Final number for Sunday night Cable programming aren't in yet, but we do know that 6.3 million viewers watched Game of Thrones live. That's down 5% from the premiere but still the second most watched episode ever and anyone that missed it has probably watched it already.

Probably directly related, Mad Men's final season premiere was seen by only 2.3 million viewers down 32% from last years season premiere. It was the lowest rated season premiere since the 2nd season in 2008. Note to network executives TV, I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but…there are 6 other nights!!!! There was SO much on this past Sunday give your shows a chance and give us all a break!

THE SHOWS
Dallas Season Finale
First Sunday's Game of Thrones and now the Dallas finale? Writers are having a field day and we're all reaping the benefits. I was thinking yeah, maybe now that Christopher got rid of the beard, he'd man up and get some b*lls. That didn't happen. For some reason, he wants the agita of some poor chick, her lunatic ex-husband, and their kid? Come on, he's Christopher Ewing. What a tool. Mama Ryland was sooooper creepy. Harris had to be a freak of a husband with a Mom like her. We know what kind of father he is. Can't believe he kissed Annie and she liked it. You could tell. She went over there because Bobby found out about her slutty, horny daughter and kicked her out of South Fork. Like Mother like daughter I suppose. Good thing too, Southfork's on fire thanks to Heather's ex. Of course Bobby, Christopher and a wasted Sue Ellen are inside the burning building. Who lives? That's cliffhanger part 1. Pamela found out about John Ross and Emma and knows how to use the Find My Iphone App pretty well. We ALLLLL thought that she was going over to the hotel to kill John Ross or Emma or both of them but that's not AT ALL what happened! What did happen you ask? THREESOME!!! And for TNT they sure showed an awful lot of it. I think John Ross's head exploded at the exact same time mine did. Perfect night right…wrong! Right in the middle of everything, Pamela starts convulsing. Intentional? Accidental? We won't know until August when I'm on the beaches of LBI on vacation and this crazy show returns. Good job writers!

Silicon Valley
It really sucks that all of these geeky guys are so unattractive. The story is pretty good but I find myself wandering over to my phone looking for some kind of candy. If there isn't any man candy on the screen, Candy Crush candy is a good substitute. For smart guys, they sure don't know anything at all about running a business, banking, business plans and that a prostitute requires payment when she shows up at your house. I'm sticking with this one, but only because it's a half hour and easy to shove in between other things.

Lindsay
Thank god there is only one more episode of this show left because I honestly can't take the stress of watching Lindsay Lohan any longer. I am obsessed with being on time. OBSESSED. Nobody in my family is EVER late. As far as I can tell, Lindsay has NOTHING to do but SHOW UP on time and GET PAID. She couldn't manage to do that at all for the entire series. Foxwoods Casino paid her $100,000 bucks for 2 hours on Halloween and she was an hour late. Are you freaking kidding me? Elle Indonesia's staff flew for 2 days for a photo shoot that was supposed to be one day. It ended up taking 3 days and was basically incomplete. WTF is wrong with this girl? Why can't Matt who's on the payroll, get her ass out of bed and to work. I just can't even comprehend the insanity, the disrespectfulness and the chaos. No idea who cleaned and organized the apartment, but I'm guessing it was OWN's people, not Lindsay's. She's surrounded by freaks and wackos, including her family. Good Luck Lindsay, you're going to need it to get your act together. What a HOT MESS.

THE OTHER STUFF

-I hope you're all caught up on Orphan Black and ready for this Saturday's 2nd season premiere. If you haven't, you better get on it…fast!  BBC America. Homework.

-USA renewed Chrisley Knows Best. I've never seen it and have no idea who Chrisley is and whether or not she/he really does know best or not.

Tuesday's Trivia Question: I used to LOVE the show Picket Fences. I woke up this morning trying to remember what some of the cast members names were.  Do you remember the Sheriff and his wife the doctor? What were their names?

-Final numbers are not in yet for Sunday night, but Game of Thrones season premiere was seen by 6.6 million viewers which was the most watched program on HBO since The Sopranos series finale in 2007. Including the 2 encores, the premiere was seen by 8.2 million viewers so far. This doesn't count the HBO GO App which crashed Sunday night, so I'm thinking there were WAY more viewers and betting more throughout the week. I guess I wasn't the only one who was glad it was back. Anyone do the marathon?

