-Caught up on Monday night’s JIMMY FALLON which started off the week, as promised with 2 performances from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.  While that was great for Bruce fans, my favorite part of the show was this clip with Jimmy and Brian Williams “slow jamming the news”

As all of you know, I don’t watch the news, but I have always had a “thing” for Brian Williams since I met him years ago at a luncheon.  It would be fun if Brian stopped by my house to deliver pizza the night of Jimmy Fallon sleeps over…but I digress.

-Kelly was finally back home where she belongs and joined by Lucy Liu as her co-host on LIVE WITH KELLY yesterday.  Kelly was wearing another odd dress with a strange flap but Lucy wore a risqué chris cross dress that had some boob peekage…an interesting choice for early morning TV, but it was nice and way better than Kelly’s dress.  Kelly’s hair was back to normal and I am hoping that the hideous necklace was lost somewhere between New York, Hawaii and L.A. and won’t see the light of day again.  One can hope.  Poppy Montgomery was on the show and she was ROCKIN a gorgeous pair of red shoes.  Need to do some research to find out whose shoes they were, they were awesome.  Sorry no picture…

-Also caught up on Bethenny from Monday night.  Not much Jason in this episode which bummed me out a bit, but there was a really funny scene with Nick the extremely unattractive and awkward food blogger getting his eyebrows threaded on a falafel food crawl…only Bethenny could make that happen.  In addition to this lovely event, Bethenny is apparently pretty good friends with Hoda Kotb as during a lunch together we all learned that Bethenny was responsible for Hoda meeting her current boyfriend who she apparently is head over heels in love with.

-I tried to use the new “amazing” CONAN app last night…I couldn’t get it to work.  If I have time and remember…I will try again.  In other news…I did Viggle everything I watched last night and I am almost over the 25000 point mark again!  That is 3 more free movie tickets!

-COUGARTOWN was so funny last night, we finally learned a bit about Tom the neighbor who is in the window all the time.  He is apparently a neurosurgeon, has 2 kids, and his last name is Gazillion!

-JOAN & MELISSA are staying busy to keep Melissa’s mind off the big breakup.  But now that Jason is gone, Melissa needs a lot of help with her son.  So instead of a Nanny…Joan offers to help.  They have a psychic come over and the psychic has them both pick animal cards…of course…Joan picks a beaver and I laugh for the rest of the show at all beaver references because that’s the kind of 12 year old humor I like.  Say what you want about Joan, but she is strong for a 79 year old woman.  She carried Cooper’s surfboard, cello and 4 trays of catering…

-Last but not least the perfect PARENTHOOD season finale.  Lots of storylines wrapped up, lots of crying (by me, not the cast) and lots of opportunity for next season.  Here is where we netted out:
1) Jasmine and Crosby got married in a backyard ceremony that looks like it took a month to plan not a week
2) Crosby and Adam made up and didn’t sell the recording studio for a boatload of money so no idea how Adam and Christina are going to afford to send Hattie to Cornell but I am betting she opts to stay “closer to home” (unless she was cast in another pilot or got a movie deal or something better than this amazing show)
3) Awesome guest appearance and FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS inside joke, when “Billy” Crosby’s drunken bff that we had never heard of before, turns up for best man duty.  He didn’t have the last name “Riggins” but it was him nonetheless
4) Drew and his girlfriend “do it” at the wedding
5) Zoey actually shows up to say goodbye and take the baby, but in a surprising twist, the adoption agency drops off what appears to be an 8 year old boy named Victor
6) Amber asks Bob Little/Little Bob for her job and only her job back and of course he agrees
7) Zeke and Camille are super proud of all of their kids (I think that Crosby is their favorite)
8) Sarah and Mark (John Ritter’s look alike son) break up and then get back together at the wedding when Mark proposes…that was the cliffhanger ending…we never got Sarah’s answer
GREAT SHOW…GREAT SEASON…thanks Jason Katims…

-For anyone that missed the hilarious Post Oscar JIMMY KIMMEL special, ABC is re-airing it on Thursday from 9-10p.  I definitely think you guys should watch it…it was really good

-I tried to hold off sending yesterday’s WWTM until the names were announced for DANCING WITH THE STARS, but it didn’t work out.  So I am sure you guys all know who will be dancing, but just in case you missed the list:

