-On the pre-recorded, fast forwarded version of LIVE WITH KELLY, all I can tell you is that her co-host was Michael Strahan, we had seen both of their outfits before and there was no necklace…that’s really all I will be doing until she get’s back to live shows again.  Just looking at the clothes and checking out the co-host.  I guess if a really good guest is on I will stop and watch…but for now…that’s the plan.

-I am thinking that Kelly may be consoling Mark this week while she is off relaxing…I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER, the show her husband is currently appearing in was pulled from the FOX primetime schedule…I hope he is dealing with it all okay.  He is really hot…that should make him feel a little bit better right?  He doesn’t really have to worry about paying the bills right?  So not much pressure…We are all rooting for you Mark Consuelos…or at least…I am!

-I only got to watch VAMPIRE DIARIES last night, but at least the one show I did watch did not disappoint.  Damon was pretty much in a towel for 50% of the show last night, when he wasn’t in a towel, he was doing some sexy dancing, and then doing the nasty…all as part of a grand plan to get information out of Rebecca’s brain…which of course he and new vampire nutjob Sage were able to do.  What did they find out you ask? That there is another special, original vampire killing tree in Mystic Falls (of course there is)…but it isn’t in the form of a tree any longer…it’s what the Wickerly Bridge is made out of.  Of course the bridge is currently under construction and of course,  all of the wood is piled high and OF course, Rebecca, one of the original vampires figures this out before Damon and sets it all on fire…but wait…Damon figures out that the SIGN for the Wickerly Bridge is also made from the special tree wood and now they have the upper hand.  More good news… Jeremy made a quick cameo appearance last night and he could have, if he was a good brother, picked up that his sister really needs him and maybe, just maybe, he will stop by for a visit soon…but he is a guy with no superpowers so maybe not.

-I know I was psyched to read that SMASH was renewed for another season.  Now I am sort of curious if it’s more Marilyn stuff or if the team moves to another show?  Will Debra Messing have gotten a good personal trainer before the start of next seasons shooting or will she have to hide in big long shmata’s for yet another season.  Debra…go re-watch some WILL & GRACE episodes…you can get back to that…I know you can!

-Social media can significantly boost the time viewers spend watching TV
·         58% of "heavy engagers," or those consumers who share on social networks the thoughts related to what they are watching at least 10 times a week, report watching more live TV.
·          "The respondents in this study consistently remarked that it makes TV more fun.
·         A growing number of viewers enjoy social interaction and frequently add shows to their lineup because of social conversations.
·         This adds up to more time spent on social networks and more hours watching television
·         The study also found three types of consumers who regularly engage in social TV experiences. They are:
  • "The Sports Nut": 25-54 year-old males who use social platforms to comment on games, debate, talk trash, etc.
  • "The Extrovert": 18-34 year-old males who have a lot of real-life and online friends.
  • "The Girlfriend": 25-44 year-old females who primarily use social TV to discuss the dramas and reality TV shows that are important to them, which is akin to a "girls' night out" experience, according to the study.
- MTV has crossed the 100 million "likes" mark for its show pages on Facebook
·          The male/female split for MTV's Facebook pages stands at 38%/62%.
·          48% of MTV's Facebook fans access the pages via mobile, while 52% access them through the web. The top five MTV Facebook pages by engagement (a six-week average) are for the Pauly D Project (45.21%), Caged (14.64%), I Just Want My Pants Back (13.12%), Teen Mom 2 (6.61%) and Awkward (5.02%).

WWTM Weekend Movie Rental-I am going to go with another one that I always watch whenever it’s on…13 GOING ON 30 with Jennifer Gardner…love it when they do the “Thriller” dance.

Friday’s Trivia Question:  Still sticking with the maid/housekeeper help theme…let’s see who knows their BRADY BUNCH trivia…In my mind the most famous housekeeper ever was Alice on THE BRADY BUNCH. In one episode, Alice had to go out of town so her identical cousin (I bought it then…rolling my eyes now) came to help the Brady’s…what was her name?

Friday’s NCAA Blog Trivia Question: Here is a good one…On March 30 1981, Ronald Reagan was shot, what 2 teams played the National Championship game that night and who was the star player to eventually become Knicks Head Coach?

Check the blog over the weekend…there could be a bonus post, trivia question or something…