-Considering everything else that was airing Sunday night, the 2.1 million viewers for the premiere of Turn on AMC wasn't bad. With the encore, 3 million total viewers checked it out, but only 669,000 A18-49. Did anyone watch it? I was considering it, but I have so much on Sunday nights as it is. Let me know if I need to get on this one.

THE SHOWS

I got home late last night and I admit right now that I was live streaming the last concert at Roseland at the same time I was watching Dallas. Lady Gaga performed and Verizon sponsored the show, so I had to check it out. Gaga was good, exactly what I thought she would be. Whenever I watch anything we sponsor I watch nervously hoping all goes well. The good news is that there was no vomit to speak of, nothing completely crazy happened at all which was a huge relief. Not sure if she should have been the final act at such a historic venue, but she did a great show, the Little Monsters were happy and the streaming experience was perfect.

Dallas
Nothing super juicy happened on Dallas last night. Bobby got Sue Ellen out of the looney bin in turn for  her support to vote against John Ross. John Ross fired Candace, his admin with the huge cleavage, who was secretly working for Ryland. Emma, John Ross's mistress? She's not really his mistress, he's sleeping with her but he def doesn't like or love her, he just needs her. So not sure what that makes her, but anyway, Emma found out that Candace was working for her Dad and then found out that he wanted her to "Monica Lewinsky" John Ross.  I'm pretty sure that now that Candace has been let go, Emma's taking the job pretty seriously. Christopher finally found his b*lls again and beat the crap out of Drew for killing his unborn twins. Nice to see Christopher still has it in him. John Ross played poker with a Shiek for business purposes. Not sure why Scarface had to buy him into the game with her antique earrings, I mean they are Ewings right? They have billions. Maybe they don't like to carry cash? John Ross threw the game, lost the earrings and JR's ugly watch but he got what he needed out of the sheik. No shirts off this week which always bums me out.

Lindsay
She's seriously a massive, super hot mess. Even AJ her life coach, quit. I hope she's watching her own show and seeing what a completely out of touch whack job she really is. She went to LA specifically to meet with executives and woke up too late to go to the meetings. What I don't understand is how she oversleeps at all when she has a personal assistant that she pays to wake her ass up. How does that happen and why is she so tired that she has to sleep til noon everyday?  The moving situation was also RIDICULOUS. I am EXTREMELY organized, so seeing all the moving boxes coming and going and sitting and moving around from to room and then getting put back on the truck and not getting unpacked, was enough for me to want to delete the Season Pass from my Tivo, but next weeks episode looks crazier than this weeks, so of course I didn't delete the Season Pass and will be tuning in.

Oprah
Rob Lowe's new book LOVE LIFE, is out today. I've downloaded it and can't wait to read it. Oprah did an hour with him on Sunday Night, but I couldn't get to it until this morning. I don't think the interview was anything close to an hour, I didn't count, but there seemed to be a TON of commercials which is a shame because Rob's actually a really interesting guy. He's really smart and has really great stories to tell. He's lived a crazy cool life hasn't he? Of course he's also still way too good looking. Rob turned 50 and to be honest, he's never looked better. He's aging beautifully and I while I've never fallen out of love since the days of his Tiger Beat pictures hanging all over my walls, every time I see him I love him just a little bit more. I'll let you know how the book is as soon as I finish.

THE OTHER STUFF

-Still no word on Letterman's last day, but Barbara Walters last day on The View will be 5/16.  They haven't announced if they'll replace her and if they are, who they're replacing her with. Of course the list of candidates for Letterman's replacement is getting longer by the minute. Who would you like to see?

-I'm still to scared to watch Bates Motel, but for all of you guys that like the scary stuff,  good news, the show was renewed by A&E for a 3rd season.

Tuesday's Trivia Question: What was Rob Lowe's characters name in Brothers & Sisters?

THE SHOWS

Glee
I guess there's just no more adults, no more Lima, no more McKinley. Everyone's in NYC together.  I got nervous that they were back to singing songs nobody would know or care about when the first song was "Downtown" and the second one was "You Make Me Feel So Young," but they got back on track with Imagine Dragons and Great Big World but I still blipped through "People" at the end.  Rachel's gotten to be THE most annoying person on television. I don't like anything about her anymore. NOTHING. Blaine's smothering Kurt and cooking breakfast in a wife beater, boxers and loafers. Not a great look at all. Adam Lambert's a great therapist and Sam finally got cute again. Mercedes is back because she NEEDS to be in NYC and everyone's living in 2 apartments. I really am ready for Glee to be O…V…E…R.