Jack Wagner-Frisco from General Hospital, see trivia question and Heather Locklear’s ex
Melissa Gilbert-Half Pint
Donald Driver-Green Bay Packer
William Levy-model and big star in Cuba
Sheri Shepherd-One of the women of THE VIEW (how is she going to do it all?)
Katherine Jenkins-Opera singer
Gavin Degraw-Pop singer
Martina Navratilova-Tennis player
Roshon Fegan-on the show SHAKE IT UP on the Disney Channel
Maria Menunos-host of stuff
Jaleel White-ERKEL
Gladys Night (no Pips)-awesome singer

- Time to upgrade your IPAD…Apple has announced an event on March 7 in San Francisco, which according to all indications will be the introduction of the iPad 3. So for anyone getting rid of their IPAD 1’s or 2’s…let me know…in this case I will make an exception and except sloppy seconds.

-I was not surprised at all when I read yesterday that the GLEE cast has joined the list of the top 10 selling digital artists of all time with over 32 million songs digitally downloaded in the US.  They are 8th at this point, but depending on how long the show stays on the air…they could definitely move up the ranks.

I don’t watch IDOL…gave it up to watch THE VOICE, but I did see this clip this morning and this is why you have to love Steven Tyler…he did bring up the alleged J-LO Oscar night nip slip incident…of course J-LO still denies it but let’s face it people…we know we saw it…I would just own it if I were J-Lo…”yeah so…I slipped a nip” done.

-Now that awards season is over… E! is definitely THE winner as their web traffic increased by 11% in terms of uniques; 23% in page views; and 22% in video views. Across online and mobile, but excluding apps, E! Online generated 156 million page views for the three days surrounding the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, SAG Awards and Grammys, of which 118 million happened online and 38 million on the mobile web. The website also generated nearly 40 million total on-site and off-site video views during those core red carpet days.  Got say it…congrats E!
Wednesday’s Trivia Question: What was new DANCING WITH THE STARS cast member Jack Wagner’s characters name on MELROSE PLACE?  Hint: He was a doctor on the show.

-Lots of post Oscar numbers and facts to go through…some of the ones that I found important or interesting are here:
·         The Oscars had its 2nd largest audience since 2007 and reached 39.3 million viewers which was up 4% versus last year. The A18-49 numbers was flat to last year with an 11.7.
·         The Oscar.com and the Oscar app grew 42% with 10.2 million visitors to the site and 370,000 downloads of the app which is an increase of 1154% vs. last year.  On Sunday alone, 4 million people visited the site or used the app
·         E!’s million hours of coverage averaged 4 million viewers and was the most watched ACADEMY AWARDS LIVE FROM THE RED CARPET ever.  12 million viewers tuned into E!’s 8 ½ hours (okay so I exaggerated a little) of Red Carpet programming which was up 4% vs. last year.

-JIMMY KIMMEL’s post Oscar show was up 14% vs. last year and was his most watched post show ever.  Did you guys watch any of it?  Jimmy had Oprah on. While she looked horrible (definitely must have fired Andre or something and it looked like she gained some weight). She was FUNNY!  There were three great taped pieces…the first was Jimmy’s opening number with Billy Crystal, the second was a spoof of a movie trailer called: Movie…The Movie and the third was Jimmy pitching show ideas to Oprah for her struggling network.  Here are two of the three, if anyone can find the opening clip…send it my way…

-Mashable had a great infographic for Oscar Tweet recaps, here are some of the highlights:
·         1,980,930 total tweets for the awards show
·         633,879 users tweeting during the show
·         68% were from the United State
·         81% were in English
·         Most mentioned actor-Brad Pitt with 62,025 followed by his BFF George Clooney with 61,967
·         Most mentioned actress-Meryl Streep with 38,202 followed by Michelle Williams with 15, 610
·         Most mentioned movie-The Artist with 26,751 followed by Hugo with 25,056
·         Most mentioned from the red carpet-Emma Stone 4,562
·         Top 5 most retweeted accounts: @theacademy, @_sname,@eonline,@perezhilton,@hugogloss
·         Top 5 most mentioned accounts: @getglue, @theacademy, @_snape, @eonline, @tntla

