First and foremost...Thanks to Lord Voldemort the Yankees won last night, YEAH...stressful game, but a win is a win...one more...that's all we need.

Next...at 8pm last night when some of you were watching or DVR'ing Hart of Dixie on the CW...I WASN'T!  I thought about who Zoey would choose, George or Wade.  I wondered if Lemon would run right into the arms of Lavon.  I cursed the Dolan's again and contemplated NOT sending my $173.14 this month.  Then I thought that the CW probably only represented a fraction of that amount but you can't really put a price on pain and suffering...I WANT MY CW!!!!  This situation really sucks!

The Voice was a bogus filler episode recapping all of the  blind audition episodes we JUST watched.  Sure there were promises of "never before seen footage" but that was the last 4 minutes of the show and most of that was CeeLo's rented parrot.  Since I hate birds, I skipped that section and watched the entire show in about 5 minutes.

And now...the DANCING WITH THE STARS REPORT by WWTM correspondent, Ed Ziskind:

Shouldn’t “Dancing With The Stars – The All Star Season” just be called “Dancing With The All-Stars”?

Tonight’s “Defining Dances” special was unnecessary and another hour I lost so that Disney/ABC could cash in a bit more.  If you insist on these specials, drop them in on a Friday night where they belong.

Macy’s Stars Of Dance – Occupational hazard.  I can’t watch it.  It bothers me thinking about how much they must have paid for that sponsorship and what I could do for them with all that sponsorship money to spend.

The best thing about the results show is seeing the story behind the story.  Emmitt relayed in his package that he’s not intimidated by an actor, a speed skater and a race car driver.  The results show got the video of him listening to the package being played in the studio and also happened to have the actor (Giles Marini), speed skater (Apolo Anton Ohno) and the race car driver (Helio Castrovenes) standing next to each other reacting to this comment.  They didn’t seem to like it, which made for great TV.

Seeing the dancers react to judge Carrie Ann Inaba’s smack down from the prior night of Bristol Palin was priceless too.  Oh Carrie Ann – nothing you can say to Bristol is going to make a difference.  Her weak performance and resulting low score as expected meant nothing as the republifans (sic) kept her in the competition at the expense of a middle-of-the-packer (SPOILER ALERT – ELIMINATED STAR TO BE REVEALED SHORTLY).

No surprise exit for Sabrina Bryan this time.  Emmitt Smith survives his mild performance.  Drew Lachey hangs on after a “bottom two” scare last week.  Kristie Alley will get to do her cha cha.  Bristol got the votes she needed.

it’s Joey Fatone packing the pages – who despite saying that it’s all about having fun, seemed to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder from the judges criticism the night before.

Next week, the stars were challenged to step up their game.  It’s also a double elimination week.  And I suspect they’ll make me sit through a one hour special of what the Stars like to eat for dinner. And as your WWTMDWTS correspondent, I’ll be watching every minute of it.  Until then!!

Ben & Kate is a cute show.  Is it "Must See TV"? No, but it's very cute.  Ben's teeth are awful and really need to be fixed if they get a full season order.  Maddie's also very cute  and not annoying (take note Lily from Modern Family).  The real star of the show is Lucy Punch (great name) who plays BJ (yep...great name again because now I can say...hee hee hee, her name is BJ) who steals every scene she's in with her accent and her hilarity.  In this episode, we find out that Kate lied about where she lived to get Maddie into her old elementary school.  Of course everyone finds out, and of course they get sent to the principal (Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day Off) and of course he gives her a voucher and every things fine.  Again, not must see TV, but cute.

I decided that since NBC gave a full order to Matthew Perry and Go On, the show seems to be delivering decent ratings and Brett Blattman's asked me to,  I would give this one another try and check it out again.  In this episode, Matthew Perry's dead wife is hangin in his place  and told him to go food shopping and cook...basically move on.  We know things are bad because the only thing in his house is bad milk that he drinks and spits out twice.  Did you ever notice that whenever people drink milk on TV its out of a glass bottle that we can't really get at Shop Rite in Tenafly NJ and usually when people drink milk on TV it's bad and they spit it out.  Net net, I just don't love this show. I'm happy that Matthew Perry has what seems to be a successful show on his hands, I just don't really care that much about it.

I also gave The New Normal another shot last night.  Again, America seems to be watching, it's getting decent numbers (no word from Brett on this one) and I really am only excited by the beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog on the show.  I just feel like Ryan Murphy has to make everyone SO annoyingly out there and different.  The writing is good and there are some great lines, but for me it just doesn't hold my attention.

What does hold my attention is Parenthood.  The great thing about this show isn't the huge storylines or controversial issues, it's really about the little moments in life.  It's about having to explain what the "N" word is to your son, which Jasmine did so beautifully, but that wasn't even why it was so good.  It was good because Crosby face when he realized that he REALLY didn't understand the impact of the word.  It's about Adam's face when he sees Kristina helping Max run for Student Council President, knowing it's going to hurt him.  It's about Camille's look when she thinks her husband and his sprinkler obsession is insane and of course it's a look that I am familiar with...the look of a Dad playing catch with his son.  It's the little (and the big) moments that Parenthood just does so perfectly that makes this show so special.  This week, a side note...Friday Night Lights cast member alert...Luke Cafferty as a young soldier just home from Afghanistan.  I didn't cry for the entire episode this week, but then the scenes for next weeks "very special episode" got me.

Quick Live (with) Kelly & Michael comment...yesterday was Kelly Ripa's birthday and what did Michael Strahan give her? Another one of those hideous Tom Binns necklaces that I hate...I believe the count at this point is 3.  This one is just as ugly as the other two and still doesn't match most of Kelly's Live wardrobe...maybe it matches her home wardrobe? No idea...hideous though either way.

At least I'm not the only freak that continues to watch Real Housewive of NJ regardless of how ridiculous it is...close to 6 million people watched part one of the reunion Sunday.  6 million nut jobs like me who apparently all love a good train wreck.

In addition to Go On and The New Normal getting full season orders over at NBC Revolution did too.  So congrats NBC, and Matthew Perry...finally another full season for you.

Boardwalk Empire fans can rejoice, 4th season is a go!

116.5 million people owned smartphones during the June-August time frame.  This is up 6% over the previous 3 month period.  Android is still in the lead with a 52.6% market share (up 1.7%) and of course Apple is next with 3.3% market share (up 2.4%) and as per the last few reports, RIM is still third but plummeting even further (I just got rid of my Blackberry as a matter of fact) RIM dropped from 11.4% to 8.3% market share in the past 6 months. 53.4% of Mobile subscribers downloaded an App (for me...it's all about the game Flow) 52% used a browser and 38.3% accessed a social network or blog (WWTM perhaps?).

October is sort of a boring month with the exception of Halloween, so with the Emmy contest over, lets get the refer a friend contest back and see how many new readers you can all send my way by Halloween...there is of course a prize...Just send me their email address, or have them send it to me saying that you referred them and whoever gets credit for the most email addresses submitted  by 10/31 wins the prize...

Wednesday's Trivia Question: Danny, Uncle Jesse, Joey, DJ, Michelle and...name the missing family member.
