- Speaking of the Glee Project, I have a great way to view this show if you no longer
care about it...just watch the last 7 minutes...you can see the bottom 3 perform for
Ryan Murphy and then who he kicks out...this week, my favorite guy (actually I didn't
have any favorites they are all kinda boring and bland but he was my favorite of the
boring and bland) Cameron, actually quit because he wasn't comfortable with kissing a
co-star or sex of any kind with someone you don't love or know intimately. While I
completely respect him and his beliefs...in the words of Jay Leno...What the heck were
you thinking? Why even get into this competition then? It's ACTING!!!
-SHARK WEEK is here and bigger than ever...my husband was watching it last
night...not my thing at all...but obviously based on the Trendrr numbers, they are a lot
of other peoples thing...maybe later this week some shark trivia.
-Okay, it's official I am SO done with REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NYC...done. The reunion
special last night (part 2) was such an embarrassment and you could see that even
Andy Cohen was disgusted by the women and how they behaved--or should I say didn't
behave. Really a gross display. Wonder how they will feel when nobody cares about
them anymore and they fade into history with the rest of the reality stars that came
and went. Bye bye girls...
-Tried AGAIN to watch CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM...I watched the smiley face episode
and didn't crack a smile and thought it was ridiculous. Not really uncomfortable, but
ridiculous...the cabinet thing was soooo stupid...honestly the entire episode was soooo
stupid. You know things are bad when the best thing you watched all night was ICE
LOVES COCO. Seriously aside from Coach Taylor and Jason Hoppy, I think Ice-T is the
best husband ever...all he wants to do is make his wife happy and Coco seems
relatively easy to please...he keeps her in shoes and tiny bits of fabric, a Rolls Royce
here, a tour bus for her family there...I don't know, I enjoy the Cubes...they are a nice
couple...and they live in Jersey...I should invite them over for sandwiches.
-WEEDS looks like it is back baby! Lots of weed, Halia the grower is back, we have
guns, and Dean Hode too. I think the writers are listening to me and getting back to
basics, focusing on what the Botwin family does best...growing and selling
weed...thank you Jenji Kohan...things are looking up, now please find Conrad and all
will be right with the world.
-What show will run after this year's SUPERBOWL you ask? (you know, the one where
the JETS win it all!)...THE VOICE! I am pretty psyched about this decision...good move
NBC! Then if that wasn't good enough, the new show SMASH (a musical) will debut the
Monday after the SUPERBOWL after THE VOICE. Another good decision...love the
trend and hope it continues!
Say goodbye to Versus and hello to the NBC Sports Network. As part of a its branding
strategy, the NBC Sports Group announced that Versus will be re-named the NBC
Sports Network, complete with a redesigned NBC Sports logo. The changes will begin
on January 2 to maximize exposure, launching the day after the end of the NFL season,
and the day of the NHL Winter Classic.
-Because I LOVE Jason Priestly and always have, I feel the need to support him in
everything he does. (A good wife-even a fake one-supports her husband-even a fake
one-in everything he does...so...a plug for you Jason Priestly: My Fake Husband will
star in the Syfy network's original series HAVEN appearing in four episodes airing this
Friday, August 12, August 19 and September 9 at 10p. My fake husband is such a
renaissance man that he will also direct the September 9th episode. Jason will play
Chris Weekly, a very handsome though anti-social marine biologist who has to deal
with a specific affliction that has everyone loving him and doing anything he wants.
Only Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) is unaffected by Weekly's so-called charms.
-I have never watched THE BACHELORETTE, but this week, Howard Stern is on
vacation so I listened to Scott & Todd on WPLJ who apparently are devoted viewers of
the show. The clips alone of last night's ridiculous finale were enough to confirm my
reasons for not viewing this train wreck. I know so many of you LOVE watching, but
OMG, sounded like a mess...I did enjoy the REO SPEEDWAGON song though...
-JASON BATEMAN alert: He is appearing on THE DAILY SHOW TONIGHT for anyone
who enjoys him as much as I do at the moment.
--I completely forgot that I had a specific trivia question for yesterday...I was so
focused on the horrible episodes of ENTOURAGE that I neglected to include
it...so...yesterday's date was 8/1/11...it was the 30th anniversary of what? If you are a
devoted reader of WWTM, you should know this one.
