-I meant to DVR the Glen Campbell film on CNN and totalllllly forgot. Good news though, they're re-running it on 7/4 at 9pm. Of all the CNN Films this one was the highest rated to date for not only my demo, 25-54 (HATE TO ADMIT THAT) but interestingly enough it was the 2nd highest rated among the coveted Millennial demo of 18-34. The broadcast delivered 2.7 million viewers.
-The BET Awards kicked ass big time on Sunday night. Final ratings aren't in but 12 million total viewers tuned in and as you can see from above, the broadcast generated 7.3 million tweets.
THE SHOWS
Grandfathered
I got home from my sons game late, made myself some dinner and had about 30 minutes to kill before the Yankee game so I decided it was time to start watching pilots. Couldn't decide between Rob Lowe or John Stamos but we went with Grandfathered. I really liked it. Stamos is still hot, his character isn't much of a stretch. Single 50 year old womanizer who runs a trendy restaurant. One day a son he never knew he had shows up with a granddaughter he never knew he had who is almost as cute as the Olsen twins were back in the day. ALMOST. The son has a Mom and a baby mama. Instant family. I like the style of the show, the quick pace and lets face it...Stamos is STILL enjoyable to look at. Wish the son and his Mom were a TINY bit hotter, but it all works. Betting on this one.
