're going to spend all that time and energy to have a plane fly over with the question, you would think the person doing the asking could get it right.  I don't know it just felt very staged and awkward and honestly, very unnecessary.  Two tanks were created this week though. A double decker tank for a college I never hear of called, St. Leo University and a slot machine arch for a wedding chapel in Vegas. To be honest, both weren't that cool. I was more interested in the amount of times Wayde wore his sunglasses on top of his head for an extended period of time (3) and that Heather and Agnes continued to ONLY wear tank tops.  C'mon guys, I love you, but let's get  back to basics.

Joan & Melissa
I have no idea what's staged or scripted on Joan and Melissa, but that's the beauty of their show. They're all so nuts that anything is possible and the crazier the better, I don't even care.  This week during their hula hoop lesson, Melissa invited Lynn to Thanksgiving at Joan's place in NY.  BIG MISTAKE!  Lynn was the worst house guest ever, and trust me I've had some doozies in my house!  All we kept hearing about was this gravy boat that was the last remaining family heirloom of Joan's dead husband's that they only use on Thanksgiving.  Of course, Lynn, the worst house guest ever broke that, skipped out on lunch and brought dirty laundry to wash and dried it on Joan's furniture...bras no less! She also ate Prince Charles's wedding cake that Joan got as a souvenir, and then got in bed with Joan naked. What's wrong with this chick? Joan's neighbors kept putting their garbage bags in front of her building and Joan lost it big time.  She was having 36 people for Thanksgiving and thought it would be disgusting for them to have to walk by the garbage to enter her building so she went downstairs in her million dollar outfit in full get up an started throwing garbage over to the neighbors building.  Her doorman told her that this was HER garbage from the party set up.  She was mortified and asked him not to tell anyone. It was hilarious.  The best part for me though, (and Melissa) was the return of Duncan the hot British guy she met in London.  She invited him for Thanksgiving and they went ice skating and kissed and then he hunted her down at the party and made out with her. Yeah Duncan. He's really hot! I hope she's still with him.

Revenge
Nobody ever wants to go to the police anymore.  Every one's so smart, has access to information, weapons, etc. they no longer need the cops.  Nolan and Aidan figured they could handle the Carrion drop off and get Padma and her Dad outta there safely all on their own.  No cops. Didn't go so well.  Jack and Decklin are doing their own detective work to find out what REALLY happened to Amanda.  No cops and so far not too much luck on the case.  Of course we know that Emily and the Graysons all work alone.  Must be nice to have that much confidence in your crime solving abilities to never need real law enforcement.  So, Eli James, Emily's fo bro, who just showed up in the Hamptons last week, and ended up at the Grayson's dinner table and co-chairing the Amanda fundraiser scammed Victoria and ruined everything.  He chose the big check ceremony to bring down Mrs Hayward and piss off Victoria. I need to know the name of the company that produces these giant checks. What do people actually do with them? I don't think there's a Giant Check Bank North where recipients can go cash them or anything. I wonder how much they charge to make a big check like that. I'm totally of topic now. Back to Revenge... Eli wanted to make sure he made good on his promise to Emily by taking down Hayward and giving her the additional letters from her Dad that somehow now seem to exist. Of course he only had one of them and guess who had the rest...Mason.  So of course Emily headed right over to prison where she learned that Daniel has a brother. DUN DUN DUNNNNNN.  (Hope you could here the music in your head as that's what I was going for.) I thought that Revenge was getting back to being good again, but it's still way too complicated and getting more and more ridiculous each week.  I wish I stayed awake for Red Widow. That one, so far, is still pretty simple. I'll let you guys know after I catch up on it if I can still understand the plot.

