Apparently we had some "technical difficulties" in my house between Monday and Tuesday as one of my trusty DVR's went offline, so I have to watch SMASH and COUGARTOWN on my IPAD at some point this week, which I didn't realize until late last night when I couldn't sleep and found them both to be missing. This isn't the biggest tragedy in the world thanks to Itunes, but I really thought I would have been all caught up and now this puts me further behind schedule and since I am going out tonight, I am now officially in a CODE RED situation.  Hey it's TV, I know, but in the Carruba house, this is just as dire a situation as national security, or being out of Oreo's.

I did get to catch up on NURSE JACKIE from Sunday, which is still great but still so depressing.  Rosie Perez guest starred as this women we assumed was pregnant but then we found out that she had these crazy tumors and only 3 weeks to live.  They did put a "funny" spin on her condition as she made a realistic "bucket list" and ended up in the hospital after punching someone out that pissed her off, which was number 6 on the list.  Jackie went to meet up with a kid she met in rehab at an AA meeting, but when she got there, he was already using.  Big twist of the night...the kid also happens to be the new boss, Mike Cruz aka Bobby Cannavale's son.  Totally didn't see that one coming at all.  Grace proved to her Mom that she isn't as oblivious as Jackie would like to believe and spilled the beans to her sister and to Zoe that Jackie wasn't in Disneyland, but rehab...Zoe was way more shocked than Fiona was.  It's a good show, but we need the fun back soon...Not sure if you can make recovery funny, but writers if you are reading this...can you try please?

I only lasted the first 2 minutes of LIVE WITH KELLY...as soon as I saw Pat Kiernan again, I hit delete.  Couldn't tell you what Kelly was wearing, but I could see that the hideous necklace was still not around Kelly's neck...I guess that was one good thing, but still not enough to keep me interested.

Add domestic violence to the list of issues GLEE has officially covered, but you do have to give them credit as the person they chose to go through this horrible experience was Coach Beast???  If there is one person you want to be happy it would be Coach Beast, and if there is one person you would think could handle anyone it would be Coach Beast, but apparently even she is vulnerable to this sort of thing.  Luckily with the help of the GLEE girls and Sue Sylvester, she packed her bags and left Cooter to teach us all a valuable lesson.  Another interesting turn of events...Kurt decided at the last minute to sing "Not the Boy Next Door" from THE BOY FROM OZ instead of "Music of the Night from PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and got a great review from guest star Whoopi Goldberg who played the NYADA admission's person.  In the super surprising twist of the night and maybe the season, Rachel, who was born to sing on stage in front of anyone who will listen, totally choked and pretty much blew it.  Oh, and one more surprise...Michael Mancini (aka Thomas Calabro) showed up as Puck's down on his luck Dad...Best line of the night came of course from Sue Sylvester as she referred to Coach Beast, Nene Leakes and herself as: John Goodman, Black Sue, and Original Recipe...classic Sue!

-Xtina's hair/blingband combo was an interesting choice last night on THE VOICE.  The 3 guys were relatively mellow, even CeeLo wasn't sporting anything that interesting for the semifinal results show.  Did you guys see though that when Xtina got up to hug Lindsey after she was voted out that she had a big stain on her skirt sorta near her butt crack?  I went back a few times...I think I'm right!  Last's night's "emotional" episode (deemed so by Carson Daly, not me) was a little too drawn out.  The bottomline is that the four finalists are: Chris Mann (I'm good with that one), Tony Lucca (I wanted Katrina Parker), Jermaine (I wanted Erin) and Juliet (I wanted Jamar).  So, I personally am not that happy with the final four, but hey...what am I gonna do?  Next weeks finally should be interesting, if nothing else, I'm sure Xtina will go all out with some crazy pantsless ensemble.

-While TWO AND A HALF MEN has not been officially renewed yet, all of its stars have signed a one year deal that gives them all a modest raise...so I'm pretty sure that the show made the schedule for next year.  Les Moonves is a bright guy, and a good businessman, just ask him, he will be happy to tell you this himself.  I'm sure he doesn't want to let his biggest show go just yet, so this is really no big surprise, but it's a light news day, so it's something.

-You know how I love these charts:  So, I would absolutely think that I would be considered a Heavy TV user, but according to this chart, I am nowhere near heavy usage levels...8 hours and ten minutes PER DAY??? Not even on my best day have I watched 8 hours of television...don't people work?
Time Spent per Day with TV, Radio and Internet According to US Internet Users, 2012 (hrs:mins)

-Urkel was kicked off DANCING WITH THE STARS and Jeremy Britt won THE BIGGEST LOSER by losing 51.5% of his weight which was 199lbs!

For all of you WEST WING fans, the video below isn't really that funny, but it was nice to see some of the WEST WING cast reunite for the sake of a good cause...Aaron Sorkin should have stepped in to add the Funny...but still nice to see President Barlett, CJ, and some of the other Oval Office staffers...check it out!

-FASHION STAR Jessica Simpson finally gave birth to a 9lb baby girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson...not sure why of all the Hollywood names we have heard this one is causing quite a stir...you know she is going to call the kid Max...that's fine for a girl...what's the big deal?

-Found another cool Infographic on APPLE, another one of my obsessions...here are the facts:
  • Apple's total sales in 2011 were 128 Billion Dollars
  • That's more than the Gross Domestic Product of 160 nations around the world
  • Apple sells 694 Ipads every minute
  • Apple sells 11 Ipads every second
  • Apple is projecting that it will sell 56.4 million Ipads in 2012
  • If you laid them all end to end they would stretch from Cupertino to NYC almost 2 times
  • Since Apple's IOS  launched in 2008, they have sold more than 200 million devices
  • That is almost as many cars sold worldwide in the same timeframe across all automakers (213 million)
  • 72 million Iphones sold in 2011 which is nearly equal to the weight of the Eiffel Tower
  • 40% of Apple's revenue is credit to the Iphone
Wednesday's Trivia Question: What was the name of Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey's MTV Reality show?

  1. Don't advertise about Apple's sales - The Gov't is going after them to share - Just because Apple has more money in the bank than the US Government - What's the Problem, They're business people not Politicians - Big Difference!
