Congratulations to President Obama for keeping his job. I did vote, I enjoy voting, I won't reveal who I voted for or if I'm happy with the outcome, but I will urge one or all of the major networks to consider a different strategy during the next Presidential election. Online Counter Programming!!! How about airing current season, live or rerun episodes, online for those of us not interested in the election coverage? I know most of you watched election news, but it could be a good strategy to air some shows that all of us want to catch up or haven't sampled yet. Just saying...I can't be the only one that likes this idea.
So obviously last night, for me, wasn't the greatest. I tried to watch the coverage, but it made me anxious. I checked my DVR and all I had was some old Jimmy Fallon's eps, some old Jimmy Kimmel's, yesterday's Live (with) Kelly & Michael but the guests didn't interest me, and last weeks Breaking Amish. So...Breaking Amish it was, but even this episode irrirated me and forced me to fast forward through most of it. So I channel surfed, which I hate doing...I tried Extreme Cheapstakes but just couldn't deal with the insanity. Then I saw that Full House was on Nick at Night, but it was a later episode, Michelle was older and not so cute anymore so I bagged that real fast. I ended up falling asleep to Sportscenter around what I think was 9pmish. (All I know was Obama was losing at that point) I woke up at 11:45pmish and saw that Obama won. Tried to stay awake for one of the speeches but that didn't happen. The next thing I knew I was up getting ready for work thinking...what am I going to write about...there was really no TV news, no entertainment news, nothing. So guys...this post isn't the greatest, I will give you back some time on your calendar's and hope we are all are back to normal viewing habits tonight.
