The answer to Tuesday’s Trivia Question: Joe’s Emerald City Pub is where the crew from Grey’s Anatomy hangout after surgery. I did accept Joe’s as a correct answer though.

-So many stories about 2 ½ MEN’s ratings falling, but even so…more people watched this past week’s episode than MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. I need to do some research to determine how the numbers look versus year ago numbers…I will get back to you but my guess is that they are close.
-Last night on DANCING WITH THE STARS (the show I only watch 5 minutes of) SPOILER ALERT: Carson Cressley was sent packing…thankfully, my two faves, David Arquette and Chaz are still dancing…I know that most likely they won’t win, but I’m glad they are still on and will continue to check in on them for 5 minutes each week, because that’s the kind of devoted fan I really am.
-On X FACTOR, we found out, over the course of 2 HOURS, who the final 16, well actually 17, going back to Hollywood will be. I personally have a problem with some of the choices: Thank goodness Simon had the ability to realize he made a mistake in sending Melanie home. I think he made another mistake in sending Caitlin home and keeping Tia Tolliver. But I got Melanie so I have to be grateful for that one. How painful was it to watch Nicole tell each singer if they made it through or not…OMG could she be any more uncomfortable? She looked like she was suffering from an appendicitis every time she was delivering bad news OR even good news…I don’t know if there is a word for something that is so incredibly beautiful and at the same time impossible to watch but it is Nicole Scherzinger. I did think she had the toughest category though, so I understood it was hard but harder than passing a kidney stone? Nah…And she also made a mistake…she took Dexter instead of Tiger Budbill or Elaine Gibbs? What is wrong with her? The only surprise from LA was that he took Philip Lomax the Frank Sinatra guy instead of super cute Brennan Hunt, everyone else he chose I was fine with. And Paula…honestly she made the most bizarre choices of them all…sending The Answr home (yes it’s spelled right) and keeping the Stereo Hogzz, Intensity and Lakoda Rayne…Paula is SO not going to win this show…not even a chance.
-Other than X FACTOR the only other show that I was able to watch last night was PARENTHOOD where you could feel how tired Christina was with her new baby, you felt how uncomfortable and nervous Drew was prior to his first kiss, and you could feel how conflicted and difficult it is when you have to go against your own parents. I guess what I am trying to get at is that this show really has this incredible ability to make viewers feel so deeply for what these amazing characters are going through. How many shows do that to us? In addition to all of these deep feelings, Cee-Lo Greene made a nice cameo and did NOT perform “Forget You” which was refreshing for a change, but he also did NOT wear his big mama glasses which creeped me out a bit.
- I have to support my Jason’s at all times…on Monday night at the Canadian Emmy’s, Jason Priestly (my favorite Jason) won BEST MALE PERFORMANCE IN A COMEDY for his role on CALL ME FITZ a great show that currently airs in Canada and here on Direct TV only. I caught up with it via Netflix over the Summer. It’s a great show that I hope comes here soon! Congrats JP!
-Part 3 of my SOCIAL TV series (look at me with a “series” of my own) This chart shows what months of the year are highest and lowest for Social TV engagement I don’t think there is anything to surprising on here but it’s a good chart nonetheless. Check it out:
-Wednesday’s Trivia Question: What is the name of the place where the crew from FRASIER hung out?
