-This week LIVE WITH
KELLY is on location in Banff, Alberta Canada which looks like one of the
most beautiful places I have ever seen...if you are into mountains and snow and
stuff... On Monday's show, the Royal Canadian Mounties welcomed Kelly & her
beautiful, well dressed, extremely tan husband, Mark Consuelos to Canada.
Kelly looked like she was wearing a pajama top, but Mark was just
perfect. Mark went dog sledding...Mark was funny, Mark has a great
smile...seeing a trend here? Okay...I'll stop
- Sunday's ACMA's
started out a bit controversial when Blake Shelton made a joke about Randy
Travis's drinking...the audience really didn't like that at all...I felt bad for Blake...and
then I felt bad for his wife, because even though she won an award, her dress
was hideous! How in the world did Blake let her go out looking like that?
I love KISS, but what on earth were they doing at the ACMA's?
Kelly Clarkson and Jason Aldean won, for best single...Pretty much if you
performed...you won. Gotta say I have no idea what Mark Anthony was doing
presenting, but I have no complaints about Ashton Kutcher being there...he
looked cute in his country garb and sang pretty well too…all of the Country
Music award shows are good and all of the stars show up which is really nice of
them considering how many award shows they all have…they seem to like trophies
in Nashville.
-THE VOICE was
live last night...Adam shaved off all of his hair and apparently gave it all to
CeeLo who also wore a crazy red sequined 70's pantsuit with fringe... I so need
to find a photo of CeeLo's outfit. Christina really needs to get her
boobs done or at least a really supportive bra! In my opinion of the 12 total
performances, there were only 2 good ones...Jessie Campbell with It's a
Wonderful World and Erin Willett who sang Stevie Wonders' "Just enough for
the City"...the rest were either weird or terrible.
-BETHENNY went to
this store Water Works to pick out bathroom stuff for the new apartment, which
inspired me for about a minute to get started on my bathroom…then the moment
passed, thank goodness ...Nick the Food Blogger was back to drop off his
falafel blog. Nick looked skinnier, which is quite a feat to pull off for a
food blogger, even though he is awkward and odd, he is a really great writer… when
he read his blog aloud to Bethenny and Julie, it was actually pretty funny...guess
I better head over to the website to check it out. Just goes to
show...Book/Cover...you know what I mean. Bethenny was on THE TODAY SHOW with
Matt Lauer and then on ELLEN...didn't realize that Ellen owns Bethenny's upcoming
talk show. I loved how Ellen made fun of
the way Bethenny was bragging about how amazing Bryn speaks…yeah Ellen.
-In addition to Social
Media domination, his role on 2 ½ Men, his apparent ability to sing and wear
country garb pretty well, and producing shows for various networks, now we hear
that Ashton Kutcher is going to play
Steve Jobs in a movie. I actually think
it’s pretty fitting for Ashton, but then again, I think there isn’t anything
Ashton can’t do well…

-Oprah Winfrey was on the CBS MORNING SHOW on Monday...I guess
that's one good reason to hire Gayle King...she can always get Oprah as a guest...anyway,
O said that if she had any idea how difficult starting and running a network
would be, she would have made some different decisions. The Oprah Winfrey
Network is projected to lose 143 MILLLLLLION dollars this year...even for a
billionaire...that's got to sting...
-Pretty substantial increase in online movie views estimated for 2012 vs. 2011...I guess everyone
else isn't as angry with Netflix as I am.

THE OFFICE
AMC's second season premiere of The Killing on Sunday at 8p
averaged 1.8 million total viewers which was a decline from the 2.3 million
total viewers posted for the drama's season one finale last year. It’s
going to be tough to gauge things on Sunday nights for a week or two when
everything settles down, there is just so many GOOD choices now on Sunday’s. In
addition to THE KILLING, you have GAME OF THRONES, MAD MEN, ICE LOVES COCO,
CELEBRITY APPRENTICE. ONCE UPON A TIME, MOB WIVES and more…also this past
Sunday you had the ACMA’s, and the season finales of SHAMELESS, HOUSE OF LIES
and CALIFORNICATION…I mean that is an insane night of television.
-I can’t wait for the new
Aaron Sorkin, HBO show, NEWSROOM…the
first trailer is out and if the show is ½ as good as the trailer, then I smell
hit and EMMY’s galore…but then again, I thought that about LUCK and things didn’t
go so well there now did they? Check out
the trailer and let me know what you think:

-I don’t know much about news, but I of course love a juicy scandal…no idea what happened with Current TV and Keith Olbermann, but I am sure he is happy that his replacement, Elliot Spitzer only had 47,000 viewers in his debut on Friday night which was a 74% decrease. An another news front…this week Katie Couric is subbing for Robin Roberts on GMA while she is on vacation and over on the TODAY SHOW, Sarah Palin is on…everyone pulling out the stops and it isn’t officially sweeps or anything…