The Goldbergs
Not the BEST episode of the season, but even a mediocre episode of The Goldbergs leaves me with that stupid smile on my face. Remember the Presidential Fitness Test? The one Reagan and Ahhhnold made us take? Yeah I do too. UGH. Adam wanted a note from home so he didn't have to do those pull-ups and you know Bev Goldberg. She'll do ANYTHING for her son. If that meant getting a note from Reagan himself, she'd do it. So she hit the capitol and annoyed the COMPtroller so much that she was able to get something with a presidential seal on it getting out of the test but Murray got Adam to do that pull-up and Adam got Murray to swim.  This week it was actually the Erica/Barry/French pen pal story that got the most laughs. Erica had Barry saying crazy stuff in French, mainly about cat farts. It was funny, but ya had to be there. Did you catch the cereal Barry was eating? 10 points if you did and of course 10 points for the song! Oh...the COMPtroller was right COMPtrol...isn't a word.

Dallas
It's all about John Ross. Everyone keeps telling this guy that he's just like his Daddy and while we see glimpses of good, we are seeing him become his Dad right before our own eyes. He's making enemies all over the place. Inside the family, outside the family doesn't really matter. Problem is that when you have enemies you have to be SO careful and John Ross isn't that careful. There are cameras everywhere and one of um caught him going down on Emma. Sure he really didn't want to do it, but she's a crazy horny b*tch and blackmail makes for interesting bedfellows, so down he went. Just because he was being blackmailed didn't mean he couldn't turn the tables and do some of his own. He had some photos of a judge in a whorehouse and used them to commit his Mom to a looney bin, getting her shares and voting to take the company public just so he could have controlling interest of the company. Poor Sue Ellen. I could have told her from that first flask alert that she'd be stumbling around her house in a couple of episodes. What I don't get is why Bobby and Christopher always look so shocked by what goes on with John Ross. Jesse Metcalf's so good looking but his character is SO boring that I just skip past any scenes with him in them now. Anna Lyn McCord, her kid, her husband. Come on Christopher...get some b*lls!

Resurrection
I'm still watching. So far, just like The Returned, not a lot of answers. Just more questions, more dead people turning up and more freaked out towns people. The creep factor's not too bad yet, but I still feel like it's going to get there and I'm going to bail just like I did with The Returned. All the dead people aren't sleeping and their still eating their loved ones out of house and home but not much else. Turns out that the pastors ex who just came back committed suicide so that was something different, but again, no answers as to why they're all coming back and what their plan is. If they are aliens I'm out. Just sayin.

Chasing Maria Menounos
It's only 22 minutes, it's easy to watch and it's just so nuts. Maria's father is obsessed with Maria marrying a Greek guy. Maria's been with Keven (I hate the way he spells his name) for 16 years. This guy seems to good to be true. (So did Dean McDermott and look what happened with him) He does everything for Maria, EVERYTHING. He even has no issues with Maria's parents living in their home with them. Keven's a saint. He's even decided to convert to Greek Orthodox for her.  Now the hard part…telling his Mom.  A Roman Catholic Italian Mom. She's going to freak out next week if he gets the b*lls to tell her.

Cougar Town Season Finale
There's something about Cougar Town that I really enjoy. It's not the best sitcom ever made or anything, but it's a lot cuter and funnier than people give it credit for. Maybe now that we all need a new "gang" to hang out with, we should take a look at the Cougar Town gang with an open mind. Sure they're a bunch of over drinkers who barely work at all, but they're sweet and you actually feel the love and devotion they have for each other. Maybe I'm just feeling sentimental. It's been an emotional few days between The Good Wife, How I Met Your Mother and Lindsay Lohan. In the season ender, Jules had her yearly physical and borrowed Laurie's pee for obvious reasons. When the doctor called telling Jules that she/Laurie was pregnant, she had to find a way to break the news. Nobody seemed to be too upset that Travis knocked Laurie up. The guy doesn't have a job and he's only 22 years old, but since Jules was his age when she got married and had Travis, all seemed right in the world. So I guess next season's finale will include a wacky birth episode.

