Ya know how you know a show is good…when you watch it at 6AM on the elliptical and when it’s over you can’t believe you just did 48 minutes, you are a sweaty mess and would do anything to keep going if you had another episode to watch…that’s what happened to me this AM while watching Monday’s episode of SMASH.  It’s good because, just when you think it’s going to go one way…it goes another. It’s good because the music isn’t SO Broadwayish.  It’s good because every single one of the actors is amazing…well, there is one weak spot…the kid who plays Debra Messing’s son…not sure if it’s him or the believability of his storyline…do we believe that a 16 year old teenage boy is aching for his parents to adopt a baby girl from China?  Ehhh not really…but I can put that all aside when I am transported into this story.  Glad it won its time period Monday night (not by much…but it did!) Can’t wait for next week.

So apparently I wasn’t the only one freaking out about Kelly Nipa…I mean Ripa’s headlights.  Yesterday on LIVE WITH KELLY, it was the first topic and was deemed…”Nipplegate”.  Love it. What may be of interest to you all, is that 15 WWTM readers asked me to see the photo…everyone loves a good “wardrobe malfunction” and this one definitely was a good one.  Randy was back as co-host, and said he didn’t notice the headlights…WTH??? How could anyone not notice, especially, a guy? Yesterday’s dress was okay, the necklace was gone and it was a good show.  I wish I took a photo of the Pink Swarovski crystal covered Kitchen Aid mixer that some cupcake chick brought on the show.  OMG I want a red one BAD…but apparently it was “made special” for this famous cupcaker.

-Finished watching REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS which was all Kim and Kyle who apparently have tons of issues that they are dealing with as sisters.  Nice to know every family no matter how rich or poor has their issues and sisters…well…it’s always complicated.  Kim apparently has always suffered from severe panic attacks and anxiety…so that medicine coupled with her self-admitted alcoholism explains all the crazy behavior.  I am rooting for her and glad she dumped Ken the serial killer guy.

-GLEE was really good last night.  So happy that they have already figured out an exit strategy for Rory the GLEE PROJECT winner who is completely horrible on the show.  He did sing a decent version of Michael Buble’s “Home” but once he attempts to speak or act…it’s all bad.  Samuel, the other winner from the GLEE PROJECT, finally made his appearance as a god loving, home schooled, kid, but his song was the best of the night…”My Hearts A Stereo” by Gym Class Heroes.  Mercedes’ weirdly coincidentally timed version of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” was really good and could have given Jennifer Hudson a run for her money.  I thought I would hate Sugar, but I am digging her storyline.  Nice to see Jeff Goldblum as one of Rachel Berry’s dads.   Again a few things made no sense (just like the sudden appearance of a pool and synchronized swimming team).  How would Artie be able to pull that trick with the locker if he is in a wheelchair?  Oh and where did the choir come from if the school is always in search for kids to sing in the glee club?  I was wondering when Blaine would get back from his stint on Broadway (for real) and back on the show…last night…finally he was back and singing “Love Shack”.  Didn’t really believe…at all…that Korofski was really in love with Kurt…that was odd really.

-COUGARTOWN and the biggest wine goblets you have ever seen were back.  Hilarious new title card that says “Yeah it’s still called COUGARTOWN, we don’t like it either”.  It seems that during the super long hiatus, Stan aged 4 years, which always could be a “jump the shark” situation.  I think if he doesn’t make too many appearances we are okay and of course it was great that I was actually surprised by SPOILER ALERT Grayson’s proposal but honestly…happy about it, just didn’t see it coming and that is a good thing.

-If you didn’t cry your head off, scream at the TV, and get the chills from last night’s PARENTHOOD, then something truly is wrong with you.  Poor Drew.  First he walks in on his Mom and his teacher doin the nasty and now he walks in on her ovulation kit and breaks down crying in front of the teacher/boyfriend…my heart aches for him. If that isn’t enough…his sister, Amber, is actually happy and finally finding her way in the world…I wanted to kill Hattie for telling Kristina about the sexy clothes she packed for her night away with Little Bob/Bob Little.  The best part though…was the entire storyline with Max getting picked last in gym and then finding a friend who happens to be in a wheelchair.  The wheelchair kids’ parents are SO happy that he has a friend and they are thanking Adam and Kristina and you know that Adam and Kristina are equally as grateful because Max has never had a friend either. OMG…chills.

-The best part of my night, was watching JOAN & MELISSA with my 10 year old son.  He stopped watching the Knicks to watch Joan with me…he loves it…we both do.  It really is hilarious, but I know why he loves it so much.  The relationship Joan has with her grandson Cooper hits close to home for him and for me.  Joan went to a rustic ranch, went horseback riding, skeet shooting (she is actually pretty good), ate ribs and corn on the cob, went fly fishing with the high water boots and everything, fell in the stream, set up a tent (well sort of) and camped outside all alone with Cooper until Melissa rescued her…all to spend time with her grandson and her daughter…honestly if that isn’t love and devotion I don’t know what is.

-I didn’t catch the WESTMINSTER DOG SHOW last night, but for anyone that is interested…Malachy the Pekingese was Best in Show.

-No charts or research today…

Wednesday’s Trivia Question: Tonight is the return of one of my faves…REAL faves…SURVIVOR…Who won the title of sole SURVIVOR last season?