-Kelly Ripa and her co-host Neil Patrick Harris took over the Kodak theatre for LIVE WITH KELLY yesterday.  Kelly apparently took Gayle King’s spot backstage at the Oscars and interviewed the celebrities as they came backstage after presenting or winning.  In the extremely condensed taped piece that recapped all of Kelly’s interviews, basically…she congratulated them, and drank with them…weird actually.  Kelly’s Oscar dress was also odd…a mint green belted dress that accentuated her lack of upper assets.  I am not advocating breast implants…really I’m not…but there are cutlets or even a good pair of socks…it’s 2012...everyone does it Kelly…The hair was also not helping the situation as it was was slicked back into a giant cinnamon bun.  I felt like Kelly got gyped on the guests they booked too…I mean it was what like 6AM in LA when Kelly’s show is live? So I could understand why the celebs didn’t want to appear, so Kelly ended up with Jean Dujardin from THE ARTIST with a translator in his ear, and some of the other cast members from the Best Picture Winner, and Octavia Spencer who won for THE HELP.  They also had Isaac Mizrahi on the red carpet which was also just condensed down to him asking who everyone was wearing and a really really awkward moment with Brad and Angelina…hate to say it…but Oprah and Gayle did a much better job…then again…it was Kelly’s first year so I will give her some slack.

-Okay…I guess, that Blake, Christina, CeeLo and Adam only did blind auditions for one day.  I get it, they are all really busy, and it was probably tough to get them all in one place…but perhaps they could have brought with them a change of clothes?  Same clothes for all 5 rounds of auditions.  I really needed some outfit changes…The cat was back…it seems to just magically appear in CeeLo’s arms during the show.  It is really funny and a little disturbing the way he handles and looks a that thing…I guess they gave up time to change clothes in lieu of time with their pets???  I loved Whitney Myer last night…she was the girl at the beginning wearing the earrings that looked like an abacus.  She was awesome and I am SO glad she is on Adam’s team.

-Well, one thing that I wanted the writers to do on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, was bring Lily and Marshall back to the city and…yeah! They are back…I knew that couldn’t last long. Now that Ted was kind enough to give them his place, he is in need of a new crib.  Maybe it is there, in his new building or at the dry cleaners or Starbucks in his new hood, that he will finally meet the MOTHER…enough already people…I need to meet her…soon!

-Sunday night caught up with me and I passed out before I could watch BETHENNY or CONAN or FALLON (with Bruce) or Sunday’s CELEBRITY APPRENTICE…so I have a lot of work ahead of me this week.  I promise I will get to it all.

-James Spader is out as Robert California on THE OFFICE after this season.  He had only signed a one year deal and that’s apparently all he wants to do…so I guess a new boss will be coming soon…or maybe…now don’t get upset people…but maybe it’s time to end this thing…just sayin.

-Who are the 2% that play 30 hours of video games a week?  Even kids don’t have that kind of time.

-I know who the 12% who watch 30+ hours of TV are…ME!

-The DAYTONA 500 finally got underway yesterday and ran on FOX in primetime…tons of crazy crashes meant that the race took 6 hours to complete. Matt Kenseth was the winner.  In addition to all the craziness of the race…I guess that Brad Keslowski can’t go anywhere without his smartphone…Brad was tweeting during the race.  Seriously…now that is taking racing to a whole new level…for anyone interested…here are his tweets:
·         No worries We stopped @LisShoe: @keselowski please! Don't tweet and drive! Lol ;) ;)"
·         Yup At least I'm not in the port-a-Jon :) @darrenrovell: @keselowski are u sitting in the car right now tweeting?"
·         My pocket @zanestoddard: BK - Where's that phone go when we're green? "@keselowski:
-I’m not sure I completely understand what it means when I read that CONAN has “taken a giant leap into the future” with the new Team Coco Tablet App.  The app uses automatic content recognition technology to provide Conan’s fans with exclusive synchronized content that is delivered in real-time while they watch the show. So I guess it is sort of like Viggle Live?   Each episode of CONAN will feature up to 25 different pieces of bonus content delivered through the Team Coco app and synchronized with elements within the show.
If I can remember and stay awake…I will try to test it at some point this week.

-Tuesday’s Trivia Question-Last night on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, Becki Newton made her first appearance as a stripper named Karma…what was the big show she co-starred in previously?

