-Loved Ozzy having a fit after being blindsided on SURVIVOR last night.  He was so mad, he said he wasn’t going to play the “alliance” game anymore and he was a “free agent” and oh by the way team…I have the immunity idol too so there!  Then he realizes…oops I made a BIG mistake…apologizes and says we really need to stick together going into the merge.  Lucky for him, his team won and didn’t have to go to tribal last night as I think they would have tried to oust him anyway.  I love seeing a great player go down, especially by having a tantrum like Ozzy did…  If you missed MODERN FAMILY last night, you missed the lowest cut shirt Sophia “Gloria” Vergara has ever worn.  If that shirt was being worn on the beach on SURVIVOR they would have had to blur it out.  There was one scene where she is talking to Manny, her son, and her cleavage is RIGHT in his face.  That kid has to be saying to himself “how in the world do I NOT look down her shirt”  I mean it’s unbelievable.  I can’t remember what the rest of the show was about, even I was hypnotized by her upper assets!  I tried to watch HAPPY ENDINGS, but 8 minutes in I was bored and decided to delete it.  SUBURGATORY was pretty good last night.  That show is getting better and better each week.  I know that George, Jeremy Sisto’s character claims to be an architect in the show, but he NEVER works…ever…how in the world can they afford to live in the suburbs if he never goes to work?  Also didn’t I read and report that Jay Mohr had joined the cast?  When is he getting to work?  So far, no Jay he too better get to work. 

-Today is the 60th anniversary of the CBS EYE LOGO, not sure why I feel the need to include this in today’s “news” but it’s been a really light news week, so a story is a story. 

-Lindsay Lohan’s probation has been revoked for missing too many community service appointments, so back to jail she went for a few hours…then her 100K bail was posted and out she came.  Hasn’t she exhausted all of her money between legal bills, partying and NOT working?  This story has nothing to do with TV, but again, I haven’t had much to discuss all week, so hey…bonus!

-For all of you who knew a few days ago that Zooey Deschanel was in the band She and Him when it was one of my trivia questions,  or if you heard her sing in that cotton commercial I had told you about, you will be interested to know that she will be singing the National Anthem in game 4 of the WORLD SERIES.  You know how FOX likes to promote their stars and “call in a favor” from time to time, well Zooey got the call!  I think this will be the only part of the WORLD SERIES I’ll watch.  With my NY Yankees out and any other team that I really would watch out, I won’t be watching the WORLD SERIES at all, but I will check out Zooey…I like her voice.

-HOW TO BE A GENTLEMEN has been pulled from Saturdays, so does that mean it is officially cancelled?  I am betting…yes…if your show can’t even stay on TV for the least watched night of the week, that’s cancellation in my book.  Sorry Johnny Drama, looks like you are back to looking for work again.  Hopefully you saved some of your HBO/Entourage dough.

-This Friday on 20/20 Barbara Walters will be interviewing the Carey/Cannon family.  Mariah, Nick and twins Morrocan and Monroe, aka “Roc & Ro”  will make their debut. Come on you know you are saying “I gotta remember to set the DVR for that”.  I know the second I heard this news, I went to my Tivo app on my Blackberry and set that one up immediately.  I just feel it’s “must see” potential. 

-Steve Jobs biographer, Walter Isaacson will be on 60 MINUTES this Sunday, the night before Steve’s biography goes on sale. (If you haven’t installed your DVRs app on your phone, this is now the second must see TV note of the day…get busy) I pre-ordered the book as soon as I heard about it, the tough part will be fitting in time in my busy TV schedule to read it, too bad they didn’t pre-load it on the new 4S, then Siri could read it to me (if I ever get one that is)

-THRSFS…aka Two Hour Reality Show Fatigue Syndrome…I think I have it…do you?  When I heard that next week’s XFACTOR was going to be 2 ½ hours, I whined and complained to all the people in my row at work.  2 ½ hours??? COME ON! Then, while doing my reading for today’s email,  I read about this THRSFS…apparently someone out there in TV research land has done a study that kinda proves that viewers are starting to have issues with these 2 hour reality shows as the ratings have started to decrease as the length of the shows have increased.  I for one will admit, I have this syndrome. The way everything is dragged out is just driving me nuts lately and now as much as I LOVE X FACTOR…2 ½ hours of it?  OY VEY I can’t even think of trying to have a life when these producers do this to me.
