As you can see, the MAGNA DOODLE and not the ETCH A SKETCH is always hanging up in Chandler and Joey's apartment on FRIENDS. Every episode that you see it, there is always a different drawing.

-On Friday night while I was packing to go to Boston for the weekend, I was able to catch a few shows...The HART OF DIXIE finale was amazing. I'm hoping that a SPOILER ALERT isn't really necessary at this point, but holy cow, honestly, I was surprised by the cliffhanger. So for anyone that cares/follows: Zoey loves George but there is this "thing" with Wade (who never wears a shirt). George is engaged to Lemon, but Lemon had a "thing" with the Mayor. George and Lemon are about to get married, but everything that could possibly go wrong does. George tries, with everything he has, to make the wedding happen and it doesn't. He breaks it off and goes looking for Zoey...who is DYING to be with George BUT she finally hooked up with the shirtless Wade. George shows up at Zoey's door to tell her that he called it off with Lemon and they'll talk tomorrow...but who knows who Zoey's going to pick tomorrow. Clothed George, or Shirtless Wade...tune in next season to find out.
-I would like to thank a lot of you guys, and my Facebook friends, for letting me know that the rerun of Rob Lowe's WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ran on Friday night. I finally caught it and have to admit that the show was pretty interesting. Rob of course was gorgeous and well spoken and brilliant, but we also found out that he is related to a former Hessian soldier turned Revolutionary War soldier. I'm betting that regular people would never get access to actual documents from the Library of Congress, but it's pretty cool that Rob did. Thanks guys!
Two episodes of LIVE WITH KELLY, Friday with Seth Meyers and Monday's with the perfect Mark Consuelos. Nothing abnormal to report. Kelly's outfits were as always boring and bland but both guys looked good in perfectly tailored suits.
-As soon as I got back from Boston, after unpacking, food shopping and getting the laundry started, I had to watch GAME OF THRONES. It was great, don't get me wrong, but didn't it sort of seem to easy? I mean sure a ton of men were slaughtered, but the battle was over pretty quick and the Lannister's seemed to win it all pretty easily. I don't know, for some reason I assumed that it would be a bit more difficult for them to defend their land. Whatever, it was good...sort of bummed that King Joffrey/Geoffrey didn't suffer much, as I would have liked to see that, but I am betting he will get his at some point.
Our family really loves AMERICA'S GOT TALENT. Sure we love Howard on the show, but it's the first time in a long time that we all make it an appointment to sit together and watch a show that we all actually enjoy. I had a dumb smile during the entire episode, mainly because I was hanging with my guys. The hour flies by and then everyone goes their separate ways. Who knew we all enjoyed clogging so much? And, what is the difference between tap dancing and clogging? I need to check on that.
-I watched the return of GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS last night. I think I might actually be annoyed with Shannon Tweed-Simmons though. She finally got what she wanted...for Gene to marry her. And Gene, is actually enjoying calling Shannon his wife. But now, instead of trying to figure out something to do about Gene's awful hair (which seems to have gotten worse), Shannon is suffering from empty nest syndrome and wants to adopt or foster a kid...WHAT??? Nobody seems too happy about it and they shouldn't be. Gene especially. Shannon...sit back, relax and enjoy this time in your life...do you really want to be changing diapers or driving carpool all over again? Chill out! I think Dr. Wexler, the Tweed/Simmons therapist needs to set Shannon straight on this one, but it looks like even she has been doing some work over the break. She seems to have hired a stylist and had her hair and makeup done too. I guess with whatever the Tweed/Simmon's are paying, she can afford to be camera ready now...plus I'm sure business has picked up. I mean this is Hollywood...and this shrink figured out a way to get the most anti-marriage guy in the world to marry someone...business HAS to be booming. You go Dr. Wexler!
-FOX, CBS, and NBC have filed lawsuits against DISH Network for the satellite company's new Auto-Hop feature, which allows subscribers to instantly skip advertisements on recorded primetime programming. DISH has counter sued FOX, CBS, and NBC, as well as ABC, requesting a ruling that Auto-Hop does not violate any copyrights and that DISH has not breached any contracts it has with the broadcast networks by offering this new service. "Viewers have been skipping commercials since the advent of the remote control; we are giving them a feature they want and that gives them more control," said David Shull, SVP/Programming at DISH, in a statement. Numerous television executives have been publicly critical of Auto-Hop over the past few weeks. The decision to get the courts involved was pretty much inevitable. Here is my take on this...While DISH does collect subscriber fees, they do also sell advertising, so they are biting off one decent size chunk of a hand that feeds them. Advertisers are already trying to hold networks accountable with Live vs C3 etc. so not sure why DISH would jeopardize this revenue stream. I am definitely not an expert, but seems like a bad idea in the long run to me...just sayin.
