THE LYING GAME-ABC Family
-As you know, yesterday we learned that Russell Armstrong, ex-husband of REAL
HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS's Taylor Armstrong, committed suicide. Bravo has
expressed their feelings and condolences to Taylor and her daughter Kennedy but is in
the midst of trying to figure out how to edit and launch the new season of the show
that does in fact include Russell. Touchy issue really. Supposedly, these REAL
HOUSEWIVES shows are "real" so in my opinion they should not edit much, but I also
do think you have to respect Taylor and her daughter during this time in their life. Not
sure what I would do if I were Andy Cohen right now...maybe he should call me and we
can discuss this...Andy, let me know if you don't have my number!
-In between innings of the Yankee game (they won) I did catch up on REAL
HOUSEWIVES OF NJ. I cannot stress enough how much I can't stand Ashley. It seems
to me that she is lucky enough to have 4 pretty caring and decent parents so how in
the world did she turn out so unbelievably selfish, stupid and disrespectful? Was she
just born that way? Is that something I need to worry about now in addition to
everything else I worry about with regard to my son? Is she watching the show and
seeing how EVERYONE in her family, including her cousins, think she is a self centered
loser? Seeing her treat Jacqueline so poorly made me hit the fast forward button (not
buddon). I felt so bad for Jacqueline, she is obviously at her wits end. PLEASE leave
the house and the show Ashley...I can't take much more of you! We did get to meet
Matt and Jody (her Dad and stepmom), though, and this was interesting to me. More
interesting than anything else for me, was the scar on the back of Matt's head. Looked
pretty serious to me...need to do some investigative work to find out more about that.
-The only other show I was able to watch last night was FLIPPING OUT. Again, lose
Gage! He has got to go! The show can only have one mute, starer, and I preferred
Trace to Gage. I googled Stacy Farish the worst human being on the planet (at the
moment that is) to find out something about this nasty woman...and I was a bit
successful. Stacy was a salesperson at the LA TIMES and was promoted to be the VP of
Media and Live Entertainment in 2010 for the paper. She is another one who needs to
be fired and really I think Bravo has angered quite a few loyal viewers at the direction
the show has taken this season. I for one am sticking with it but it is not as much fun
to watch anymore.