-Let’s just set the stage for my Oscar viewing last night…Chinese food ordered (tradition of Peking Duck out the window since my place didn’t have it on hand, so substitute was General Tso’s Chicken), sweats, super soft blanket, family room, big screen, husband, dogs, pad & paper for notes, cell phone for texting, checking Facebook & Twitter, and Ipad for Viggle and Oscar App…CHECK
1.    THE DRESSES
·         Apparently white is the new black, which I am happy with…I loved all of the white dresses, and I am guessing that all of the designers put some sort of stuff on the inside to insure that the spray tan remnants don’t leave stains?
·         My favorites were: Gwyneth Paltrow, Shailene Woodley, J-Lo (before the wardrobe malfunction), Milla Jovavich, & Octavia Spencer
·         Stacy Kiebler looked exactly like what she is…a trophy girlfriend.
·         Melissa McCarthy looked TERRIBLE
·         Everyone on Twitter and on TV loved Michelle Williams red/coral whatever color it was dress…me…not so much, but she looked gorgeous anyway
·         I didn’t like Viola Davis’s green dress and I didn’t like her hair…at first I didn’t even recognize her
·         Hated Rooney Mara’s dress and hair…didn’t it look someone ripped her dress?
·         Kristen Wiig..way too blah and beige and GET YOUR HAIR DONE or at least make it look like it was
·         Emma Stone’s bow was WAY too big and I’d have to think it had to be ultra annoying and in her peripheral vision all night long
·         Tina Fey’s hair was too big
·         Cameron Diaz’s dress was beautiful but she looked really old for some reason
·         Sandra Bullock – perfection
·         I honestly thought Angelina was breathtaking…
·         I didn’t like Natalie Portman’s dress but the necklace was insane
·         Every guy looks good in a tux, but George and Brad…ahhhhhh I just love them and can only imagine what it must be like to hang out with the two of them together…do they stare at each other in disbelief of their gorgeousness the way I would?  I honestly think they might.

2.    EVERYTHING ELSE
·         The number one story for me…J-Lo’s Nip Slippage…holy cow…guess that special tape she always uses wasn’t working for her last night…I wonder if Cameron came up with the idea to turn around and do the butt shot in order to hide the nip slips…I’m sure that will be the number one video trending today.  Do you think it will be a topic on IDOL?  I won’t watch, so let me know.
·         The Dictator (Sascha Baron Cohen) spilling Kim Jong Il’s ashes on Ryan Seacrest was just so wrong…and while it did add some excitement to the red carpet, Ryan was obviously NOT in on the joke and not happy at all…I guess Sascha Baron Cohen didn’t want to sit through the 3 hour extravaganza and figured he’d try to make the best of it, but I didn’t think it was funny and it definitely didn’t make me want to go see the movie…but I am talking about it this AM so again…guess it worked
·         Did you all have an awful time with sound last night?  I really had a hard time understanding Billy’s song and then there seemed to be someone playing either Mattel or Coleco football in the background for most of the broadcast.  At first I thought I was going crazy, but then everyone on Facebook, and on Twitter was asking the same question as I was…How in the world does something like that happen?
·         Even sexiest man alive Bradley Cooper can’t get away with a 70’s porno mustache…ewww…not working Bradley Cooper…not working at all…I am not a big facial hair fan…on men or women…just sayin
·         Billy Crystal was okay…not as bad as what I am reading this AM…He looked puffy, and some of his material seemed a little outdated and sort of racistish…I mean if you were going to show the insanity of focus groups, did you have to pick a movie from 1939?  Could have been so much funnier if it was more relevant.  The opening sequence with Billy inserted into the movies was good…especially the George Clooney kiss and the Bieber cameo, but honestly…downhill from there.
·         Lots of mixed opinions on Angelina’s pose at the podium…I liked it…she and Brad give me what I need when I see them together…I enjoy them…what can I say?  I felt that Brad was channeling Tristan from LEGENDS OF THE FALL last night with his long hair…again…all good.
·         Chris Rock…hilarious…love him…letting his hair grow out...it caught me a little off guard, but he rules, so whatever he wants to do is fine by me.
·         I didn’t realize that Sheila E was on drums up there in the balcony area until later in the show.
·         Cirque D Soleil??? At the Oscars??? Yeah it was cool, but not for the Oscars…odd idea…who thought of that…Billy?  Again…not really relevant
·         Robert Downey Jr. presenting with Gwyneth…what would be cool (and again…relevant) would be if that pseudo mini documentary he was filming was somewhere online this AM
·         Best presenter award goes to Emma Stone…I forgot about the enormous bow for a second because she was Soooo funny
·         Did Nick Nolte have a chemical peel?  Forget his sunscreen?  What was up with his super red swollen face?
·         Zack Galifinakis and Will Ferrell’s thing with the cymbals…woke me right up which is what everyone needed by that point in the show
·         I loved that Reese Witherspoon’s movie reference was OVERBOARD, which is one of my faves too
·         Didn’t it look like Oprah didn’t have her hair and makeup done last night?  Maybe with troubles at OWN she has had to cut back on some luxuries???
·         Tom Cruise turns 50 in July and no matter what I think about him and his antics…the guy looks GOOD!

