I forced myself to go to Yoga last night before getting cozy with Adam Levine and the other judges on The Voice. All of them wore the same outfits as they did on Monday's show, with the exception of CeeLo, who donned a hat and became a bleached version of the Gorton's Fisherman. Adam's 5 O'clock shadow stayed at 5 through the whole show this time and Drooptina, I mean Xtina still didn't add a new Wacoal bra or spanx to her wardrobe. Not sure if you remembered the extremely confident, sassy Domo from the blind auditions, but she was up first last night against the very cute Cody. I have no idea who I thought did a better job because all I could focus on were the GIGANTIC neon oval earrings that Domo was wearing. (see photo) It just looked silly. How do you even pack those things? Do they have their own suitcase? Who told her she was TV ready? Well, I will say this, the earrings didn't help her make it through to the next round, but they still have me talking, so maybe in one way her devious earring strategy did work. Blake was making gaga eyes when Natalie performed, but he didn't steal her and make her his own after Sagtina chose Aquile to continue on. They did a couple of Fast Forward performances so Toyota Celica went through and so did the guy that looks like Meat Loaf. Last performance of the night was Caitlin vs Melanie the big bow, big gap between the teeth, chick. I didn't like either one of them but they all seemed to love Melanie and then Caitlin was stolen by CeeLo...poor Blake, nobody ever goes with him.
I have to apologize and be honest...I fell asleep somewhere in the middle of Ben and Kate, so I have nothing else to tell you about last nights shows. That's what happens when I force myself to go to Yoga...it makes me ultra sleepy. Well, at least Ed actually watched last nights Dancing With the Stars and filed this report for us...

More awards show news, Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory (Do you know I've NEVER seen one episode of BBT...never) will again host the People's Choice Awards 2013 for her second consecutive year. The show will air live on CBS on January 9th. Beginning October 23, fans will have the chance to pare down the selection of nominees in more than 40 categories.
Louis C.K.'s series Louis will be taking a long break as Season 4 will not debut until the Spring of 2014. So for all of us that never got on the Louis bandwagon, we now have plenty of time to catch up, just like we did for Breaking Bad. I think I just might do that. Need to check if it's available anywhere for free...
With all of this original content popping up in so many different places, I was curious about YouTube's original programming initiatives. I found some numbers that were pretty interesting. The top 25 original channels average over a million views a week. 800 million viewers are watching 4 billion hours every month. That's a LOT of YouTube!
This doesn't tell me how late, late is. It also doesn't tell me if most of what these night owls are watching is porn.

Ed's Dancing with the Stars report:
Last night was the results episode of the best night of dancing on Dancing With The Stars ever. We know it was the best night ever because Tom and the judges kept telling us. But who am I to argue? It was top notch and indeed did have the feel of a finals competition after just three weeks. The producers are obviously pulling out all the stops to make it the best season ever and creatively, it’s working.
Derek and Shawn, who despite losing points for breaking some dance rules, were selected not only as the best dance of last night but the best dance on the show – ever! They got the encore.
In the first half of the show, Tom and Brooke moved next to the couples to tell them their fate. Their position on stage was awkward but I think it worked well enough for the producers to try it again. It was interesting that only Brooke revealed to stars that they were “in jeopardy” when she stood next to Kirstie and Drew. It would be great if Brooke is consistently chosen as the bearer of bad news. Stars might start running away as she draws closer!
Drew was eliminated before other stars fates were revealed. Behind the scenes footage revealed he had just about enough of the confusing judges scores. But as they all say, he had fun.
Len dubbed Bristol’s dance her best but while it was her best of the season, it was the worst of the night. Doesn’t matter. She stays. Tom was back on the sidelines when he told her that she was safe. Sabrina and Helio were the only ones left and it was Helio who got the boot – with a more graceful exit (and a shout out to his Indy Car sponsors – well done sir!) than Drew.
At the end of the episode, the stars picked dances for each other. This has great potential for next week – stay tuned!
For those keeping track – I correctly predicted Helio and Drew to be going home this week. Next week, I’ll see if I can continue to correctly handicap the results!
Ps – Kelly Monaco and Val are definitely doing it! I mean, I don’t have any proof. But they are!
I know it's early in the season, but I love all of the ratings info that comes out at this time of the year, and since I have to analyze it everyday for work anyway figured I'd share...so far for the first two weeks of the 12/13 Fall Season, NBC (yes...NBC) is in first place against RA18-49 with a 2.8, FOX and CBS both delivered a 2.4, ABC a 2.1, Univision a 1.4 and the CW a .3 but remember most of the CW's shows haven't premiered yet. As far as total viewers goes...CBS leads with 10.5 million (it's all of those NCIS people bringing up the average), ABC with 8 million, NBC with 7.8 million, FOX with 6.1, Univision with 3.2 and 800K for the CW, but again, no new shows yet and that darn issue with Cablevision is haunting them (and me) too.
