-Kelly's outfit on Wednesday was actually pretty good...not loving that necklace that she always wears but for once the necklace did match the outfit.  Howie Mandel was Kelly's co-host.  I like Howie a lot.  He is good at the gig, but he could get exhausting...he seems extremely caffeinated all the time. J-Lo was a guest and man she really had on the most beautiful shoes I have ever seen.  On Thursday, Kelly's outfit was back to matronly, and her co-host was Jennie Garth's husband, aka Carlisle Cullen from TWILIGHT, and Dr. Cooper from NURSE JACKIE, Peter Facinelli.  Peter was good, he seemed a bit angry or irritated but overall, not bad...I liked the way they looked together and Peter is from Queens, so points for that.   New word that I love, thanks to Kelly...Vagagony which is the ache a woman feels after she takes her first spin class...LOVE it Kelly!

-What's with all these super crazy sunglasses...First, Paul Schaeffer's Plastic Man glasses on LETTERMAN and last night on IDOL, Randy's big beatle bug glasses.  Too big and funny.  How cute was Johnny on IDOL?  He is soooooooo going to Hollywood!  When Steven Tyler puts those old lady glasses on to read they magically transform him into Joan Rivers.  What about that kid with the bloody head and the alcoholic dad?  Pretty good singer! I never noticed Ryan Seacrest's big clown feet before...maybe it was just the shoes?  The tour ended just in time...with so many people going to Hollywood I was wondering when we would all finally get there already...apparently it is next week...thank goodness.

-What did you think of the 30 seconds of Madonna's new video?  All I can say is that she does look good! She is 53 years old ya know...I have no idea if I liked the song or not. I wonder if Adidas paid extra for the very special placement of their logo on all of those dancers chests?

-Leslie's insane Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt for Ben on PARKS & REC was hilarious and I was wondering when Little Sebastian would come up again...OMG...Ann Perkins (aka Quincy Jones's daughter) and Tom!  No way...but of course Chris Traeger, DJ'ing with his Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, while suffering from a broken heart made the Pawnee Valentine’s Day a classic... Ron Swanson in a gay bar even for a second...come on that's just brilliant. Surprise guest appearance from the KNOCKED UP guy-the one who had the bet to grow his hair and beard just thought I would mention it…didn’t want the writers to think I missed that one.

-Elijah and the entire Original family is back on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, because when you are a vampire, it is apparently almost impossible to really die forever...What's the bad side of being a vampire again?  Best line of the night courtesy of my man Klaus..."we can sit and eat or I can reach down your throats and pull out your insides...choice is yours". needless to say, they ate...What I wouldn't give to be at that dinner table...Stefan, Damon, Klaus and Elijah...seems more like dessert to me!  So now that the entire Original family is back together and want to be a family again, looks like they aren't going anywhere, of course not, Mystic Falls is THE place to raise a vampire family...man this show is good!

-Now that WHITNEY has a job, of course she has a guy friend at work and of course her boyfriend is jealous, so of course she arranges a dinner for them to meet, which of course doesn't go well so of course what do they do?...They go see a therapist who happens to be John Cleese who tells them to do all these stupid things to reconnect.  I mean we have seen this all before...wish it wasn't so stereotypically uncomfortable and predictable.

-97.9 million people in the U.S. owned a Smartphone in the 4Q 2011,
·         The number represents 40% of all mobile subscribers.
·         Google's Android ranked as the top Smartphone OS with a 47.3% market share, up 2.5% from the market share it held in 3Q.
·         Apple's still number two in 4Q 2011 with a 29.6% share, up from 27.4% in 3Q.
·         RIM, comes in third, and again experienced a drop in market share, from 18.9% in 3Q 2011 to 16.0% in 4Q.
·         Microsoft and Symbian also saw their market shares drop 0.9% and 0.4%, respectively.
  • 47.6% (+5.1% from 3Q) of mobile subscribers used downloaded apps.
  • 47.5% (+4.6%) used a browser on their mobile phones.
  • 35.3% (+3.8%) accessed a social networking site or blog.
- Nearly 60% of mobile phone users who also plan to watch this year's SUPERBOWL will look at or use their mobile device during the game.
·         83% of viewers who plan to use their mobile phones expect to access their device more than they did during last year's Super Bowl.
·         30% of viewers under the age of 45 will watch the game with their device in hand
·         47% of viewers over the age of 18 say they expect to use their mobile device up to 10 times during the game.
·         13% of viewers who plan to use their mobile device will do so during game play.
·         26% say they are likely to use their phones during commercial breaks.

-A new Syfy original movie called BIGFOOT will feature some oldies but goodies, which may make me watch it…I am really not a big fan of BIGFOOT in general, and I don’t like scary stuff (except Vampires with their shirts off) but when you tell me that Barry “Greg Brady” Williams, Danny “Danny Partridge” Bonaduce, Howard “Dr. Johnny Fever” Hesseman and Alice Cooper are going to be in it…I think it becomes must see TV.  Not sure when it airs, but no worries, when it does…I will make sure to remind you.

WWTM-Weekend Movie Rental Suggestion: Staying with the Football theme...I loved the documentary: Harvard Beats Yale 29-29 which tells the story of the 1968 football meeting between the Ivy League archrivals. Filmmaker Kevin Rafferty's father was a former

I am dividing the Friday Superbowl Trivia Question into two…an easy one and a hard one:
Friday’s EASY Superbowl Trivia Question: Who is singing the National Anthem at this year’s SUPERBOWL?
Friday’s HARD Superbowl Trivia Question: What was the first Wild Card Team to win a SUPERBOWL?

Whoever you are rooting for, enjoy SUPERBOWL SUNDAY...GO GIANTS!
