-It was Michael Jackson night on the X FACTOR last night and all of the Jackson’s were in the house!  Marlon, Tito and Jackie, plus matriarch Kathryn Jackson and Michaels kids, Paris, Prince and Blanket. I wonder if they call him Blankie as the nickname to the nickname. All three kids didn’t look to thrilled to be there, but Blankie really looked lost. I was excited when I heard about Michael night, I love MJ, but his songs aren’t for everyone to perform and even trying to dance to them is tough which was really evident last night.  The only person that was able to pull it off was Melanie Amaro, but she stood still most of the time and didn’t really give any sort of moonwalk tribute.  The rest really struggled.  Drew and Astro have to go tonight.  I am done with Drew, she is really a one trick “Sarah McLaughlin” pony, but last night she had really good hair, so at least she got that out of it.   

-The only other show I was able to get in last night was SURVIVOR.  SPOILER ALERT: As much as he annoyed me in the same way Woody Allen annoys me, I did like having Cochran playing the game because he understood the game so much.  Now that he is on Redemption Island with a .001% chance to beat Ozzy things are looking pretty bad for him.  Hopefully the people who create the games, came up with something Cochran can do…not sure of what that would be other than hypothesize, but maybe he will surprise us all.

While it isn’t primetime, it is still noteworthy, because, well, I am watching…LIVE WITH KELLY so I was happy to see that the show delivered a 3.4HH rating and a 1.8 W25-54 rating for its first Regisless week.  This is up 17% on HH’s and 29% in women versus the same week last year.  Way to go Kelly!  Last week Jerry “I am to cool for this gig” Seinfeld who wasn’t nearly as good as NPH was the co-host, let’s see how the numbers do this week with the perfect sidekick…NPH…he is just the best.   

- Online ad revenues in the U.S. have hit the $7.88 billion mark for the third quarter of 2011. It is a 22% increase over the same time period in 2010, making it the eight consecutive quarter of year-over-year growth. The numbers also represent a 2.7% increase over the record-setting second quarter of 2011.
