No Snow White, no Emma, no Henry and no Regina in this weeks Once Upon A Time...and yet we didn't really miss them at all.  This week, the show focused on Rumplestilskin/Mr. Gold. Lots of jumping back and forth as always but I think I got the story. Rumple was a super coward back in Fairytale land, a complete embarrassment and his wife Milla was so nauseous by him that she left him, and their kid, to see the world with this hot sailor who wears a ton of eye makeup, named Killian Jones.  I'm not sure but a guy that I thought would be Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk, had this magic bean and Killian got his hands on it.  After Rumple becomes evil, he goes back to find Killian and learns that his wife is dead, but when they finally duel, Milla shows up and Rumple takes her heart and kills her and subsequently, thinking that Killian has the magic bean, cuts his hand off. Killian jabs a hook that just so happens to be laying around, into Rumple but Rumple just disappears and the hook falls to the ground.  Killian takes the hook and later uses it in place of his now missing hand...hence the name Hook.  Flash forward to current times and the hot Captain Hook, has hooked up with Cora, Regina's super evil Mom to come to Storybrooke and wreak havoc on everyone.  While all this was going on as a flashback, everyone in Storybrooke was looking for Belle who ran away from Mr. Gold because he's still a coward. She found her Dad who tried to send her away in an Indiana Jones mine shaft roller coaster ride so she'd forget Grumple but of course his magic brought her back to him.  He gave her the Library and she's staying in Storybrooke but pissed at both of them.  Oh before I end here...did any of you guys know that Prince Charming and Snow are dating in real life? I read about it this weekend.  How funny would that story be if they end up married for like 50 years and tell their grandkids that Snow White actually married Prince Charming and they lived happily ever after?

Holy cow, I am really confused by Revenge!  Okay so lets see if I got this straight.  Nolan who was gay last season, and continues to wear a pink sports jacket is no longer gay and totally into Padma. All security software in the world is somehow tied back to Nolcorp so Nolan can pretty much see everything everywhere...pretty convenient for Amanda/Emily right?  Now, a VERY pregnant Emily/Amanda, leaves Jack's place and moves in with Amanda/Emily.  Victoria has embraced her so quickly that she needs to throw her a baby shower, which is fine because it gets her a 100K payoff for the journal that she has that Victoria obviously wants so desperately.  Of course the result is that Emily/Amanda has an "accident" (no really it was an accident) and falls off the balcony on to a pretty soft marble floor because both Mom and baby are still alive, and most likely well, as per scenes from next week.  Lastly, Aidan finds Amanda's cuckoo for cocoa puffs Mom, and she shows up at the hospital to comfort her almost dead daughter, but when the real Amanda sees her Mom comforting the wrong person, she has a crazy flashback that reveals that her Mom tried to drown her when she was little.  In addition to all that...Daniel found out that Ashley is working for his Dad but sleeps with her anyway...you know what they say, keep your friends close blah blah blah...There's also this new "thing" called THE INITATIVE (Dharma???) which I guess we will find out about soon enough, and last but not least...Nolan found out that his Dad died and was so upset about it that the king of security left his computer on and a key out on his desk that of course Padma takes and finds a scrapbook and a whole bunch of other stuff that she shows to Nolan.  I don't trust this Padma one bit and...is Nolan gay or not? Nothing wrong with it, I just need to know.

If I wasn't exhausted from watching Revenge, Homeland sure took a lot out of me.  David Estes and Saul got Carrie and Virgil and the original surveillance team from Season 1 back together to keep an eye on Brody. They added a cute guy to lead the team who looks familiar to me...note to self...IMDB that guy. Anyway... Brody saw Carrie and he knew something was up, so he reached out to her and had her over to his hotel, where he now lives after being kicked out by Jess, who really wants to be with his ex bff, Mike. Carrie and Brody met up, had a drink and said goodnight, but Carrie freaked out and thought that Brody knew the scoop. So again...she went rogue and went to his hotel room where he admitted to the truth, the feds broke in, put a hood on him and took him to a secret place.  It all happened so fast, I didn't realize it would all go down like that.  I thought we would watch and stalk him for a few episodes.  Now that Brody's in custody the story will go in a whole new direction.  While all of that was going on, Brody's other friend, Louder (perfect name for him since he's always yelling), the one not sleeping with his wife, is still obsessed with the death of Brody's partner Walker and just can't let it go, but now, Mike sort of believes what he's saying. Next week's episode looks so juicy.  Can't wait.

