THE SHOWS
Pretty Little Liars
Last night, I think I may have won the Aunt of the Year award as I took my nieces to a table reading and screening of the Pretty Little Liars Spring finale. The screaming in the audience was on par to that of a Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers concert but not as loud as a Bieber one. Shockingly, I don't normally watch Pretty Little Liars, so I was a bit lost and not as flipped out by the big reveals and season ending cliffhanger as my nieces or the audience members, but it was pretty good regardless. Some pretty cheesy/funny lines like "I can't believe you're Mom buried you alive" but hey...the girls loved it. ABC Family had huge screens showing the live Twitter action as they were hoping to break their own record. For the East Coast feed, pretty sure it was close to 1.2 million tweets when we left, but I'll have the numbers later today. After the show, we went up to the Social Media room and met the cast. Again, I had no idea who they were but the nieces were dying. Photos, autographs, the works. Great night. So...thank you to my friends at ABC Family.
The Goldbergs
I got home in time to watch one show before bedtime and of course it was my Goldbergs. Beverly Goldberg was at it again. This time she messed with the wrong thing...Murray's chair! Apparently Bev secretly swaps many things so the family won't notice but how could she think Murray wouldn't notice his fave chair missing? Once she messed with his chair, it was war. Murray replaced the stove with a new magic box, aka, microwave that had everyone BUT Bev in awe. Pops had a good one..." I just heated up a lasagna in the time it took for your relationship to collapse." Ahhh the microwave, it still saves my life on a regular basis. Then Bev replaced Murray's Tighty Whitey's with boxers and Murray went for her AquaNet. Nobody likes change, but once Murray caught Bev and she admitted that she didn't swap chairs for the sake of Murray's back but for the sake of her stylish for the 80's living room, she just had to get it back from the frat house who coincidently bought it from Good Will and got attached to it in a day and half. She cleaned their place and got the chair back and made her husband very happy. While all that was going on, Adam was getting bullied by JC Spink on the school bus. He convinced Barry the Bad Ass who was murdering the mailbox because his Sports Illustrated football phone hadn't arrived yet to help his little bro out. Barry starting riding the bus and ended up letting all that power go to his head and became a bully himself. Adam got the bus kids together, kicked Barry to the curb and got JC's respect at the same time. Loved the hyper color T-shirt that didn't work that well at the time, the Garbage Pail Kids cards and most of all...loved that song. Name it for 10 points.

THE OTHER STUFF
-Not sure how many of you read every single part of this blog, or have the ability to remember any of my recommendations, but a while ago, I did recommend a series on YouTube called Blue. It's part of the WIGS franchise and stars Julia Stiles. It was a bunch of 6-8 minute episodes and I was really enjoying them. Apparently, Season 3 will be available on Hulu starting 3/28 but they'll be 4 longer form, more tradtional length videos. To date, the Blue shows have generated 43 million YouTube views which is pretty impressive for a show most people have never heard of.
-Sad news for Scott Baio...See Dad Run won't be back for a 4th season. I think we need another Scott Baio reality show instead. I enjoyed him on his old ones. I'm sure he's still got Charles in Charge money and doesn't need to worry at all, but he does have a kid and college is expensive.
-Supposedly, Drew Carey and Craig Ferguson will be job swapping on April Fools Day. Drew doing Craig's job's probably is pretty easy for him. Not sure if Craig can adjust as easily but could be fun. Do they still say, "Kristy Carruba COME ON DOWN?" I don't watch either show. I wonder if the 65+ audience of the Price is Right will think they better call their doctors or something when they see Craig instead of Drew giving away a new refrigerator that sells at a retail value of $1299. Craig's audience will probably just think they smoked too much weed.
-Chris Martin's going to be one of the mentors on The Voice. Maybe Apple and Moses will show up in the audience for some of the live shows. I'm assuming that's the only reason he's agreed to mentor. It just doesn't seem like something he'd normally do. He's usually super private and not in the spotlight at all except when he's on stage. Wait...is there a new Coldplay album coming out?