THE OTHER STUFF

-Yesterday was April 1st, so I wasn't sure if the Michael Strahan story was true. I hate posting anything that isn't confirmed but supposedly Michael will be doing double duty. Good Morning America and Live with Kelly and Michael.  Nobody really knows exactly WHAT he'll be doing over there, but with Josh and Sam gone they need a guy and they need one fast. Michael's a guy and he's geographically convenient to boot. I say spend a year with rotating guests hosts like Kelly did. That might get the ratings up. Worked for Kelly.

-Are you guys 24 fans? I was when it was on. I don't think I watched the last season, but I don't remember why. For anyone who has never watched 24, now's your chance. The show is now available on Amazon Prime. Jack Bauer is one of the best characters ever. He's pretty much indestructible, he never eats, sleeps or goes to the bathroom and is still able to save the world from evil forces in 24 hours.  I think I may add 24 to the Binge List. Check it out.

-Comedy Central launched it's Watch App yesterday. I haven't downloaded it yet, but it does have full episodes of The Daily Show, Colbert, South Park and more. I don't have time to be a devoted Daily Show disciple and I'm really not a news person at all, but I've always enjoyed Jon Stewart so maybe this will be a way I can stay closer to him.

-It's at least a year away, and I rarely write about shows until they're actually on the air, but Netflix is about to start production on a 10 episode drama called Narcos. It's a story of Pablo Escobar and the rise of the Medellin drug cartel. No idea at all who is starring in it, but it's got great people and Netflix behind it and I'm calling it now…this is going to be a JUICY one!

-I can't remember if I've every written about Friday Night Tykes. If I haven't, I apologize. I should have it's worth mentioning and was renewed by Esquire for a 2nd season. These coaches aren't at all like Coach Eric Taylor and sometimes it's hard to watch, but it's compelling enough to suck you in.

-Okay for those of us that are Game of Thrones fans, Sunday night can't get here fast enough. For anyone who has wanted to jump on the GOT bandwagon, here's your chance. Of course you have to call in sick to work on Friday and blow off all of Saturday and Sunday's plans,  but if you're up for the challenge, get your snacks, get comfortable and turn on HBO2 at 9am Friday morning for a Game of Thrones marathon. All 3 seasons, in a row an you'll be done in time for the start of Season 4. If I could…I would, but I've got a busy weekend already. If anyone does it…let me know.

Wanna know how much time you've spent watching so much TV? Check out this website. It calculates it and makes you feel like a big loser. I gave up pretty fast mainly because you have to type in the shows. There isn't a list to pick from. It's still eye opening and unsettling which is why I got out fast. http://tiii.me/

Wednesday's Trivia Question: I'm being asked for an EASY non How I Met Your Mother trivia question…Easy one:  Name the NFL Team Michael Strahan played for. Harder one...what was his number.

THE SHOWS
How I Met Your Mother
Only 60 minutes left...that's it. Did I feel this way when Friends ended? I don't remember. I think I might have. Anyway, lots of cheesy sentimentality during last nights penultimate episode of How I Met Your Mother. (OMG...did I just use penultimate correctly?)  The good news is that after Barney freaked out about 1) his vows, 2) Marshall and Lily's inability to keep theirs, and 3) his choice for a dark blue tie instead of the cornflower blue tie, he made it to the church on time where he freaked out again about the tie and Marshall slapped him with the 5th and final slap.  Robin freaked out, got her locket back, questioned Ted over Barney, ran for the hills, knocked over Mom, and took 3 deep breaths, but she too made it to the church on time. Barney vowed to tell the truth and that included that it was Ted and not him who found her locket.  He was still Barney though, he did get an actual ring BEAR.  I was kinda hoping he would do that.  I sort of wondered who all those people were at the wedding since our pals didn't really spend any time with any of them over the past 9 years. I mean other than Lily, Robin's only bridesmaid was Patrice?  One thing I have to mention. I know I always focus on this stuff, but I'm pretty sure that you could see Robin's nipples through her wedding dress. Am I crazy? Go back and freeze frame it. I think I'm right.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion-Part 2
More of the same old same old. Lots of yelling, lots of fighting, lots of disrespect. I gotta give Lisa credit though, these women all went after her and she remained pretty calm and never really got rattled. Kim's just an emotional bipolar wreck. The Kyle/Carlton thing is so weird, I don't even know how anyone can just not like Kyle, I mean she's harmless. Loved the airquotes when Andy referred to Carlton's "witchcraft."  I'm still not sure I understood her explanation at all. She's ridiculous and scary in every way. One more week of them and finally a Real Housewives break for me. I'm ready.