So here’s where we netted out: THE ARTIST won everything that HUGO didn’t.  I got 18 out of 24 right in my Oscar Pool, earned 6000 points on Viggle, sent 22 text messages, updated my Facebook status 6x, consumed ¼ of a container of Ben & Jerry’s Late Night flavor (with Jimmy Fallon on it) and got to bed before midnight a happy camper.  Regardless of whether the show is good or not, if I saw all of the movies or not, I love Oscar night.

-While my husband and I were watching THE OSCARS, my son was watching the NBA ALL-STAR GAME which for anyone who cares…was won by the West…152-149

-THE DAYTONA 500 was postponed yesterday due to rain for the first time ever and will happen today at 12N.  Bummer for all the fans and for FOX…THE DAYTONA 500 is pretty much that sports SUPERBOWL…yeesh

-On Saturday night, we watched the NBA All Star Saturday Night and so did a lot of other people. The show helped TNT to deliver a 4.4 HHrating and was tied for the second-highest rated NBA All-Star Saturday Night ever.
Additionally, the Top 5 Rated DMAs from Saturday night:
1. Miami -- 9.4
2. San Antonio -- 7.5
3. Orlando -- 7.3
4. Oklahoma City -- 6.9
5. Atlanta, Chicago -- 6.5

If this wasn’t enough, to honor the release of Bruce Springsteen’s new album on 3/6, Jimmy is paying a musical tribute to The Boss all this week.  Bruce will perform on the show on Monday and on Friday.  On Friday, Jimmy is celebrating his 3rd anniversary in Late Night.  Bruce and the band will be the only guests, and Bruce will sit down and chat with Jimmy.  The rest of the week, other artists will perform covers of Bruce songs…they include Kenny Chesney singing “I’m on Fire” and Elvis Costello singing “Brilliant Disguise”.  My favorite Bruce song is “Candy’s Room”…not that anyone cares, but in case Jimmy reads this, he should know so he can sing it to me when he sleeps over.

PLEASE COME SLEEP OVER MY HOUSE Jimmy…I promise we will have a lot of platonic fun and really good snacks!

-Well, we know 3 of the next DANCING WITH THE STARS cast members…Jack Wagner, Melissa “Half Pint” Gilbert, and Sheri Shepherd.  So far…so good (even though I don’t watch DWTS.

-Cool infographic I found over the weekend: EVERY 60 SECONDS IN SOCIAL MEDIA
·         1090 Pinterest visitors
·         2000 Foursquare check ins
·         3125 Flickr photos uploaded
·         3500 Tagged new friend connections
·         7610 Linked in Searches
·         7630 Stumble Upon Stumbles
·         175,000 Tweets
·         700,000 Facebook Messages Sent
·         2,000,000 Videos viewed on You Tube

-Speaking of PINTEREST, some interesting facts about this new up and comer…I love Pinterest, but it isn’t a great experience on your handset…it is really much better on your laptop or desktop…anyway…the facts:
·         28.1% of users have a HH Income of 100K plus
·         The average users spends 15.8 minutes per visit which is higher than Facebook and Twitter combined
·         50% of Pinterest users have kids
·         68.2% Female/31.8 % Male
·         Total Unique visitors has increased by 2,702.2% since May of 2011
·         97% of Pinterests Facebook fans are women
·         27.4% of Pinterest users are 25-34
·         Pinterest has more referral traffic than LinkedIn, Google + and You Tube combined
·         Pinterest currently receives 1.36 million visitors per day

-I have a lot of rules for my Facebook page, one of them is that I defriend every month if my friends haven’t engaged in some way within the previous month.  Everyone laughs at my insanity, (not to be confused in any way with LINsanity) but it seems that more and more people are starting to think about this more and more.  There has been a rise in the number of untagged photos, deleted comments, and defriending over the past 2 years.  63% of users have defriended people in 2011 vs. 56% in 2009.  I’m sure this will continue as people put more and more of their personal information out there.

