Just a quick ratings comment for anyone interested.  The Voice went head to head with DWTS All Stars on Monday night and did a 4.3 vs a 2.7 against A18-49 BUT in total viewers DWTS All Stars delivered 14.5 million vs. 11.9 million for The Voice...spin it any way you want guys.

The Voice has been renewed for another 2 Seasons, but right now, I'm still focused on this one...
First up last night, Sylvia Yacoub: Sob Story Score 1 (left Egypt to follow her dreams) 3 out 4 chair turns, I thought her rendition of Rhianna's "Only Girl in the World sucked...Team Xtina
IJ Quinn: Sob Story Score 1 (works on a Pig Farm) I didn't  love his performance of "Virtual Insanity" at all, neither did anyone else...back to the farm dude!
Charlie Rey: Sob Story score 2 (works as a smog technician) sang Michael Buble's "Home" He's really cute, the girls loved him, 2 out of 4 chairs turned...Team Blake
Amanda Brown: sob story score 0 (All's pretty good in Amanda's world).  She sang "Valerie" pretty well.  1 out of 4 chairs turned...Team CeeLo.
Yolanda Farber: Sob Story Score 2 (had to quit singing because she lost her job and now drives a bus).  She's 55 Years old and sang "Get Here" perfectly and nobody turned around.  No idea why, she was really good way better than Sylvia Yacoub...I guess I would now raise her SSS to a 3.
Last performer of the night was Cassidy Pope. Sob Story Score 0 (Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy even sent her a message on a Sprint phone before her audition).  She sang "Torn" really well.  4 out of 4 chairs turned and she got a standing O from the judges...Team Blake

I had seen the pilot of Ben & Kate during the Upfronts, I rewatched it again last night when it premiered...it was very cute which is what it was when I watched it the first time.  It's the kind of show you can fold your laundry to or straighten up to.  You don't need to be 100% focused on it, but it's cute.  Not sure if it helps you make a decision to watch it or not, but that's the type of show it is.  Ben and Kate are brother and sister. He's goofy, she's not. She's a single bartender who has a 5 year old daughter (you'll recognize the kid when you see her), and they have 2 friends.  It's cute...that's pretty much it.

I was scared to watch Parenthood this week knowing that we are all now on this emotional breast cancer journey with Adam & Kristina.  I have 2 friends going through the exact same thing right now and this all just hits way to close to home. While it was a tear jerker, it also really captured how Kristina was feeling and helped for me to understand what my friends are REALLY going through in a different way.  I sort of think I can be a better friend knowing this.  Of course I did cry my eyes out but with Parenthood...you always do.  It also shows that even with all that Adam & Kristina are going through...life keeps going.  For them, and for everyone around them.  I'm still a little unclear about Ray Romano's character and where that storyline is headed. I don't like that Jason Ritter's not a bigger part of the plot these days.  Is Sarah going to end up falling for Ray?  I really hope not even though I like him.

And now the Dancing with the Stars report featuring WWTM Correspondent...Ed Ziskind

Dancing With The Stars – The Results Show” was preceded tonight by “Dancing With The Stars – The Extra Hour of Disney Revenue Show”.  What would have been a great 5-minute package for the Results Show was extended to an hour-long, mildly uncomfortable live interview show where the couples gabbed with Tom why they decided to come back to the ballroom.  Disappointingly, no one said anything like “because I didn’t get a talk show the first time around like Ricki Lake did”.  Gilles at least acknowledged that he got some real acting work after the first round and made sure to plug his current show (no – I won’t play ball Gilles – sorry).

Tom asked pros Mark Ballas and Cheryl Burke how it feels to see their former partners dancing with other pros.  It’s a good story line that didn’t exist in prior seasons, and something I was wondering myself.  Thanks again Emmy Award Winner Tom Bergeron!

On to the Results Show, where we get a behind-the-scenes look at what happened the night before.  Justin Beiber and Pit Bull did their things, but the hottest moment was the pros kicking it off with an outstanding routine.

More interesting than who got knocked off in week one was who didn’t.  Season 2 winner Drew Lachey in the bottom two is either a wakeup call for all couples that this truly is anyone’s game…  or a sign of how quickly things change.  Drew was extremely popular when he took the prize in season two – perhaps not so much this time around.

Donnie Osmond isn’t the only person missing from All-Stars.  Mario Lopez should be on the show too!  That dude was intense on the dance floor!  I read he may be partnering up with Khloe Kardashian as co-host on X-Factor – which I guess is the type of gig he wanted to get when he did the show in the first place.  I’m sure he would have said that when Tom asked him, right?

Another great report Ed...keep um coming!

My future best friend, Jimmy Fallon was on Live WITH Kelly and Michael (just put the "with" back guys...really...it's weird without it) on Tuesday.  He was there to talk about his new show, Guys With Kids, and since it was "Bow Wow" week on Live, he brought his new puppy, Gary (a girl btw) on the show.  Kelly was ready for a rematch of the Rock, Paper Scissors, Pie game he started with her on HIS show.  Lots of goo was dumped all over Jimmy, but as always, he had a good time with it and was a great sport.  I'll play Rock, Paper, Scissors Pie with you Jimmy...JUST COME OVER. There's a new Ben & Jerry's flavor, Cannoli,  I'm dying to try.
When it was announced that Bethenny Frankel's show got picked up it wasn't such big news, which surprised me and she has been laying kind of low lately.  I'm sure there will be a huge PR/Marketing push when the show launches in 2013, but in reading more about it yesterday, I now understand that at this point the show has only been picked up to run on 17 Fox stations around the country and won't be seen nationally...yet.  As you know, I do like Bethenny from her days on both of her Bravo shows, but I hated her daytime talk show.  Interesting to see how she does when she gets a bit of a bigger audience.

For all of you Bachelor fans, they announced that Sean Lowe will be the next Bachelor when the show is back in January.  I know nothing about The Bachelor, but my boss Elizabeth, was happy to see that Sean was chosen for the next season.  She really likes him and thought he was pretty normal.  Couldn't tell ya, but I trust her.

Wednesday's Trivia Question: Everyone knows Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor, but who was the brains behind that operation?  The real handyman.