Once Upon a Time
Snow/MM/EB hit the woods with her Ipod, her bow and arrow and jammed to a little Joan Jett while she cleared her head.  While in the woods she found August/Pinocchio all in wood.  I couldn't tell if that was make-up or CGI, but it was pretty cool.  Apparently August was in Hong Kong in 2011 when he started turning to wood and this guy turned him on to "The Dragon" who had a potion that could help him but it would cost August his puppet string necklace and 10G's.  He ended up stealing the 10G's from Tamara who coincidentally (or not) is Neil's fiance.  Tamara's up to no good in general.  She tazered "The Dragon" and took the potion for herself.  Cut to present day and she shows up in Storybrooke with bagels and lox, and to get August to leave town. We're still not sure why though.  August was just over the Storybrooke line when he figured out that Tamara's trouble. So he turned around to warn everyone, but she had her trusty tazer and got him good.  Henry realized that by Pinocchio warning them all, he acted brave, truthful and unselfish which did reverse the spell and turned Pin back into a boy who wears silly puppet clothes.  Regina saved that lanyard that Owen made her when he was little, cause that's really all lanyards are good for and finally made the connection that he is the strange new guy in town. Shocking twister of the night...Owen is "with" Tamara.  They're working together and "doin the nasty" so they are both not what they seem at all. Who is anymore?  Snow/MM/EB told David that she has blackness in her heart but David knows that Snow/MM/EB has a pure heart and every thing's going to be fine...it's a fairytale. IT HAS TO BE!

Joan & Melissa
Dylan and I caught up on 2 episodes of Joan & Melissa when his Travel baseball game got cancelled on Sunday.  We really love Joan & Melissa.  Over the course of both episodes, I think Joan changed outfits and necklaces a minimum of 40 times.  Joan got freaked out by an earthquake and made the whole team go to an emergency preparedness place to stock up on supplies.  Apparently in LA, there are quite a few of these places to chose from.  The place that Joan found had an earthquake simulator which of course the crew had to try out. It was scary and hilarious, scalarious!  I gotta give Joan credit,  she is open and up for anything and pretty forward thinking about technology.  First she decided to do a show on the web because of her frustration regarding censorship (It's called In Bed With Joan and it's pretty good you should check it out in your spare time.) and then she gave hologramming a shot.  Gotta admit, it was pretty realistic. The entire posse headed to London for a few meetings and a few shows.  Tony, one of Joans writers, begged her to let him open for her and he bombed...bad.  She was so nice about it I couldn't believe it.  Melissa had a date with a gorgeous Brit named Duncan.  This guy was perfect, and I think Melissa really needed a nice guy for a change.  Her track record has sucked and she's a bit nervous and gunshy.  I love Melissa, but she really needs to trim those bangs a little.  They're wayyyyy to long and I would think they would drive her crazy too.

Tanked
Yeah! My friends Brett and Wayde are back and so are Redneck, Heather and the General.  This week, the Tanked team was asked to build a giant Smoothie tank for Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Florida and a huge 10 foot tank for the producer of Jackass.  The Jackass guy seemed like he actually was a bit of a jackass.  No idea if the prank pulled on Brett and Wayde was for the cameras or if the guys were messing with them cause that's just what they do, but they took the tires and lug nuts off Brett & Wayde's rental car.  Seemed a bit contrived, but whatever.  The guys got them back with a beer tap that bunches you in the balls when you go to fill up your cup, so I was satisfied.  Back in Vegas, the guys tried imitating the Jackass guys by trying to replicate their shopping cart stunts.  This time someone did get hurt...Frankie one of the ATM office guys.  In the end, as is the case every week, the tanks were awesome and everyone was okay.  So glad new episodes are back!

Once Upon a Time
Once Upon a Time was divided into two halves last night, 1983 and present day.  Within 1983 there was some sort of Groundhog Day thing going on that I didn't understand but I don't do well with time travel in general.  That's why I gave up on Lost,  but that's another story.  Anyway in 1983 Curt Flynn and his son Owen, accidentally ended up in Storybrooke and Regina took a liking to them both and wanted them to stay put.  Regina seems to have a weird obsession with young boys doesn't she?  Curt started to sense something was weird and saw Regina talking to the Sheriff's heart and quickly bolted.  Sheriff Ashton Kutscher, ran him down and arrested him. Curt told Owen to take his lanyard and run and that's what he did.  He ran to the cops and brought them back to the town line and of course they told him there was no such place as Storybrooke. Owen swore he would never stop looking for Curt.

In present day Storybrooke, Regina's still out to make Snow and her eyebrows pay killing her Mom.  She wants her dead but as everyone continued to remind her, if she kills Snow, Henry will never forgive her.  In a fit of rage she found a curse in her Mom's old dress that will get someone to love you even if it isn't real. She was going to use it on Henry but he went running into the woods.  The stranger that was in the hospital for the past few weeks, bumped into him and for some odd reason called Regina.  Regina, Emma, Gold and Neil all met up in the woods and in the big showdown, Regina  burned the curse.  Snow couldn't take it anymore so she went to Regina's house and begged her to kill her and put her out of her misery. Regina ripped her heart out but it now has a dark spot which made Regina very happy because it meant that Snow and her eyebrows will continue to grow darker and darker which is better than death.  This was such good news that she put Snow's heart back in her body with hopes that she'll live in misery. I assumed the credits would roll right then and there, but noooooo.  The stranger dude from the hospital/woods was video taping the entire magical thing. It turns out...he IS Owen!  And he is back for his Dad and to blow the lid off of Storybrooke.

