-Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter was REALLY good on LIVE WITH KELLY yesterday and Kelly's outfit was better, she looked more like one of my Aunt’s instead of my Mother-in-law which at least is heading in the right direction. Daniel was comfortable, funny, interesting and really did the interviews pretty well...Again...I don't think I would want him there every day (nor do I think he would want to be there every day) but he was enjoyable.
-I was really looking forward to the Michael Jackson episode of GLEE...I love Michael! Right out of the gate the show started off amazing with Blaine, leading New Directions with "Wanna Be Starting Something" The entire cast joined in and had the MJ moves, jackets, and of course the glove. Great way to open the show! I liked Quinn’s version of "Never Can Say Goodbye". And I wish Mercedes would just get back with Sam already. Their duet on "Human Nature" was actually pretty good including the kiss at the end. The rest of the songs were okay…MJ is hard to pull off so all in all that part of the show was decent. So glad that both Rachel and Kurt are finalists at NYADA (Is that a real school?) and I knew she would never really marry Finn…I mean that would be ridiculous. More ridiculous is this thing with The Warblers…there was always this “friendly” competition. I find it hard to believe that all of them would stand behind this idiot Sebastian and throw slushies on their friends…makes no sense at all. The best part of the show…the morphing at the end of “Black or White”. Good Job McKinley!
-JOAN AND MELISSA was really funny last night. To escape Melissa’s boyfriends parents, Joan’s friend takes her to get medical marijuana and then get high…need I say more? HILARIOUS! Sad to see Jason and his parents knowing that Melissa and Jason are broken up and she is now dating the chairman of Vivid Entertainment (porn), Steven Hirsch…according to Joan…he is really a nice Jewish boy.
I didn’t see BERING SEA GOLD last Friday night, and we are huge DEADLIEST CATCH fans in our house, so I think we better get on this one…Friday’s premiere delivered 3.6 million viewers, making it the highest-rated series debut in the network's history among total viewers and A18-49.
-Have you guys been using VIGGLE? If you have an IPAD or an IPHONE you need to really start. All you do is register and check in when you are watching your fave shows and you get points that you can use for pretty cool stuff like Starbucks, Itunes and Amazon Gift Cards…I already have 5000 points! I even left the house this AM reminding my son to Viggle when he watches TV later…finally my TV habit will generate some income!
-Seriously, I may have to check out GENERAL HOSPITAL at some point soon…in addition to Robert Scorpio and Anna Devane, I was right…Duke Lavery is coming back and so is…Dr. Noah Drake…aka…Rick Springfield…what is it like 1986 or something?
-Twitter & LinkedIn Facts that I found last night:
· Twitter’s ad revenue will grow 84% in 2012 to 260MM
· Twitter’s ad revenue is estimated to grow to 540MM by 2014
· 90% of Twitter’s revenue is US generated
· LinkedIn pulls in a greater share of ad dollars than Twitter from OUTSIDE the US
· LinkedIn will generate 226MM in ad revenue in 2012 up 46% from 2011
· LinkedIn’s ad revenues are expected to grow to 406MM by 2014
· 40% of this will come from OUTSIDE the US
-I must be an idiot or something, I had no idea that Rashida Jones, aka Ann Perkins from PARKS & RECREATION was Quincy Jones’s daughter…did you guys all know that? Did you forget to tell me?
With just one episode out there, HBO has already renewed LUCK. I am guessing that they have in fact seen the entire season and feel that it is THAT good…me on the other hand, I have still to be convinced