-On Friday, the LIVE WITH KELLY wedding finally took place, which was the premise for the road trip to Hawaii (well that and to promote the Disney property they were broadcasting from.  Kelly wore a dress that look like a trout’s mouth, no necklace which was good…today she is doing her Oscar special (you know the one that Oprah used to do) with everyone’s fave…Neil Patrick Harris…I saw the dress she was to wear for it…not sure what I think yet…check back tomorrow.

-I finally found SELLING SPELLING MANOR Part 2 on the HGTV website…not as good as part one, but still worth watching.  Candy auctioned off her dolls and got 750K for them. Pretty impressive storage system with photos of everything in each box, boxes numbered and catalogued, but a ton of stuff to go through and get rid of.  She left her 57000 square foot house for a 17000 square foot 2 floor penthouse in Century City CA with a private swimming pool, conservatory and full balconies around the entire place.

Monday’s Oscar Night Trivia Question:  Hope you were paying attention:  Who opened the show?

Sorry this edition is so long…a lot to cover

-I finally got to watch the awesome season finale of DOWNTON ABBEY this morning (I don’t sleep much). It was worth the wait…so here is where we stand at this point: Mr. Bates (I didn’t even laugh while typing it) was found guilty of killing his wife and sentenced to death by hanging, but then was reprieved so now at this point it is life in prison, but I am guessing that at some point in Season 3, he will get out of prison and back to work at Downton.  Lady Grantham finally told her husband why her daughter had to marry the horrible Sir Richard and Lady Mary also told Matthew why she had to do it as well.  But both men told her that her happiness was more important than anything else, so in the end, what we have all been waiting for…no, not the servants ball, a marriage proposal…so I am hoping that next season, in addition to Mr. Bates release…from prison (ha ha ha…just had to do it) a beautiful Downton wedding…I came to the party late on this show…but seriously guys…now is your chance to catch up.  The first two seasons are short really…so try to catch up before Season 3…it’s worth it. I am not the only one who thinks so either… the finale delivered a record breaking  5.4 million viewers and a 3.5 HH rating, NOT including those viewing through station replays, DVRs or online streaming .  The finale’s overnight rating was the highest for a PBS program since the premiere of Ken Burns’s NATIONAL PARKS in September 2009.  For all of you that are fans already and begged me to watch this show…I found some cute facts about it online:
·         Elizabeth McGovern (Cora, Countess of Grantham) is in the band “Sadie and the Hotheads”
·         Jim Carter(Mr. Carson) does charity bike rides all over the world
·         Andrew Lloyd Webber tried to purchase Highclere Castle (Downton) to hold his art collection
·         The first season of DOWNTON ABBEY won 6 Emmy’s including outstanding miniseries or movie (not sure how that qualifies, since I would say it’s a show, not a miniseries)
·         DOWNTON ABBEY is in the Guinness Book of World Records for the show with the “Highest Critical review ratings for a TV Show” (no idea how they measure that one but interesting)
·         DOWNTON ABBEY was the second most popular show on TV the night of the SUPERBOWL
·         Google returns for DOWNTON ABBEY: 17,900,000
·         Google returns for DOWNTOWN ABBEY: 395,000  (I should know…I made this mistake for months)

-Have to give a shout out to COUGAR TOWN for the Howard Stern mention Wednesday night.  Most of the cast are big Howard fans, but Ellie was angry with Andy for forgetting to renew the satellite bill and being unable to listen to Howard…nice.  Also, good job in finding a way for Bobby to be shirtless for the second half of the episode.  Who knew he would look so good.

