-Wow, America sure does love their football...the numbers for Sunday night prove that,
and I see it in my own house...The EMMY's came in 5th for the night, mainly behind all
other football programming.  Football was triple the EMMY number.  The EMMY's did
deliver a 4.2, 12 million viewers and over a million tweets.  Michael Vick going back to
Atlanta for the first time generated more viewership than all the fabulous dresses,
awkward moments, and acceptance speeches during the night.

-It is going to be hard for me to watch everything during the night it airs this week,
especially because it is my son's birthday and celebrations seem to last a week for this
kid rather than a night so I am apologizing in advance for my need to time shift and
report on some shows later than I would like...Last night however I did get to see the
new episodes of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, 2 1/2 MEN and REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NJ (from Sunday night).  HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER didn't miss a beat...just as good as
always, I knew that Marshall and Lily could never keep their baby a secret and I was
right.  Still, I do really need to know how Ted met the mother of his children soon...it's
just not going to work mathematically if it isn't revealed.  I am betting that 2 1/2 MEN
did great ratings wise.  I wasn't a regular viewer of this show but caught it from time to
time and of course I tuned in last night for the big Ashton Kutscher show.  Everything
we had been reading was true...Charlie is dead, pushed into a train by his girlfriend,
which sounds about right...the funeral featured all the women of his past cracking
jokes.  His Mom tries selling the house.  Then while Alan, Charlie's brother, is having a
moment with Charlie's ashes, Ashton shows up at the door, scares Alan and Charlie's
ashes go all over the place. Ashton plays Walden Schmidt, a billionaire who was
planning on committing suicide but the water was too cold. He and Alan hang out
together and the next the ya know he has a threesome in Charlie's room, comes
downstairs naked in the morning and declares he is buying the house...to be continued.
Honestly...it worked.  I enjoyed it, I enjoyed Ashton Kutscher naked and I will continue
to watch.

-REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NJ was the most ridiculous episode to date.  I was so
embarrassed that these people were representing NJ in Punta Cana...Theresa is just out
of her mind.  She is annoying, rude, over the top and completely delusional.  Between
her crazy bathing suits that she modeled for everyone, her disgusting husband, and the
way she speaks to people...I am SO over her.  I cannot understand how she could
possibly watch this show and be proud of what she sees.  Unbelievable.  I felt so bad
for Kathy Wakilie...she was trying so hard and Theresa was just looking for a fight.  Of
course I will keep watching and finish the season, but honestly, not sure about next
season at this point.

-I didn't see DANCING WITH THE STARS last night, I did Tivo it, because I need to see
Chaz Bono...not sure at this point when I can get to it, but it is on my list of things to
do as soon as I have a minute.    Also didn't see THE PLAYBOY CLUB or the CHARLIE
SHEEN ROAST...the pressure of this week is killing me.  You guys need to weigh in...let
me know what you are watching and what you think and if there is anything I need to
skip!

-Tonight, I am taking my son to the Yankee game for his birthday, so I don't even
know if I will be home in time to watch the season premiere of GLEE or RINGER or
PARENTHOOD or anything else...the stress is freaking me out.

- CBS and Foursquare have unveiled a branded page for the network's reality
competition series, THE AMAZING RACE. When Foursquare users check-in, they will
have access to content that includes travel tips via videos from series host Phil
Keoghan, series trivia and fun facts, and exclusive content from the upcoming season of
the show. I don't watch THE AMAZING RACE anymore, and I don't use Foursquare, but
this is a cool concept in theory.  If memory serves, when I asked all of you if you used
Foursquare I think only 2 people out of 145 were current Foursquare users.

- TV to Bing About" is an integrated marketing campaign between The CW Network,
and Bing to promote The CW's fall lineup across multiple Microsoft channels, CWTV.com
and the network's Facebook page. Videos will go behind-the-scenes with the cast and
crew of the network's popular TV shows. The companies are already grabbing questions
from fans on social media channels to be incorporated into the content.

- I think everything Netflix does now no matter what, is going to bug me, and probably
other people as well.  In a blog post on Sunday night, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings
apologized for lacking "respect and humility in the way [Netflix] announced the
separation of DVD and streaming and the price changes," and then revealed that the
company will be separating its streaming and DVD-by-mail services into two separate
entities. The company's streaming-only offering will still retain the Netflix moniker, but
the DVD-by-mail option will now be offered under the new Qwikster brand – complete
with its own website that is slated to be up and running within the next few weeks.
Moreover, Qwikster will also offer a video grade upgrade option, similar to the Blu-Ray
upgrade option the company offers right now. There will be no further price changes
(unless, of course, you make some upgrades); however, if you choose to subscribe to
both services, you will receive two different statements towards each service.  So
basically, now I will have to deal with 2 websites, get 2 bills and get used to the stupid
new name Qwikster...man Netflix people...you are making it really hard to not just
dump you altogether...bad move...again!

-I guess SURVIVOR should take it as a complement and a "why didn't we think of that"
moment... Contestants who are eliminated from the ninth season of Bravo's TOP CHEF
will get a chance at redemption through TOP CHEF: LAST CHANCE KITCHEN. The web-
only series will serve as a companion piece to the show and will document an alternate
round of cook-offs featuring the TV show's cast-offs.  SURVIVOR has Redemption
Island and we really don't see what's going on there until the duel...Sorry Jeff
Probst...you know I love you, but they got ya on this one!

-For anyone bored and playing around with your IPAD, there is a great TED segment
from Lauren Zalaznick of Bravo about the Conscience of Television.  I think the entire
speech is about 11 minutes long, but really interesting stuff check it out if you are stuck
in an airport or something.

-Tuesday's Trivia Question: There were 3 celebrity house hunters on last night's TWO &
A HALF MEN...one was John "Uncle Jesse" Stamos from FULL HOUSE...who were the
other two?