Dallas
Some great advice from grandma..."A whore who gives without receiving is not just a whore but a fool." Judith Light is scarier and meaner than J.R. ever was. She's the best new villain out there. I know John Ross is trying to be better (and worse) than his dad, but he's just too pretty and trying too hard. Between Emma, her grandma and his own Mom who totally screwed him that boy better look out. Sue Ellen maybe be hitting the flask but she's still able to blackmail with the best of um. Didn't see the railroad commissioner thing coming at all. Brilliant move. I really need Christopher to dump Anna Lyn McCord and now that he knows she has a kid and ex-husband he really needs to run fast or it's only going to get worse.

THE OTHER STUFF

-Screw Best Picture and Best Actor, don't you really want to know who won Most Memorable Outfit or Most Shocking Reunion? Bravo announced their Real Housewives Awards yesterday and the winners are:
  • Best Supporting Agitator: Kim D
  • Most Memorable Outfit: Kenya’s Phaedra Outfit
  • Rookie of the Year: Kenya Moore
  • Most Shocking Reunion Twist: Briana's Revelations About Brooks
  • Party of the Year: NeNe's Pillow Talk Party
  • Favorite Quote:  Lisa Vanderpump’s, “This is too bitchy I shouldn’t say it – but I’m awfully glad I did.”
  • OMG-est Moment of the Year: Joe-vs-Joe in Lake George
  • Best Fight Locale: A Bridal Shop
  • Loveliest Locks (Sponsored by Suave Professionals Natural Infusion): Joyce
  • Outstanding Achievement in Extremely Short Form Live Action: Kim “Faints”
  • Favorite Real Housewives City (Launched exclusively on Facebook): Beverly Hills

-ABC didn't waste much time naming Anne Sweeney's replacement...Ben Sherwood, ABC News President will be taking the helm. Congrats to Ben who's pretty much responsible for turning GMA around and taking over the number one spot in early morning news. What I also learned about Ben is that he wrote Charlie St. Cloud the book that the Zac Efron movie was based on

-Last season's American Horror Story photo was scary enough. Now that the new season's been officially called Freak Show, I can only imagine that poster. Here's last years: http://www.thewrap.com/american-horror-story-season-4-title-revealed/

-I've been meaning to post this "Jimmy" chart from The Wrap for a few days now. It compares the Jimmy's ratings and social stats. I've been comparing the Jimmy's a lot lately. I DVR them both and honestly, I love them both in different ways. Both of their shows are enjoyable and funny. While there are some similarities, like the suit, the tie, the monologue, the desk, the band and the sidekick, that's where it ends. My love for Jimmy Fallon isn't a sexual thing, I just really believe that if I met Jimmy Fallon in college or through friends or at a Blockbuster Video store where we both grab the last Goonies video, that we'd start joking about Bran and Data and just end up hanging out all night talking and laughing.  I just feel this weird connection in our love of similar things.  While I love Jimmy and think he's amazing I do know he isn't perfect. His interviewing style is a bit cheesy. He's not edgy, confrontational or tough with his guests. He never throws curveballs at anyone and he seems to love everyone and call them all "pal". He called me "pal" when he met me. I accept it all because I know that it's just Jimmy being Jimmy. Now...Jimmy Kimmel isn't musical like Jimmy Fallon and he definitely doesn't love everyone. He is actually a much more interesting interviewer.  He has the ability to be confrontational and get to the tough stuff while being funny at the same time. His show is edgier, more in your face and a bit more twisted. They both offer something different. Who's your favorite Jimmy?