-Speaking of looking good…Kelly had her gorgeous husband Mark as her co-host on LIVE WITH KELLY yesterday.  The show still blows in Hawaii, and even though Kelly’s dress was terrible and they were both wearing flip flops, he was still very enjoyable to watch.  (Kristy’s rule…no flip flops for guys...nope…not ever…hope nobody is offended…we all have our things…that is one of mine)

-I really need to just delete the ONE TREE HILL season pass…you have to be kidding me…Lucas Scott aka Chad Michael Murray finally comes back…he has horrible hair, doesn’t do or say much, hugs Hailey, takes the kids and leaves…WHAT?  That’s it?  All of that for nothing?  So done…I can’t imagine that CMM was ultra busy with filming something else…why couldn’t he stay…get a haircut, find Nathan and hang back in the Hill…how many more episodes do I have to put up with before it’s over?

-Steve Buscemi directed a really great LEAP DAY episode of 30 ROCK last night.  Special guest appearances by Jim Carrey and Andie McDowell, and again the writers perform a slam dunk (well the Knicks weren’t) with the way they built Benihana into the storyline.  They are really awesome with their product integrations on that show.  This one was brilliant.

-Do we need to discuss the Knick game?  Hadn’t seen LeBron lately…not digging the Abraham Lincoln beard.  The Knicks got crushed…oh well…I watched in between a lot of good TV, it made the game way less painful.

-SMASH isn’t getting the buzz it should be.  It is really a good show that has a lot of layers, good music and isn’t just about a show on Broadway.  I think it takes time to build the foundation for this one, but it is building nicely and I am really enjoying it, especially Debra Messing who is doing a good job at making me forget that she was Grace from WILL & GRACE.

-PARKS & REC…what can I say…so good.  Rob Lowe’s hair and smile where just hmmm…yummy I guess.  Best line and honestly some just plain good advice came from the best character on the show…Ron Swanson, who said “Never half-ass 2 things…whole ass one thing”  Words of Wisdom…thanks Ron.

-Barring any major surprise with last night’s broadcast of AMERICAN IDOL, this week THE VOICE will most likely rate higher against A18-49 than AMERICAN IDOL. On Monday, THE VOICE delivered a 6.0 RA18-49 with 16 million viewers and on Wednesday night, AMERICAN IDOL delivered a 5.1 RA18-49 with 15.8 million viewers…even with adjustments…THE VOICE wins…not sure about last night…but THE VOICE seems to be THE SHOW…I don’t want to say anything but…I called this one, and I am loving the battle.

-I read about these crazy job titles that actually exist at Google…fun to share on a Friday:
·         Dance Program Manager-they teach dance & yoga to employees ( We sort of have this here at Verizon)
·         Nutritionist-insures that Google’s FREE food is healthy or that healthy options are provided (We have this too)
·         Food Scientist-These guys conduct experiments related to free food—example: the effect of putting M&M’s in clear vs. opaque containers (just a theory here…and I am not a scientist…PEOPLE WOULD EAT MORE OF THEM)
·         Childcare Center Preschool Teacher-that one made me say “WOW” out loud
·         Massage Therapist
·         Ergonomics Specialist-they make sure your workstation is adjusted right so you don’t get carpal tunnel or a bad back-I NEED THIS PERSON
·         Fitness Program Manager-(We have this here at Verizon)
·         Transportation Program Manager-coordinates commuter shuttles, on campus bikes and anything to help employees get around
·         Jolly Good Fellow-really…he teaches MINDFULNESS as part of a program called Search Inside Yourself
·         Green Team Lead
·         Intergalactic Federation King Almighty and Commander of the Universe.  This woman handles Google’s space projects.

- Another local television station, getting on board and embracing the social media space…KABC-TV in Los Angeles and Trendrr.TV are teaming up to spotlight the top 20 most talked about topics during the station's live coverage of the Oscars' red carpet this Sunday night. In a series of live segments, titled "Red Hot Right Now," on-air correspondents will tap Trendrr's real-time social media processing and conversation curation capabilities in order to cover the buzz surrounding the Academy Awards. If you're going to be away from the television set, you can access a live-stream of the "pregame show" at OnTheRedCarpet.com, as well as keep track of the Trendrr leaderboard while you watch.  Again…I spent 20 years on the local side of things, so special place in my heard for local TV stations that know what they are doing.
-I am not sure how I will be experiencing the OSCARS on Sunday…I know I want to use the official App, but I also want to Viggle, as there are 10,000 points up for grabs…that’s another free movie ticket!  Also, MTV is covering the Red Carpet in addition to all the usual coverage, so, I have a feeling it will look like NASA in my family room on Sunday night…plus…I always order Peking Duck for dinner…just thought you’d all want the visual…