Couple of side notes: During dinner, Curt and Owen told Regina they were from "NJ Home of the Boss".  She had no idea who "The Boss" was.  Ya had to be there. It was funny.  Owen gave Regina a lanyard and all I thought about was all the lanyards I had or still have in a draw somewhere and have no idea what to do with them or what anyone ever did do with them. What is the purpose of lanyard?  When Gold saw Cora's box of evil magic ingredients, how in the world did he know which 2 were missing?  That was a little bit of a stretch.

Revenge
It always amazes me how people on TV can put together a party or fundraiser in what seems like a day when anyone that has ever planned a birthday party, wedding, or Bar Mitzvah knows that this is pretty much impossible.  Well, on Revenge, the Grayson's are masters...they set up a fake charity to honor Amanda Clarke, put together a fundraiser and raised 5 million bucks in one episode.  Of course it wasn't out of the goodness of their hearts, it was really because they needed the dough and when Daniel found out, he was so pissed that he seemed to let his British accent slip out. Eli, Emily's "Fo Bro" not only showed up and posed as a rare book broker, but he convinced Victoria that he was worthy of co-chairing the foundation in a day.  Not sure if it was to piss off Emily or to make amends with Charlotte, but either way it's truly a ridiculous move.   Nobody would ever believe Victoria would even consider letting in a complete stranger. Makes no sense whatsoever.  Emily heard about the charity and wanted the co-chair spot but even with a donation of 250K she couldn't get the gig.  She also gave Eli 100K to leave town, but he passed that on to Victoria and the foundation as his donation.  So Em's out 350K in an episode. Nolan in 10 seconds flat with his super secret Carrion software tried hacking into the Grayson's computer system to find out info on what they are up to,  but instead found that the rockstar of the hacking world, someone called Falcon, got there first and apparently is way better at coding than Nolan. So the next big thing...who is Falcon?

Girls
Finally, the season finale of Girls on HBO. Thank god I'm done with this freaking show.  The 23 minutes couldn't go fast enough for me. Hannah was in complete self destruction mode, counting, eating Cool Whip, and cutting off her hair, but somehow she managed to do what I haven't been able to...Face Time someone on her Iphone. (Obviously it's not that important to me or I'd have figured it out)  In her case, it was Adam she reached out to in the midst of her mania. He had just gotten done having the most normal sex he's ever had, with the hot chick from Life Unexpected  and then demolished his apartment because of it.  Right away he saw that Hannah was a mess and I guess she told him about her OCD issues when they were dating, so he went running through the streets, into the subway, to her apartment, broke down her door picked her up like Richard Gere and Debra Winger in Officer and a Gentleman and made out with her. They're both so gross...it figures this is how it would end up. He's her hero? WTF?   Marnie ended up with Charlie after all.  I guess between his new found money and the demonstration of his new skill set down below, she realized he was THE ONE. Shosh broke up with Ray even though he was going to run the new Brooklyn Heights Grumpy's. Yeah! It's over.  Sorry Lena, I just hate Girls.  I hate it.

NEWS & INFORMATION

-I'm sure it's old at this point and all of you have seen it, but my FBFF, Jimmy and his bud Justin knocked it out of the park with History of Rap 4 on Friday night.  If you've been under a rock or in a St. Patricks Day stupor all weekend, here it is for your enjoyment and convenience.  Just as good (if not better) than the previous chapters:

-To celebrate March Madness lets start off with this...March Mad Men...check it out:

-And to prepare for the premiere of Game of Thrones on 3/31/13, my favorite promo so far (and there are a LOT of them!):
-Saturday Night Live (Or Sunday Morning DVRed, to me) with Justin Timberlake last weekend delivered the shows highest national numbers in 14 months against RA18-49. The show averaged a 3.4 with 8.4 million viewers checking out JT and the Five Timers Club. I'm sure it's also doing great on Hulu, but I can't seem to find any numbers on that anywhere.

