THE SHOWS

Jimmy Kimmel Live
Sure I love Jimmy Fallon, but I do enjoy Jimmy Kimmel and TiVO his show everyday. Not sure if you're up to speed on this one, but if not, it's my job to get you there. Yesterday all over the place there was a video of a wolf running loose in hallways of the Olympic Village. It was everywhere. Guess what...PRANK! Jimmy Kimmel Olympic size prank and a really good one. Jimmy got permission to use women's luge team member, Kate Hansen's Twitter account and post a video of the wolf running loose. It of course went viral and was all the rage...Not real, brilliant prank. Good job Jimmy! The late night wars have begun. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, here's the video: http://abc.go.com/shows/jimmy-kimmel-live

In addition to Jimmy Kimmel, I again caught up on Ellen,  Andy Cohen, Kelly & Michael, more Olympics and even 40 minutes of Grease. Last nights Jimmy Fallon was good, but nothing super juicy to report. Jimmy had the first lady, MIchelle Obama, Will Farrell and Arcade Fire. Jimmy's big skit was "EW" where he dressed like a blond haired little girl. I've never been a lover of that character. Last nights show was the weakest of the week and more of a "normal" show. Tonight's the big one...Justin Timberlake. I'm sure it will be epic. Can't wait to see it.

THE OTHER STUFF

-Congrats to Nina Tassler who was named Chairman of CBS Entertainment and with that her contract has been extended through 2017. In her new expanded role, Tassler will lead the Network’s Entertainment programming across primetime, daytime and late night, as well as program development in all genres, including comedy, drama, reality, specials and long-form. She will direct a growing year-round programming portfolio that now includes a full slate of original series in the summer and a newly created limited series and live event program unit. Tassler will also oversee Entertainment division matters in advertising and promotion, business affairs, consumer products, digital/interactive, diversity, publicity, scheduling and research. She's also married and the Mom of 2 kids. I'd love to know her work/life balance situation.

Just what we need, another all sports network. This one's supposed to be different though. Time Inc. is launching 120 Sports, a live-streaming sports network that will provide game highlights and access to unauthenticated video programming. No idea what that means. Also not sure what this means: "through a new technology platform built to intuitively integrate video and data in ways fans haven't experienced before." Launch partners include the NHL, NBA, MLB.com, NASCAR and collegiate conferences. The 24-hour linear net, featuring programming in two-minute segments, is set to debut this spring. I guess I'll have to wait and see it to understand what it is.

Friday's Trivia Question: What's this weeks theme?

Have a great weekend!
