-Okay, I admit, GLEE last night was basically one long commercial for their Christmas album, but I LOVED IT!  Yes it was cheesy, and for the younger demo watching with no reference at all to the STAR WARS CHRISTMAS SPECIAL (which I do remember) or the Judy Garland one (which I had never heard of or seen) who weren’t getting it and not appreciating the black and white, it could have been painful.  I LOVED it anyway.  I loved the twist on the home we were being welcomed into being Kurt and Blaine’s, and I loved every single song they featured last night.  I loved the cheesy stereotypical, helping the less fortunate ending where everyone comes together and sings…I loved it all.  I know…super cheesy…but it must be the holiday spirit or something because it all worked for me.

-Christiane Amanpour (former roommate of JFK Jr.) is moving on to a different position in the ABC News organization.  She will now be splitting her time in a unique deal between CNN and ABC News.  George Stephanopolous will go back to hosting THIS WEEK in addition to his GMA duties. Not sure if this is a good deal for either one of them…seems to me that they each had one job to focus on before, and now they have two. Do we think that George is getting a raise and Christiane is taking a pay cut? Who knows…I don’t even watch any of these shows, but thought the whole thing seemed interesting enough to make my email today.  I have just been intrigued by Christiane because she lived with JFK Jr for a while (as friends) which from the book I read, seemed like a really fun time for both of them.

Kevin Jonas (the least cute of the Jonas Brothers) was Kelly’s co-host yesterday on LIVE WITH KELLY, and honestly…he was pretty good.  He just isn’t cute enough for me…but they were great together, he was really comfortable and funny and he is from NJ and apparently shops often at the Short Hills Mall (anywhere from 9am-1pm).  Normally I never watch the guests, but while I was fast forwarding through them, I did happen to notice that Michelle Pfeiffer looks amazing…I am sure she is rockin the Botox or the Restylin or whatever, but she looks amazing for her age (53) or any age.  Oh…note to Kelly if she is reading this…I love you, but you really have to stop saying the word “literally”…you say it WAY too much and you aren’t using it correctly most of the time.

-Chris Meloni has been officially hired as a series regular on HBO’s TRUE BLOOD. I gave up TRUE BLOOD after the meat lady season, and really wouldn’t go back (well maybe if one of my Jason’s or Rob or one of my guys joined the cast) but I know a lot of SVU fans and OZ fans are probably now intrigued enough to tune in.  I am sure Chris is breathing a sigh of relief too…his move to leave SVU could have added him to the David Caruso list of stupid moves (although David Caruso did end up okay…finally…on CSI Miami…but it took a while)

-I had read that some advertisers were pulling out of AMERICAN MUSLIM on TLC, so because it’s my job, I had to check it out too.  Honestly, it is really pretty boring and just showing life for a Muslim family here in the US and the issues they have to deal with in general and because they are Muslim.  Nothing that controversial at all…I think people go crazy just from the title of the show.  My biggest complaint was the one couple who were moving in together and the Muslim wife was making her husband get rid of his dog that he has owned for 15 years because it’s against the Muslim religion to have dogs in the house.  Whatever…lighten up people…the show is fine

-Forgot to mention something yesterday about REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS…what was up between Brandi and Camille…I think they were really into each other in Vegas on the dance floor…even I played that scene a few times.  Between that scene and the Chippendale dancers, it was quite a steamy evening…don’t know how I forgot to mention that.

-What’s a Wednesday at the end of the year without a list?  Here’s one…

Wednesday’s Trivia Question: Ooooo just read that William Devane has been cast as Grandpa Grayson on REVENGE.  He played one of the best soap characters on Knots Landing…name his character!