-Sorry to have to be the one to tell you guys this, but for all of you Bachelor and Bachelorette fans who enjoy the Summer series, Bachelor Pad...it's not happening this year.  At least that's what I saw yesterday.  If anyone from ABC knows anything different, please let me know.  I never like to spread rumors, but it seemed to have been confirmed yesterday.

-2 big premieres tonight, Bates Motel and Dancing with the Stars. I'm not watching either one of them, let me know if you guys are though.  As always I love to know what people are watching. I can't purely go off of Nielsen and Trendrr...

-February comScore info is out. Here are the big take aways:
  • 178 million Americans watched 33.03 billion online videos which is down vs. the 180 million in January who watched 36.19 billion online videos.  Feb has 3 days less in the month than January, so lets chalk it up to the shorter month.
  • Google was still number one for viewing with 151 million unique viewers.  Facebook had 61 million, VEVO 49 million, NDN 46 million, and Yahoo 44 million.
-How many of these do you have on your Ipad?

We learned a lot about Cora and Rumple on Once Upon a Time last night. Cora's dad was a lazy drunk, causing embarrassment and really pissing her off so much that she turned into the nasty be'atch we know today. Well we knew her yesterday.  Apparently Rumple was Cora's one true love. He saved her life long ago by teaching her the old turning straw into gold trick. She loved him so much that she kissed him even with all that nasty green glittery stuff on his face and then ripped her own heart out so she wouldn't be clouded by love and could plan her evil reign.  But Karma's a bitch and unfortunately it came back to bite her in the butt big time.  Snow and her eyebrows used the magic candle, that she wouldn't even use on her own Mom. Remember though if you use the magic candle, you trade one life for another.  So after Snow and her eyebrows spoke to the candle and found Cora's heart in the heart storage locker, she  tricked Regina into putting the heart back in her Mom. Regina wanted to know her Mommy loved her so much that of course even she fell for that story. Regina went and put Cora's heart back in her, got one of those "Mommy Loves You" looks out of Cora, and then done...dead. Pretty sure Regina will be meaner and nastier than ever knowing that again, Snow got over on her big time.  A few side notes from last night...cheesy special effects alert on the boat back to Storybrooke.  Kudos to Emma for learning magic in less than 60 seconds, and I need to get me some of that invisible chalk.  That came in pretty handy now didn't it?

After last night, I only have to watch one more episode of Girls, thank god.  I hated, hated, hated last nights episode. There wasn't one thing in the 22 minutes I forced myself to watch that I enjoyed. Not one.  Hannah's dress in the elevator, the counting, the scooting on the floor while wearing only a T-Shirt and underwear, the splinter, the cleaning of the splinter, the ear cleaning, the q tip getting stuck in her ear during the cleaning, the call to her parents, the hospital, the inexplicable reason why she went to the hospital not wearing any pants, the saving of the q tip, more counting, the awkward Adam run in, Marnie's horrible version of  "Stronger," Adam thinking he's Christian Grey, what we saw on Nat's chest,  Shosh and Ray, Shosh's off to the side hair bun and Charlie and Marnie...OMG I HATE THIS SHOW...only one more episode of this torture.  One more and I'm done.  I think.

On Revenge everyone was reeling over Amanda's death, especially Emily.  But I gotta say, that Jack handled the news relatively well. First he cried hysterically, but in less than 30 seconds he was able to meet with Mr. Grayson, rip out his tubes and sneak out of the hospital to go find the secret computer.  Isn't it amazing how on TV everyone who is hospitalized needs to rip out their tubes and leave the hospital immediately? It did catch up with him though.  He got so upset that he smashed the jar of beach glass and of course this lead to finding the key to the locker where the secret computer was and notes about Amanda and Emily's real meeting in Juvi. Jack's so distraught that he tells off Emily and leaves the secret computer out on his bed while he went to "bury his wife".  Of course that's just the perfect way for Emily to come back for it and after all that what did she do with it? She threw it in the ocean and uttered my new favorite slogan..."No More Distractions". Charlotte was obsessed with finding people to go to Amanda's funeral, so much so she used a search engine I'd never heard of called GoQuestGo??? What, no rights to Google, Bing or even Ask.com?  GoQuestGo???  Well it does work apparently, because Charlotte found Emily's foster brother who arrives in the Hamptons on next weeks episode.  The Initiative already sent in Diane Crawley's replacement.  The guys is known as Mr. Trask. Anyone remember where we've heard that name before?  Secret 5 point bonus trivia question if you email me that answer today. No More Distractions...I gotta get to work (see how fun it is to use?)

