Yesterday’s trivia question was a big hot mess!  I asked my friend (and WWTM reader) James Gabriele for help since he is my go to guy for all things sports and he wanted me to do Superbowl trivia…the original question that I sent out was “What city has hosted the most Superbowls” not what stadium…so I am posting the First Fives for both…
Miami is the city that has hosted the most Superbowls with 10, but New Orleans via the Superdome is the stadium that has hosted the most Superbowls with 10…in 2013, New Orleans (the city) will take the lead with 11, but for now I am counting both since the question could have been taken different ways…OY VEY what controversy…

FIRST FIVES for Miami: Ed Ziskind, Todd Petrich, Andrew Werts, Tara Dowling & Stefan Strothmann
FIRST FIVES for New Orleans: Bobby Aguilera, Jim Wall, Nancy Oboyski, Karen Heniger & Eric Schwartz

-Okay, I admit it, I haven't seen GOOD MORNING AMERICA lately...I mean I am here, typing this email everyday when it's on, so I think I have a good excuse...but honestly, I had no idea who Dan Abrams was when he walked out on Kelly's arm yesterday.  He was decent...I sorta liked him...I think he looks a little like Ryan Gossling but he has one vampirey tooth and in general he seemed very beige...This is why I love Kelly...she brought in for "show & tell" a humongous piece of spaghetti that came out of her sons nose and shared it with all of the us...I enjoyed this. Super cute Channing Tatum was on the show and I learned that in addition to his movie "The Vow", Channing  has a new movie called Magic Mike that is all about his experience as a stripper when he was 18...pretty sure I will enjoy this more than the spaghetti.

-SGA recap...Yeah Octavia Spencer, Alec lost weight, so over Betty White, MODERN FAMILY wins for best ensemble, Paul Giamatti & Kate Winslett not there, SAG/AFTRA unions merge, Kristen Wiigs choker ewww...new drinking game called Scorsese (drink), Dick Van Dyck presents Lifetime Achievement Award to Mary Tyler Moore (wish there was a non Superbowl Trivia question today-I would ask who they played in the DICK VAN DYCK SHOW), I did the math, Mary Tyler Moore is 75 years old, Jessica Lange got her hair done for this show...I think, Steve Buscemi beat Kyle Chandler, BOARDWALK EMPIRE wins for ensemble Drama-they take up the entire stage, The Artist guy won, Viola Davis wins thanks Cicely Tyson and Meryl Streep for inspiring her...everyone cried then the cast of THE HELP won...show over.

-DOWNTON ABBEY was super sad this week...SPOILER ALERT: William died and Matthew is now crippled and impotent...OY VEY...this show is the epitome of epic and if that wasn’t enough…Shirley Maclane is joining the cast as Lady Grantham’s Mom…oooh now that is going to be good!

-REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS Reunion...PART 1...I really didn't think everyone would be going after Lisa Vanderpump as much as they did, but most of the women had something to say about her sarcastic comments, her calculating and manipulitive ways and, Adrienne even accused Lisa of selling stories for money to Radar Online (like she needs it?)...through it all I have to give Lisa credit...she can definitely dish it out AND she can take it "like a lady" too!  I found Taylor's entire "thing" weird.  I get why she wanted to do the show now...her rationale was that with camera's around they would protect her from more violence but then she said that Russell could have possibly been the love of her life.  However...the love of her life sent her some extremely disgusting texts that shocked me when they were revealed on the show.  Brandi was only on for a few minutes at the end of part 1 and there is way more to come next week. I can't wait… the hour just flew by tonight.

-Steve Jones tweeted that he will not be back as the X FACTOR host next season...not the biggest surprise in the world really...Steve had some issues...but now the question is...who will the next X FACTOR host be? I can tell you who it won't be...Nicole Scherzinger OR supposedly Paula Abdul as BOTH women are gone too! So no offense to Simon, or LA Reid, but we need to get some eye candy back on staff soon!  If you guys had to fill all of these spots, who would you pick?  They are calling it Simon’s Monday Massacre…WOW!

-J-Lo and her ex, Mark Anthony’s show Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN debuted last Saturday…at 7p on Univision and delivered 2.2 million total viewers, 1.0 million A18-49.

-I am assuming that you will all be checking out PUPPY BOWL VIII (More roman numerals) this weekend before the SUPERBOWL.  It starts at 3pm and runs on Animal Planet for anyone who doesn’t know.  If you have never seen any of the PUPPY BOWL, you have to check it out for a few minutes at least…it’s the cutest, cheesiest thing you have ever seen.  Some PUPPY BOWL facts:
·         Puppies are all cast from various shelters and rescue organizations around the country
·         There were 118 potential puppy players this year that were cut down to 59
·         They all had to send in head shots for consideration
·         They are ranked on cuteness first and foremost and then rambunctiousness
·         The show was filmed in NYC in October
·         The field is only 10 feet by 19 feet and is overseen by the Humane Society
·         Puppies can only be on the field for 20 minutes at a time
·         The biggest problem…if a puppy pees or poos on any of the logos…
·         This years cheerleaders are PIGS (they squeal more)
·         Puppies to watch: Fumble and Marbles
·         This year the Puppies scored the most touchdowns ever in PUPPYBOWL history

-I don't know what I am going to do during the commercial breaks during SUPERBOWL XLVI on Sunday as many of them are getting some preview traction online already...I posted the Volkswagen/Star Wars commercial the other day.  Today I saw Jerry Seinfeld's Acura commerical which was pretty cute.
