THE SHOWS

Real Housewives of Dallas
So far, through 2 episodes of this one, I'm thinking Dallas is suprisingly boring. Even Brandi the former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader chick is sort of boring. She's trying so hard to stir things up but it just feels forced and scripted. She keeps going to these charity events purely to cause drama. I'm not sure any of these women are into the charity thing for the right reason, maybe it's a Dallas thing? This week it was the Mad Hatter charity event where women (and some flaming gay men) wore crazy hats to raise money for something and it wasn't even Easter. Brandi put fake dog poop on hers and called it the "Poop in the Park" hat. Ehhh wasn't THAT funny. Neither was taking a piece of the fake poop and putting it on Leeanne's chair. I get it, Leeanne's annoying so she's a great target but still...not that funny.  I don't understand Leanne's charity obsession at all. It's very apparent she really doesn't fit in and her cop BF is never going to marry her if all she talks about is charity events. I think the thing I'm most obsessed with in this show is Tiffany's husband, the Keith Urban doppelganger/wannabe, Aaron. Maybe the reason his music career's not going anywhere is because the world already has an Australianish dude with weird hair who's married to a hot actress? I don't know how he's not seeing this. Moving back to LA won't make it better, dude. Find the real non-Keith Urban you and maybe you'll find that record deal.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion Part 1
If I counted right, we had 5 women crying and 2 walk-outs in Part 1 of the RHOBH reunion. I'd call that a success. Erica Jayne taught everyone her "Pat the Puss" moves, Yolanda admitted that her illness was a major reason why she and David got divorced but it sounded to me like they had a huge fight one night and that was it. Seemed to me she was just as surprised as we all were and definitely didn't see it coming. The entire Kathryn/Kyle/Faye Resnick thing which was a blip in the season was a big thing on the reunion for some reason and we got an interesting little nugget out of it...Kathryn and Marcus Allen were married at OJ's house. The entire Lisa Rinna/Lisa Vanderpump thing was out of control. Either Rinna is a lunatic or LVP is the best liar I've ever seen. Shout out to Kyle Richards for her boobs. I'd say she beat out Erica last night for best dressed. 2 more weeks of reunion to come lets see how many more tears will be shed and how many more dramatic housewife walk-outs will go down.

Dice
HILARIOUS episode of Dice over the weekend. I'm still way behind and still trying to catch up on everything in my TiVO. I have NEVER been an Adrien Brody fan but he deserves some sort of Emmy for his guest appearance. The premise was that Adrien wanted to become Dice for a play he was doing. He's a method actor and went to Dice for help. By the end of the episode, Brody WAS Dice. It was amazing and laugh-out-loud funny. Brody had Dice DOWN! The voice, the mannerisms, the twitches, all of it. Anyone see it? Catch it if you can.

THE OTHER STUFF

If you follow me on Facebook and Twitter then you would have heard the shocking news about Michael Strahan leaving Kelly and heading to GMA full time within seconds of it's announcement yesterday. I gotta say, I was truly surprised by this one. Didn't see it coming at all. Of course every website's now asking us all who should replace Michael Strahan and of course we all have ideas, but if you recall, it took 10 months for Gelman and team to hire Regis's replacement and we all really enjoyed the rotating hosts during that time. I was new to blogging then but looking back at my old posts, I was pretty consumed with the rotating hosts. I enjoyed the on-air interview process. Of course, I have some favorites like Neil Patrick Harris, Anderson Cooper, Alec Baldwin, Rob Lowe and Josh Groban. Kelly's husband, Mark is always great on the show but probably not a good idea for their marriage. There were tons of other great hosts but after Fred Savages first appearance last week, I really think he'd be a great candidate. Lets face it, as much as I love The Grinder, the chances of it getting renewed are slim. If it doesn't Fred will need a job. Hope Fred left his number with Gelman before he headed home. Lots more to come on this one I'm sure.

Wednesday's Trivia Question: Fred Savage on the brain...we all know he played Kevin Arnold on The Wonder Years. What was the name of Kevin's BFF on the show? What was the name of Kevin's brother and sister on the show?
