THE SHOWS

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Finale

Well we ended the season at Kyle's place in Palm Springs. The gang was back from the Dubai and the first thing they did was NOT catch up with their families, NOT schedule an appointment with their Botox team and was NOT to head out to Ralph's for some food shopping. They all just unpacked and repacked and headed to Palm Springs for some last minute, get-it-in-before-the-credits-roll drama. What is with Lisa Rinna? The SECOND she walked in to Kyle's OUTdoor patio she grabbed Yolanda and just had to confront her and start things up again. If that wasn't enough, Rinna had to start with Kim, too. WHY Rinna, WHY??? Starting with Yo and Kim still not enough.  LVP had to get in on the action. I think it would have been a HUGE help if they stopped filming and rolled out a laptop and replayed the video of the original Munchhousen incident. Rinna started the entire thing. She did. The fact that she threw LVP under the bus could have been made very clear if they just replayed the tape. In addition to the pool party drama, we had some other events that deserve some attention:
Ken called Rinna a "stupid b*tch" and a "wanker"
Vince looked like the last thing in life he wanted to sit and talk to his wife about was anything that came out of any of the Lisa's mouths.
The word is hypNOtized not hypMOtized
I enjoy when Lisa Vanderpump speaks without an accent
Lisa Vanderpump did actually apologize to Faye Resnick which proves that she can actually say the word APOLOGIZE.
How gorgeous were the pink flowers that bordered LVP's pool?
Harry Hamlin was missing AGAIN.
Gigi was shopping with Kourtney & Kendall, there's a new show for you, Andy.
Note to the producers…we only got the last 15 minutes to cover the entire Yolanda Foster divorce? I could have used a two part special on that one alone. Hopefully it comes up during the reunion. Part 1 of 3 starts next Tuesday…can't wait.

The Grinder

Since Fred Savage filled in for Michael Strahan on Live with Kelly & Michael, I'm sort of a little obsessed with him. I've watched his host chat 3 times and couldn't wait for this new episode of The Grinder to see him again. It's a pretty incredible feat to steal the show from Rob Lowe, but I'm currently on team Fred. Last nights Grinder had me thinking. Was the point for us to care what other people think or NOT to care what other people think. Are strangers opinions of us usually right? Dean used focus groups for everything in his TV life and thought it would be a great idea to use them for the ongoing court case against their Dad. Dean and Todd grabbed a bunch of strangers from the mall and took their feedback pretty seriously. Then the kids got involved and got feedback from their classmates. Gotta be honest, all of the focus group feedback seemed spot on to me. So what was the point? The public is always right? We should listen to the opinions of strangers? Am I taking the episode way too seriously? I think I might be,  but maybe I was supposed to. Anyone watch?

Chrisley Knows Best

Okay back to ridiculousness. The Chrisley's are moving to Nashville to be closer to Savannah? WTF is that about? Chase, Lyndsay and Grandma Faye are staying in Atlanta and Todd, Julie and Grayson are going to Nashville. Savannah went to Nashville to get away from her parents and now they're just going to follow her and stalk her in Music City. Show over, no? The best part of the show is when Chase and Savannah are together. Now how are we going to make this work? More ridiculousness…Chase and his BFF were going to sell their sperm in order to afford a few pairs of expensive shoes. Pretty sure with the money USA pays the family, Chase could have just thrown down his platinum card and forked over the dough instead of the sperm. Of COURSE he didn't end up donating. Right in the middle of packing up all the crap in the Atlanta house, Todd had the time (and money) to buy 50 baby dolls to use as an example for one scene with Chase. Super lame, super scripted, super annoying.

THE OTHER STUFF

-Congrats to David Letterman and The Daily Show. Both will be honored in May at the Peabody Awards Ceremony. The show will air on Pivot in June

-I hated Man Seeking Woman, I think it's one of those shows I just don't get. Obviously, it's not all about me. FX must have some research that someone's watching…they renewed it for a 3rd Season.

-FOX renewed New Girl for a 6th season. Maybe they should call it NOT So New Girl or Old Girl at this point?

Wednesday's Trivia Question This weeks theme is shows where one of the stars was replaced with another. Name the character on The Partridge Family who was replaced. Name the 2 actors who played him
