Little People In a Big World Special
This Little People special episode was the episode I've had in my brain ever since I started  watching the Roloff's a few years ago.  Amy and Matt  are finally rid of most of their kids and are realizing that they pretty much can't stand each other. I personally blame Amy for everything. Matt's on crutches and has never, ever been a lazy slacker. He's given her and their kids an amazing life and honestly all Matt really wants is for her to clean up the god d*mn house. Pretty simple. Clean the house. The house looks like a bomb hit it all the time. She cares about everyone BUT Matt.  She's so freaking rude to him and disagrees with everything he says.  I don't want anyone to get divorced, especially my little Matt Roloff, but honestly, he's a hot commodity, if I were Amy, I'd pay attention to my man and hold on tight. Clean the house and give him a little something once in a while and maybe you'll remember why you fell in love with him in the first place.  At the end of the episode, we really weren't sure what was going to happen.  I guess the next special is LIttle People Divorce Court.

Mistresses
I was hoping that Mistresses would be a fun Summer time soap. It has everything it should have to be one. Cute guys, scantily clad women, cheaters, and liars, but some thing's still not right. I think that something is actually Alyssa Milano. For my entire life every guy (and some girls) were into Alyssa Milano, but the Who's the Boss Alyssa Milano, not this one. Now that she's finally back on TV in show where she's wearing lingerie...she needs some Spanxx to pull it off and she seems incredibly unsexy and awkward to watch.  Total bummer, because I think the show would have been watchable if she wasn't the problem.

The Voice
I'm sort of getting bored writing about The Voice. Of course I'm never bored with the judges, what they wear, how they look and their chemistry, but honestly.  I don't really truly care who even wins at this point. I care if Blake's wasted, or if Usher's neck is blown out from carrying around a million pounds of bling, but I really don't care about Holly Tucker or Michelle Chamuel or any of them.  Well...maybe the Swon Bro's but that's about it.  I've actually decided that in the Fall, I'm not watching.  3 hours a week is just too much for the Mom of a 7th grader to commit to, so as much as I love Blake and Adam, I think I'm out next season. It was a tough decision but I think it's the right one for me.

Oprah's Next Chapter
I Tivo'ed Oprah's Next Chapter on Sunday night. She was on the set of The Voice and interviewed Usher (with one leg up), Shakira, who was sweet but not THAT interesting and then she brought out Adam and Blake who were just too cute and too much fun. Blake had pink cocktails and didn't know that Oprah and Gayle like to drink Tequila when they party. Blake was just hilarious, exactly how I thought he'd be. He really does seem to be super fun and up for anything AND he really is into Adam and Adam seemed really into him in a heterosexual bromance sort of way. Love them both, but I'm sticking to my plan.

Goodwin Games
Okay...another one bites the dust for me.  I love Scott Foley and I love Becki Newton, but the younger brother in The Goodwin Games is unwatchable, and sure there are three Goodwin's but there were NO games. WTF? I thought these siblings were competing in different games to win their father's inheritance. No Games...no Carruba. I hate bait and switch BS. Done guys.

News & Information:

-Best Ink on Oxygen was renewed for a 3rd season.  That's not the one with Dave Navarro though...just want to make sure you are keeping your tattooing shows straight.

-According to the IAB, digital ad revenues in the US hit an all time high in 1Q 2013 with 9.6 billion dollars coming in. This is a 15.6% increase year over year and the biggest quarter to date.

-I found it interesting that the majority of mobile TV viewing is actually happening INSIDE the home. 82% of TV viewing on tablets and 64% on smartphones is happening at home. Drama  accounts for 31% of tablet viewing and 27% of smartphone viewing.  Comedies account for 20% of tablet viewing and 24% of smartphone viewing. Avoiding ads isn't why people are doing it. Its really about convenience and binge viewing. In our house we use it for sports more than anything.  Weird new behaviors right?
