13.5 million viewers tuned in to watch Puppy Bowl X at some point during the 12 hour marathon on Sunday. I was one of them, and while I did enjoy it, I didn't think the puppies were as cute as they usually are. Anyone tune in? Anyone agree? Disagree?

Gotta give equal time to the kittens. The Hallmark Channel's first ever Kitten Bowl was seen by 6.1 million viewers over the course of Super Bowl Sunday. I'm not a cat person, so I never turned away from my puppies, but I'm sure for all of you cat lovers it was enjoyable right? I haven't seen any numbers for the Fish Bowl...anyone even remember to check that one out?
THE OTHER STUFF

Over the weekend, we all heard the good news that our favorite NY Giant/Talk show host, Michael Strahan will be inducted into the Football Hall of Fame. First and foremost, congratulations to Michael Strahan...well deserved in my opinion.  On Monday's "Live" show, Gelman forked over the dough and threw a nice celebration for him which generated their highest single day rating since November 2011. The show did a 4.3 HH Rating in the 56 metered markets.

Okay Dancing with the Stars fans are you angry or do you not care that the Harold Wheeler Orchestra and Singers have been booted from the show. The plan apparently is to use recorded music instead. Harold and the gang have been with the show for 17 seasons. I don't watch, as you know, but it's still upsetting. 29 people being replaced by an Iphone or something.

Yeah! House of Cards has already been renewed for a 3rd season.  The 2nd season starts on Valentines Day. If you guys haven't seen season 1 yet, you have some time but not much. Get going! One note about House of Cards, you have to pay attention. No multitasking. Put everything away while you watch.

You've seen the content already, but this repackaged Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee "Single Shot" is an interesting way to revisit Jerry's Leno/Letterman interviews especially this week, as Jay says goodbye to 11:35pm.  Thursday's season finale features my fave...Howard Stern.  http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/05/business/media/the-ballad-of-leno-and-letterman-told-by-seinfeld.html?smid=tw-nytmedia&seid=auto&_r=0

Nellie Olsen's Dad, Nels, Richard Bull passed away yesterday at the age of 89. RIP Nels.

Wednesday's Trivia Question: Before winning 3 Olympic gold medals, this diver suffered a concussion and four stitches after hitting his head on a diving board. Name the athlete.