WWTM This Weekend

Dylan and I really love watching Joan and Melissa on Sunday mornings.  This weeks episode was really one of the best ones ever. Joan is just the best.  This week it was Grandma Week which is the one week every Summer that she and her grandson Cooper doing something fun together.  Last year it was Paris but this year since Cooper's studying the 13 colonies, Joan got a Rock Star bus, Cooper, his friend Julian, Melissa and their friend Martyn to tour them all themselves. As you would expect, a week on a bus together was filled with drama. The bus smelled of poo and rotten eggs, Julian puked, Cooper had a meltdown and wouldn't wear a costume and then had another meltdown when they went to visit University of Pennsylvania, Melissa's alma mater. Joan's couldn't take it and needed some wine so badly that she found some white trash strangers to drive her to the nearest liquor store. The best meltdown though was Joan's when she found out that Costco was banning her book because it had the word sh*t on the back cover.  When she got home to LA, she went to Costco with a few boxes of books and a megaphone and handcuffed herself to a ladies shopping cart.  The cops showed up just as Melissa and Cooper were finding out about this on the news...to be continued.  I love Joan.

Okay, so for me, Saturday Night Live has become Sunday Morning DVR, but it still rocked this weekend. Unless you live under a rock, you know that Justin Timberlake was host and musical guest.  It's been all over the news, the Internet etc.  He didn't disappoint.  This was Justin's 5th time hosting which meant he was officially in the 5 Timer's Club, this and my 2 favorite skits, "It's a Date," and "Veganville," were the highlights of the show. Even JT couldn't help the normal trajectory of the show in which it seems to go downhill after the 2nd musical performance,  and this week was no exception. Sober Caligula was bad but  Maine Justice made no sense at all. I don't  understand how Lorne approved that one to make it on air.  If you didn't see the show, and didn't see any of the clips, check them out below.  Next up for Justin...5 nights on my FBFF's show...can't wait!

News & Information

-BET's Real Husbands of Hollywood has been renewed for a second season.  I keep hearing about this one. I was discounting it until Brett Blattman recommended it to me on Thursday. If you all remember, Brett's the guy that begged me to watch Breaking Bad and you know what happened there.  I'll have to check this one out now and get caught up on Season 1 before the second season starts.  Who else watches this one?

-It's confirmed that Joy Behar is leaving The View, but there are unconfirmed reports that  now Elizabeth Hasselback is leaving too. If you believe US Magazine and the Drudge Report, then it's not only true, but then Brooke Shields is going to replace one of um at the table.  I usually prefer to report something when its confirmed but I like the fact that Elizabeth could be leaving and I like the fact that Brooke Shields could possibly take the chair from her...so for now...I'm going with it.  Happy to retract it if I'm wrong.

On Friday night when I was reading Entertainment Weekly (old school paper Magazine...gasp!) I just loved Mark Harris's story about Pilot Season.  Thought you guys would too.  I hope the network programming peeps read it, the guy is right on the money! Here's the link:

Monday's Trivia Question: I'm still going with the couples quiz since I didn't use them all up yet...Clair & Cliff, Juliet & Sawyer and Casey & Dana (that's a hard one).  Name the shows.

WWTM Last Night

Another super juicy episode of Once Upon a Time last night.  It was Snow's birthday and at first we weren't sure why she hated her birthday so much, but then, we were taken back in time, before Snow's eyebrows went wacko, to the birthday when she was about receive her crown as a kid.  Mrs. Patmore from Downton Abbey was Snow's Mom's assistant back then.  While everyone was getting ready for the big party, Snow's Mom got really sick.  Snow went to the blue fairy who offered her a special candle to save her Mom's life, but if she used it she'd have to kill someone else and she just couldn't do that because she is filled with GOOD not evil.  So her Mom died on her birthday, total bummer. Back in Storybrook  Snow and Eric need to find Gold's dagger before Regina and her psychotic Mom, Cora find it.  They call Gold in NYC and he tells them that the dagger is on the clock hand in the town square.  Great hiding spot, but as soon as Snow and Eric got the dagger, Cora and Regina show up to take it, but not before Snow finds out that Cora was the blue fairy way back when and her Mom didn't really have to die.  Snow freaks out and decides that she's going to the dark side and she's going to kill Cora.  (I'll believe it when I see it).  In NYC, Hook shows up and attacks Mr. Gold with the hook that he got back from the Sheriff's office.  He poisons Gold and disappears.

