-Tuesday nights Pretty Little Liars became the number one most tweeted series of 2014 to date and the 4th most tweeted series in TV history. I saw it happening live and it was crazy.  If the screaming in the theatre was as loud online there'd be a ton of people in need of new monitors/cellphones and tablets right now.

-Not looking good for Sam Champion and his new Weather Channel morning show...only 186,000 viewers tuned in on Tuesday which was a 10% drop from Monday's premiere.

THE SHOWS

I got caught up with the Knicks last night, so I didn't watch as much primetime as I should have. I've never been a huge Melo person, I'm on the Amare side of things, but I digress...

Flipping Out
Why did they wait til episode 3 to fill us in on the housekeeping situation at Jeff Lewis Design? Honestly, I get it...Jeff's odd and quirky, Jenny's pregnant but the best part of the show is really Zoila. Zoila was apparently promoted to house manager and has 2 direct reports. Lupe and Maria, neither of whom speak any English. So now, Zoila doesn't even clean anymore, she just oversees these two and of course there's problems.  Zoila's never been a manager before and look who managed her...Jeff! Not great training at all. So there's tension between Lupe and Zoila and I don't know what happened, but Lupe's disappeared. Jeff keeps insinuating that Zoila killed her and buried her in the back yard, but I'm betting she's just had enough and wanted to go party.  The team refurnished the Barrett-Jackson guys house in Arizona which was a bit of a bore. Jeff's Grandma has an insane dog and she's really a mean old lady, so since I'm not loving most of the other staff members, especially Gage, I think we need a Zoila spinoff...or lets go back in time to when it was just Jeff, Jenny and Zoila. Those were the days.

Survivor
Well, the crap-for-brains tribe didn't have to worry too long about their lack of smarts. The first merge from 3 to 2 tribes occurred right away last night. My son caught something pretty interesting...the new tribe flags were already in position when Jeff summoned the tribes in with his traditional "come on in guys." So the fact that they acted so surprised about a merge was actually decent acting on their parts unless they really didn't notice the new tribe names on the flags which is possible . Did you notice how white Spencer was and that he has an odd pit in the center of  his chest?  Did you also notice how absolutely disgusting Sarah's pink bra/top is? The nipple area is just vile. Can't she wash that thing out? Ewwww. Not sure what's worse, Sarah's nasty nipple stains or Trish flirting with LJ. Tribal was a horror, not because Cliff was blindsided but because of the torrential rain. Jeff tried to just continue on with his tribal manipulation like it wasn't even raining. it was coming down so hard that the drops were in everyones eyes, their clothes were soaked, there was lightning and thunder and yet no acknowledgement of the rain at all.

THE OTHER STUFF

-The Walking Dead is coming to broadcast TV on MyNetwork this Fall.  Here in NY you'll be able to see it on channel 9. Not sure what night or time, but for anyone who doesn't have AMC, or who hasn't gotten on the zombie bandwagon yet, another shot is coming your way soon.

-When SNL comes back on 3/29, Louis CK will be LIVE FROM NY, then it's Anna Kendrick making her SNL debut...she could be good...I have a feeling about her. Then...Seth Rogen will be back on 4/12 for his 3rd shot. I don't remember his other 2 but I'm betting Seth doesn't either.

-Leave it to Netflix to continue to surprise us with its programming choices. This one's got me very interested. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin together (again) in a comedy created by Marta Kauffman who created Friends.  Remember them in 9 to 5? Damn that was a good movie. Here's a trivia question...what was their characters names in the movie?

-The last time Billy Crystal did a TV series was in 1977 when he was on Soap (remember his characters name? 10 points if you do).  Well...he's coming back to FX 38 years later with Josh Gad in a show from Sweden called The Comedians. In reading about the premise it sounds a bit like a Larry Sanders type deal. Could be decent.

-NBC renewed Grimm, Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, Parks & Rec and Celebrity Apprentice (which is actually a surprise to me) yesterday, no news on Parenthood yet.  PLEASE NBC...PLEASE keep my Braverman on TV...I'm begging!!!
