THE SHOWS
We were all over the place last night, Jimmy Kimmel's pre-game, NBA Finals, Yankee game, Met game, Married at First Sight and the Chrisley's. It was pretty crazy.
Married at First Sight
What a NIGHT! What an enjoyable finale! I just want to pat myself on the back for a minute. I posted my predictions on Facebook prior to the start of the show and I was 3 for 3, 100% correct! Before I reveal who got married and who stayed divorced, lets discuss a few things. My main obsession was Sean. Let's face it, he's a weak, gay man who spoke a lot like a robot. I was super surprised that he slammmmmed Davina. She was blindsided by a lot of the mean things he said and she was pissed. If I were Sean, after I hit the West Village, I'd get out of NYC fast and never come back. I loved seeing them split up the little bit of crap they had accumulated in their fake apartment. You know they both took their boxes of junk and chucked them as soon as they were off camera. I didn't watch Season 1, so I didn't realize that the couples didn't write down their decisions prior to revealing them. I think that should change. Who's to say that the 2nd person to reveal their decision doesn't change their mind once they hear the first person's decision? Soooo, of course Davina and Sean both chose to divorce and of course Ryan and Jessica both chose to stay together. Those were easy ones. The big surprise, my sister's friend, Jacklyn and Ryan both chose to stay together. While I did predict that one on Facebook, it was a prediction out of hope, but I assumed I'd be wrong on that one. Added bonus...REUNION special next week. We get a 6 month update on our couples. You know it's going to be all Davina and Sean going at it. Wouldn't it be cool if someone was pregnant and wouldn't it be even cooler if Sean brought his new boyfriend?
Chrisley Knows Best
Definitely feeling this season way more scripted and contrived than in the seasons past. Last night's first episode had Todd & Chase went up against Julie and Savannah for the best ACT score. If Chase won, he'd get a puppy. If Savannah won, she'd get to graduate high school early and go to college. Todd was stressing big time about them both leaving home which was cute. What wasn't cute...Grayson. He's the most annoying kid since Luke on Modern Family. Of course Savannah beat Chase but there's no way I'm buying that anyone finds out their scores a week after they take the test. No way. Not even if you're on a reality show. 2nd episode of the night had Julie and Todd celebrating Valentines Day. I'm becoming a bit obsessed with Julie. She's not super thin, she's sort of chubby I guess, but she's probably one of the most beautiful chubby women I've ever seen. I love her hair, and her clothes and she always looks so cute. She doesn't seem to ever watch her weight, she supposedly "power walks" but that's really all she does to keep herself looking so super cute and chubsy. Todd took over Savannah's friend Leah's Twitter account and Catfished Chase. Funny but again, a bit too contrived. While all that tomfoolery was going on, Faye, Todd's Mom, started her own AirBnB. I had a hard time believing that one. Now that I have been watching unREAL, I'm pretty cynical.

THE OTHER STUFF
-What do you make of this program description?
Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, George Foreman and Jeff Dye (who???) go on an "epic adventure throughout Asia in a new alternative comedy series "Better Late Than Never" They will embark on the ultimate excursion with no assistants, limousines or lattes in search of an intimate life-changing experience. The 5 will navigate their way through each city communicating with the local population, immersing themselves in local traditions and enjoying exotic food-all the while dealing with the unexpected twists and turns that any trip presents. As they check off items on their own personal bucket list the five will rely on each other for support and encouragement and in the process demonstrate that friendship is the ultimate gift. WTF is that? I have no clue what kind of a show this is. Is it a reality show? What does "INTIMATE LIFE-CHANGING EXPERIENCE" mean? No premiere date, but now, I'm obsessed with trying to find out more...
Jimmy Kimmel sent Guillermo to the NBA Finals media day again. As usual...hilarious. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfZIvaHu2xI
Teen Nick cancelled Degrassi cancelled after 14 seasons. To be honest it's the only high school show I never got into. It started in the 80's when I was partying in high school and college and starting my life, so I couldn't tell you one character on the show, one storyline, nada. I know there were some controversial topics because I remember having to deal with complaint letters from crazy people a while ago, but I personally have never seen the show. For those of you that have watched, and have wondered what was going on with it...it's coming back next year to Netflix. Anyone totally stoked with that news?
Wednesday's ABOUT LAST NIGHT Trivia Question:
1) Which team won game 3 of the NBA Finals?
2) Chris Heston of the San Francisco Giants did WHAT last night?
3) Who was Jimmy Kimmel's guest on his NBA Pre-Game special
4) Name the 4 judges on America's Got Talent last night.