THE SHOWS
How I Met Your Mother
I've never been a big fan of the curly fry, accidental or intentional. Apparently Marshall,Ted and Barney all agree that the dream is for one curly fry to make a surprise guest appearance in a traditional fry order. On the miraculous occasion of this occurrence, Gary Blauman, Tarran Killam from SNL, snapped up Barney's accidental fry which was cause for annihilation, but Marshall used his judging skills and concluded that Gary Blauman WOULD be a guest at the wedding because that's what the bride wanted.  What we didn't know was that Gary was gay, slept with Wayne Brady, was attracted to Ted, and talked Lily out of the other half of a butterfly tattoo we didn't know she had. We heard the Gary Blauman story for the first time along with Mom who heard it falling for Ted on their first date/walk after the wedding when they couldn't get in to the Scottish Mexican Fusion place near her apartment. For the record, I did Google it and there isn't one in NYC that I can find, just in case you're interested in a haggis enchilada. Future Ted did fill us all in on where some past characters end up in the future. They are as follows:

Carl's still behind the bar at McLarens
Janette and Kevin ended up together and are living in Poughkeepsie I think
Ranjeet made it big in the stock market, bought the limo company and now has his own driver named Bitterman (10 point bonus reference)
Patrice is doing a drive time radio show
William Zabka  won a poetry award
Zoey's still an activist
Scooter's married to a Lily look-a-like named Jasmine
Glitz gave up gambling and survived a plane crash but was Lost on a deserted island
Blah Blah's name was Carol
Sandy Rivers is on the air and offending Russians and
James got back with Tom who's the Queer Eye For the Straight  Guy guy

But more important than all of that...Mom and Ted kissed...I think it was their first kiss, but not 100% sure since I don't know what happened at the wedding...yet. Only 2 more episodes and 1 slap left people. I'm going to miss these guys.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion-PART 1
What was up with Brandi's nose? Was it new? NewER?
When you edit all of the Kim stuff into a 60 second clip, she ends up looking kookier than ever. When you edit all of the Brandi/Joyce stuff together Brandi ends up looking meaner than ever. All the edits in the world try to make Lisa look bad and yet through it all, I still love her. Joyce's comment about Brandi making out with an old guy with her tampon hanging out made me gag. I used to really enjoy Brandi, but she's really a hot mess who I've come to dislike quite a bit. I was really hoping that Kim, Kingsley and Jimmy MacNichol had gotten together, but so far that reality shows not in production. Nothing super crazy in PART 1 of the reunion, but we still have 2 more parts to go. I'm betting crazy comes...

Dallas
John Ross sure got a lot done on his wedding day. Sure he was a little late to say his vows,  but he was able to have sex with his wife-to-be, tell off his mistress, have a meeting with his mistresses father who was in need of a file, made up with his mistress, got the file (but got set up for some incriminating photos in the process) got a disk of the railroad commission involved in bizarre naked puppy party, got back to the wedding, got slapped by his mother-in-law, got blackmailed by his drunk mother, blackmailed her back, pissed off his sober uncle and still married the woman he's already married to and had sex with her again before passing out for the night. Pretty busy guy, guess he's got no time for Dancing with the Stars, huh?  Emma was the only one alone who ended the evening alone. Christopher was literally rolling in the hay with his new waitress friend, Elena was with Joaquin and Sue Ellen's cuddled up with her flask. Ryland's Mom, Angela Bauer's not just a mean lunatic, apparently she's also a big time Dallas madam. Who knew? 10 points if you know John Ross's drink of choice.

THE OTHER STUFF

-Not that I would ever watch American Horror Story because it's SOOOO scary, but next season's going to take place at a carnival which means clowns. I HATE CLOWNS! That automatically means even creepier and even scarier commercials for the show. I am already nervous about seeing them during the final season of Sons of Anarchy and having nightmares.

-Who's watching Banshee? Should I go back and give that one another shot? I didn't love it at all but I only gave it 2 episodes. Did I give up too fast?

-ABC Family renewed Melissa & Joey and Baby Daddy for one more season now Anthony Russo needs a show and Nick can breathe a huge sigh of relief. (Get the reference?)

-We all LOVED Sharknado and can't wait for the sequel this Summer, but in the mean time, Syfy's got a new movie coming our way in April called Big Ass Spider. I bet it's awesome. I'll remind you all again when it gets closer.

Tuesday's Trivia Question: Derek Shepherd and Ronald Miller...name the actor.
