-The fourth season premiere of SONS OF ANARCHY on Tuesday attracted its largest
audience ever. Nearly 5 million total viewers and 3.22 million adults 18-49 tuned in.
The 90-minute episode averaged 4.94 million viewers, up 20% versus last season. It
also posted a 15% gain in adults 18-49 versus its third-season premiere. Together with
its two encore runs Tuesday night, 7 million viewers watched the episode.  I added this
show to my Tivo...think I am going to check it out.

-For those of you sick of my BIG BROTHER commentary (I know most of you skip this
section) you only have 2 more episodes left and then the season is over.  Adam, the
annoying guy from Hoboken, totally blew his chances of winning last night when he
chose not to use the Veto.  Yes he was true to his word, but he will need to win every
competition in order to make it to the final 2.  To be honest, in my opinion, the only
person left in the house that deserves the money is SW Rachel.  Hate to say it but it's
true.  Best part of last night's episode was when Shelly and Jeff went at it in the jury
house.  Again...hate to say it, but Shelly was right in her explanation to Jeff, he just
couldn't admit it.  Happy to see Khalia crying and moaning and miserable...buh bye
Kahlia!

-Samsung is the top mobile handset maker in the U.S. with about 25% market share,
followed by LG at 21% and Motorola at 14%, according to new mobile handset data
from comScore. On the smartphone side, Google's Android platform now commands
about 42% of the Smartphone market, with Apple next at 27%, and RIM pulling in at
third with about 22%. All told, about 82 million people in the U.S. owned Smartphones
for the three-month period ending in July, up 10 percent from the prior three-month
period

-More VMA facts: Social media measuring service, Social Guide, said the MTV VMAs
from Sunday night 8/28 ranked as the most social program measured to date, beating
the premiere of Jersey Shore's fourth season a few weeks ago. The VMAs logged nearly
560,000 uniques and 1.3 million comments.

-If you watch as much TV as I do (does anyone watch as much TV as I do?), you must
have seen the movie trailer for CONTAGION with my girl crush Gwyneth Paltrow in it...
I do love her, but would ANYONE want to see this movie?  I mean this kinda thing
scares the you know what out of me.  I can't even deal with the ads anymore...as soon
as I see Matt Damon freaking out...click...will this movie make money?  I can't wait to
see the box office next week.  Yeesh

-I don't want to take the credit, but if I don't pat myself on the back, nobody
will...seems like I was the first person to use Trendrr data and now everyone else is
using it in their daily reports/emails etc.  They say that imitation is the sincerest form
of flattery, so I will take it as a complement...anyway, I read in someone else's daily
email that: According to Trendrr, NBC had the highest broadcast social share (at 28%)
during this past summer. This victory was largely attributed to the network's successful
singing competition, THE VOICE, which had built-in social components. FOX (26%),
CBS   (24%), ABC (18%) and CW (4%) fill out the top 5. Meanwhile, MTV dominated
the cable list with 37% social share. For comparison, BET, the runner-up, brought in
7%. In fact, the top 2 social shows of the summer were both MTV properties: the MTV
VMA'S and JERSEY SHORE

-Are you ready for some football?  Season starts tonight on NBC!  Can't wait!  GO JETS
(I know they don't play tonight but excited anyway!)
-You know how I like to share when I find something I like...for anyone who is dieting
or trying to...I am addicted to this App called MY FITNESS PAL.  It is SO easy and fun
to use.  Can't tell you if it has caused success yet as I am only 6 days in, but I can tell
you that it has changed the way I plan my eating everyday...I know, nothing to do
with TV...but I had to share

-WWTM THURSDAY READER POLL:  How many of you would enjoy and participate in
an EMMY pool...no money to enter, but there could be a cool prize?

-Thursday's Trivia Question: Courtney Thorne Smith will be rejoining TWO & A HALF
MEN this season.  I could pull some TV question out on her, but she was in a movie
with Mark Harmon (currently seen weekly on NCIS) in 1987 called SUMMER SCHOOL.
Can you name Mark Harmon's character's name from the movie?  I think this is a tough
one, but I knew it without looking it up.
