Everyone keeps asking me how the Olympics are doing ratings wise. They're delivering solid numbers each night. They had been flat to the Vancouver Winter Olympics, but Tuesday's ratings were 20% higher than the same night in 2010. So many of us are cooped up in this insane weather, so I'm sure that's helping viewership.

Interestingly, Good Morning America beat The Today Show on Tuesday which has never happened before. First time the network morning show carrying the games didn't win a morning.
THE SHOWS

Again all I really watched last night was Olympics. Mainly to see if Bob Costas was back and he wasn't. He was looking painfully bad the first few nights wasn't he? Matt's doing a great job, but I hope Bob's better soon!

THE OTHER STUFF

Comcast and Time Warner are merging together. No cash changing hands apparently, 42 BILLION in stock, but still that's HUGE news! More info to come soon

Yeah for Mark Consuelos. He's not JUST Kelly's husband anymore! Now he's bringing home some bacon too! Alpha House on Amazon, the show he stars along side John Goodman in, has been renewed for a second season! It's a good show. It's not House of Cards, but it's really pretty enjoyable. Check it out and Congrats Mark.

Les Moonves is never at a loss for words, but first time, he didn't have all the answers when asked about Big Bang Theory next year and where it will run now that CBS is going to have NFL games on Thursday nights..."some other night" was the response.

Thursday's Trivia Question: Name the dating game show hosted by Chuck Woolery.
