-Had to check out the first LIVE! WITH KELLY yesterday just to see how it would be without Reege and it was absolutely fine…Jerry Seinfeld is this week’s co-host.  He was funny when he was being the Jerry we all expect him to be, but he kind of seemed like the job was a bit beneath him and that some of the banter was ridiculous…which it was, but it is what that audience expects and apparently enjoys…so suck it up Jer…you only have a few more days until your week is up…let’s see if you want to come back and if they even want you back.  Kelly’s first guest without Reege was HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER’S Jason Segel…he was there to promote the new MUPPET MOVIE…did you guys know that in addition to starring in the movie, he actually wrote the script? 

-Big time SPOILER ALERT for last night’s HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER…ROBIN IS PREGNANT??? WTF??? Who is the dad? I am guessing that it isn’t Barney, but that would be an amazing twist if it was.  Then again if she really is pregnant then no matter what she can’t be the “kids” mother right?  As much as I don’t want the show to end, I need to know who their mother is already…

-I have only really been watching 2 ½ MEN since Ashton joined the cast, so somebody has to explain something to me…why doesn’t Alan work? Did he ever have a job?  What was it?  Gotta give Chuck Lorre some props as I really thought that I knew exactly what would happen in last night’s episode and I didn’t…I like to be pleasantly surprised.  Do any of you freeze the DVR to read his Vanity Cards?  Last night’s was WAY over my head…are they always like that?  Seems to me that Charlie wasn’t the only one taking some sort of mind altering substance…

-Last night’s REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS was a super bizarre one, as Taylor and her now dead ex-husband who supposedly beat her, threw another ridiculous birthday party for their 5 year old daughter Kennedy.  Yes…even more ridiculous than the 65K tea party she through last year for her 4th birthday.  This one had a cowboy theme and was held on a beautiful ranch in Malibu for 250 people!  In addition to that ridiculous statement…Taylor and Russell gave their extremely annoying daughter a HORSE…if that’s what she gets for her 5th, what in the world does she get for her 6th?  Now I know why Russell killed himself…he saw the bill for the party!

-UP ALL NIGHT shockingly was given a full season order from NBC.  I have seen it a few times and haven’t really thought it was funny, but apparently NBC does.  This is probably why they are in the situation they are in…they don’t ask me if shows are funny or not…I am here when you need me NBC!

-One of my fave guys in the business, Andy Cohen of Bravo, has been promoted to President of Development and Talent and if that wasn’t enough, his show, WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE will go to 5 nights a week (Sunday-Thursday) beginning January 8th.  Congrats Andy…careful of your liver though…if you are now going to be having late night cocktails 5 nights a week, you may want to take it a bit slower especially with the big promotion.

-Tonight is the finale of DANCING WITH THE STARS and although I haven’t watched more than 5 minutes a week, I am rooting for JR at this point.  Ricki Lake had experience has a dancer, I can’t give any support to any of the Kardashians and JR deserves the cheesy trophy…so good luck tonight JR.

- By 2014, 90 million Americans will own a tablet, representing about 36% of all Internet users and nearly 28% of the U.S. population. -Elisabeth Shue will be joining CSI as a series regular.  Shue will play a new member of the CSI team who just completed an anger management course and is surrounded by rumors that D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) fired her when she worked for him in Seattle.  Shue's character will be introduced in the scheduled February 15 episode.  CSI: Crime Scene Investigation airs Wednesdays at 10p.  I could care less about CSI but I have always liked Elisabeth Shue…see today’s trivia question.