Second to last episode of Married to Jonas and the family is still in Italy stomping on grapes, eating and shopping.  Kevin was supposed to leave the trip early for some work obligation, but his wife is SO fragile that he stayed and finished the trip.  They walked, they talked and he told Dani that he isn't a mind reader (he's JoBro) and he needs her to tell him when she's freaking out.  She knows and she finally reveals that she is really nervous about the upcoming tour.  She just wants to hang out in Jersey, cook dinner and chill with the family...really??? Then why in the world did you marry Kevin Jonas?  I hope they stay together, but odds are big time against them.

Sorry for the delayed Vampire Diaries report, but unfortunately online and delayed, is the only way I get to watch the show these days.  Elena is really having a hard time with this vampire thing.  While she smells the blood, wants the blood and needs the blood, she can't seem to hold down the blood.  I've always imagined that the blood tastes like liquid red velvet cupcakes, but guessing it doesn't come close or she'd be able to hold it down.  This problem she's having is really taking it's toll on her wardrobe.  She ruined a few really nice outfits this week.  Since there are so many vampires in town, you'd think there would be a dry cleaner who specializes in blood stains, but I don't think one of these has found its way to Mystic Falls yet so Elena just keeps throwing her bloody clothes in the garbage. The writers finally found a reason to keep Matt around...food for Elena. Matt is pretty much THE only human left in Mystic Falls, and it's his blood she can actually stomach.   So now Matt walks around with a giant bandage on his neck looking like he's dating...well, a vampire. The new vampire hunter, Conrad, saw that bandage and knew something wasn't right.  I liked the old vampire hunter, Alaric, better.  Bonnie seemed a bit useless this week.  Black magic has a history of exhaustion on anyone who seems to use it so she couldn't help anyone at all after accidentally killing her grandmother using it.  Jeremy's seeing things again.  This time it's the vampire hunters  tattoos.  I couldn't see them, Matt couldn't see them, but good ol Jer could.  You know this super power will come in handy sooner or later.

I'm a bit hopeful now that Cablevision and Dish came to an agreement yesterday.  I guess with the huge audience that watched The Walking Dead last week, these two companies thought it would be a good idea to work out their differences.  Dish agreed to pay AMC and Cablevision 700 million bucks and entered into a new multi year agreement to air the AMC Networks (AMC, IFC, Sundance and WE).   Now that the Dolan's are getting some dough in from AMC, maybe they could open their hearts to Tribune and get my CW shows back soon! Come on guys...PLEASE???

This was my favorite sketch from SNL the other night.  We already knew Bruno Mars was talented, but no idea he was so awesome at musical impressions.

The cancellation of Private Practice by ABC came as a complete surprise to me.  While I wasn't sure about it, I thought some other shows would be cancelled before this one was.  Kate Walsh was definitely leaving, I guess the producers and the networks felt that this show couldn't go on without her or that it just wasn't worth

According to Break Media:
  • 80% of men are streaming content from free websites
  • 63% are doing so using internet-connected gaming consoles.
  • 63% of men are streaming content via tablets and smartphones
  • 54% of respondents agreed that these devices as are their "primary source of entertainment
  • 74% for respondents said that they watched recorded TV
  • same percentage also indicated that they watch the same or more live TV
TVI saw this video over the weekend...it's called THE ONLY 8 TYPES OF TV SHOWS THAT GET MADE...it's hilarious. Check it out:

I haven't been watching Live (with) Kelly & Michael religiously these days.  I sort of feel guilty about it.  I Tivo it everyday and I catch up on episodes over the weekend only if the guests are of interest.  I watched the Michelle Obama episode over the weekend and it seems like things are going pretty well for MIchael and Kelly.  On this particular show, Kelly's outfit was really nice and  Michael's tie coordinated nicely. MIchael still needs some work on his interviewing skills, he sort of seems over prepared and in need to get to everything he has on the list in head, but I'm sure he will continue to make progress and get better and better.  He's great at making fun of himself, and allowing himself to be put into humiliating situations.  His enormity is just always amusing especially since Kelly just seems to get smaller and smaller. Ratings wise, the show is doing well and up year over year.  I'll continue to check in regularly, but, I have to admit, the auditioning process was more interesting.  Now that I know how it all turned out it's not as much fun.

Monday's Trivia Question: Private Practice is a spinoff of what show?
