-Last night I was out with my Mom for dinner and a show (GHOST which we collectively agreed was good, but not great) so I didn't get home until late. It didn't matter, I had already gotten permission earlier from my son to watch SURVIVOR without him, so the second I got in...I caught up.  As expected, this is the time when all bets are off and finally the girls have to turn on each other. Also as expected the "very special" emotional family members on the island episode...brought to you by Sprint.  Did you guys think that the reunion between Kat and her "cousin Robbie" was a little odd?  There was a strange language being spoken, an interesting dance move and quite a bit of "affection".  I better go check Kat's bio to see where she is actually from...she could live in one of those towns where it's okay to kiss your cousin like that.  Anyway, having her "cousin" on her side for the reward challenge helped her win it and make the tough decision on who to take with her, so she chose Kim and Alicia...good move ?...not really, since SPOILER ALERT: they both worked to kick her butt right out.  Which truly shocked her...the look on her face was awesome, especially when she said during tribal council that there is nothing like a good blindside...I wonder if  she feels that way now? The question is, who is really running the show at this point?  Kim and Alicia both think that they are, but it could really be Chelsea...now is the time where it really gets good guys...can't wait for next week when Tarzan tries to get everyone to think he's lost it.  Wait til he finds out they thought that from day 1.

-I also did fit in MODERN FAMILY.  I had an issue with the entire Mitch/Cam annoying daughter Lily storyline this week.  They live in California right?  Do you know anyone that ever takes the subway in LA?  With Cam and Mitch being as neurotic as they are, I just thought that it made no sense that they were taking Lily (THE MOST ANNOYING CHILD EVER) on the subway.  So the rest of the story,  where they lose Lily's bunny (who is gay it turns out-not that there is anything wrong with it), try to get it back,  then see it being coughed on by a homeless guy so they bag they idea... just irritated me.  I think it's also because Lily is so annoying I would just tell her "we lost your bunny...bummer...get over it".  The other thing that bugged me about last night's episode was that I wasn't sure if Jay was lying to Gloria about him being a loser to get her on the helicopter was the truth or not.  Jay knows how to work Gloria to get what he wants, I sort of wished we got to see what happened when he did in fact get to Pebble Beach with her to find out the truth. Phi and his friend went shopping for a car and Phil came home with a Porsche (911).  We expected Claire to go insane, we knew she was pissed off, but she didn't say a word.  She just laughed when he tried to fit his "For Sale" signs into the front seat and then had the best day ever driving it down to the beach.  Of course Phil realized that he made a mistake, came clean to Claire, did cartwheels with her at the beach and all was right with the world.

Not bad for an at home arrival at 11:30 right?

-Lots of controversy over Ashton Kutcher's Pop Chips ad...I thought it was cute, not racist.  Am I wrong?  My judgement could be clouded by Ashton's cuteness, but help me out here...it's an official WWTM Poll...is this racist?

-In my research and preparation for my Jimmy Fallon sleepover, I found this video of Jimmy's SNL audition tape.  You need to check it out...Jimmy's impression's are amazing...Lorne Michaels would have been a fool if he let Jimmy walk out the door without signing him...

  1. Thanks for the season finale dates! Do you have intel on summer season premieres? I think they're mostly basic cable shows, on TNT, F/X etc. Look forward to your info!