NEWS & INFORMATION

-I got home on Friday and found out about Bonnie Franklin passing away. Bonnie played Ann Romano on one of my all time favorite shows as a kid...One Day at a Time. One Day at a Time was the first show on TV that reflected a family like mine.  My parents were divorced, I lived with my Mom and my sister in an apartment building and we dealt with life.  We didn't have Schneider, we had various Superintendents over the years. But Ann Romano was like my Mom and I loved them both very much.  I was really sad to hear of her passing.  When you have a connection like that with a show, it hurts a bit when you hear this kind of news.  When Carol Brady goes I just my have to take to my bed.  Anyway, Thanks for everything Bonnie...RIP. This ones for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nJ4K4UebxA

Lots of buzz around the Internet over the weekend that NBC is going to announce at the upfront in May that Jay Leno's contract won't get renewed and my FBFF will take the helm when it expires.  While I would be thrilled for him, I'll believe it when I see it.  At this point, even with the addition of Jimmy Kimmel to the 11:30 time slot, Jay's still holding his own as much as I hate to admit it.  He's obviously got a loyal following and I've always heard that Jay's not the retiring type, but maybe he's ready now.  Maybe he'll go to special niche shows about his car collection or his motorcycle collection or maybe he and Mavis will do a reality show or something.  Who knows.  All I know is that I will do anything I can to support my FBFF for the job if it becomes available.  I guess though, that if that does happen, he'll NEVER have time for a sleepover then.  It's the price of success, I'll deal.

-ABC pulled Zero Hour already...three strikes and their out.  I never watched it so no idea if it was actually good or not.  I still think that pilots and series that get pulled etc. should all get their own channel on the networks or the production companies websites.  How cool would it be if a network let the viewers help program a season?  I would take it really seriously and I bet other people would too.  Even if it was a disaster, it would be great fun, great press and the true power of the people could be seen.  Let us program a night or something...think about it guys!  You paid for these things...let them see the light of day somewhere.

-The CW is bringing back Whose Line is it Anyway.  Aisha Tyler is going to be the host, and Ryan Stile Wayne Brady an Colin Mochrie are all coming back along with a "special guest"  each week.  I didn't love Whose Line the first go around, but if memory serves it did okay, so who knows what will happen this time.

-Okay, I totally admit it, this is one I will probably watch and for a lot of reasons.  Beth Stern, Howard's wife, has a new show coming out on April 20th on Nat Geo Wild (I hope I have this network on my lovely cable system) called Spoiled Rotten Pets.  Here's why I'm going to watch: 1) Howard's going to watch, he's going to talk about it and I need to know what he's talking about. 2) I need to support Beth, she's actually tweeted me back every time I've ever asked her a question on Twitter.  3) I love animals, well, most of them anyway. 4) I know a lot of people that spoil their animals and they are nuts. 4) If I ever have dinner with Howard and Beth I want to be able to offer some thoughts, ideas, notes etc.

-I really need to talk to Andy Cohen.  It's total BS that Adrienne and Camille are both not attending the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion special.  If they sign the contract to get paid for the entire season, that should include the reunion special.  Camille not being their isn't the biggest deal in the world, but Adrienne not being there is huge.  A lot of the drama this season was hers and the audience is owed her attendance.  Andy...DO SOMETHING!

-O'Brien's out too?  WTF Downton Abbey?  First Lady Sybil (Cybil whatever spelling at this point), then Matthew, and now freakin O'Brien? OMG. I hope season 4 isn't the season things jump the shark.  The guy they find to mend Lady Mary's heart better be off the charts or I'm going to...ehhhh I'm going to watch until it dies...who am I kidding?

Monday's Trivia Question: As a tribute to Bonnie Franklin, at least one trivia question...so...Ann had 2 pretty long term boyfriends during the run of the show.  Can you name either of them?  (1 point for each).  Bonus question: One of them had a son, can you name him?  10 point bonus if you know the actors real name WITHOUT GOOGLING IT!
