I'm baaaack but only for 3 weeks and then vacation again! I love the Summer!
I only watched BIG BROTHER on TV while I was away, but I did see quite a few movies (in the theatre and on my IPAD), a full season of a Canadian show called CALL ME FITZ starring my dream husband Jason Priestly, and the first 3 episodes of a show called THE BOOTH AT THE END on Hulu. When we got home, I did have enough time to catch up on all my shows, plus the awesome Derek Jeter documentary on HBO which I highly recommend, even if you aren’t a Yankee fan.
SO...CALL ME FITZ is a must see. The show is a big hit in Canada airing on HBO there, and got picked up by Direct TV and is currently airing here. I was hoping Showtime or HBO would pick it up, but they didn't, so at this point if you don't have Direct TV you can see the entire first season on Netflix. I know, I know...I am still furious at Netflix but I haven't decided if I am dumping them or not, so in the mean time, I am using them as much as I possible until I make the decision. I am SO getting my monies worth. In case you are interested, CALL ME FITZ is the story of a morally bankrupt car salesman who is forced to become business partners with his inner conscience, an off- beat do gooder intent on healing Fitz's mangled psyche, one disaster at a time.
I read about THE BOOTH AT THE END in Entertainment Weekly. This is a very interesting and different show. Basically the premise is that there is this guy (I presume he is the devil) who sits in a booth at a diner. Different people come in asking for things they want and he provides them a way to get them...deals with the devil if you will...but you never see them do what is asked, you only hear their stories when they come back to let the guy know what has happened. This is all I am willing to say…watch it and let me know what you think.
The first two episodes of ENTOURAGE have been disappointing, I can't handle Ari not in control, confident and with his wife, so that better get rectified quickly. Also, Vince with short hair doesn't work for me. Skinny Turtle, with a job...again not working for me either. I do enjoy Andrew Dice Clay though...always have. Jack and Jill ahhh never mind.
Some quick hits...GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS finale-delightful and I am very happy that I don't have to wait a year til it’s back as they are starting to air season 7 in September...ICE LOVES COCO, I am still watching and I have no idea why...NJ HOUSEWIVES best Christmas ever, I need to move in with either the Gorga's or even the bankrupt Giudices, way better than what goes on at the Carruba's Chrismakuh festivities...CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, I still haven't gone back to watch the last 2 episodes, just don't have it in me.

Nielsen published a report today on what Netflix and Hulu users are watching and how they are watching it. I was surprised that more people weren’t watching on their iPads. While I was not at all surprised to see that hardly anyone watched movies on Hulu, I was a little surprised by how (relatively) few streamed TV.
Seems like I picked a good time to take a week off, not much big news, crazy baby names, or anything fun to discuss so...TRIVIA time:
Monday’s Trivia Question:
