-I got so excited last night when I saw the breaking news of an NFL agreement by the
owners, but apparently, I shouldn't be plotting my tailgating menu just yet...the players
still need to agree to the deal. So...my marinated skirt steaks, Grammy's baked beans,
my friend Jeri's salad...well that's all still on hold for now...come on guys...I can't have
a Fall without GANG GREEN!!!
-More yelling at the TV for me last night...My dogs are very confused and must think I
am psychotic...I cannot take Rachel & Brendan in the BIG BROTHER house...I just need
someone to smash them in their faces...I am so angry with Jeff & Jordan for not
getting rid of them when they had the chance...and now with SPOILER ALERT: Rachel
as the Head of Household...I have to deal with another week of her annoying laugh,
her drama and her whining...ahhhhhh
-Last night was the season finale of REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NYC...honestly, I think this
should have been the last season...I am over them...they are all nuts and quite
frankly...getting kind of boring. Never the same after Bethenny left the show. Give me
some Gorga's 24/7...I am a happy camper...I would be thrilled with an all Gorga
channel all the time...fine by me. Hope Andy Cohen hears me!
-Some conflicting news for all of us 90210 (the original that is) fans...Shannen Doherty
is going to have her own reality show. I was NEVER a fan of hers, but at the same
token, a good train wreck is a good train wreck, but...where do I draw the line? I
think I may draw the line here...but my 90210 loyalty could swing me back in the other
direction...see my problem here? Luckily I don't have to make any hard decisions just
yet as the show isn't airing until early 2012.
-I am a car person by default as my husband is really into cars and racing etc. So for
him and for all of you other "gear heads" TOP GEAR (the better BBC version) returns on
8/22...if you don't have a season pass set up in your DVR...I will remind you again as it
gets closer...I do that for my husband anyway. Full service here at WWTM!
-So...I am out on vacation next week and trying VERY hard to be away from the TV, so
I am going to try to NOT file any reports while I am gone but it could be tough for
me...Enjoy the week, stay cool, and I will see you all when I get back!
