So the premise of this weeks episode of Hart of Dixie was a bachelor basket auction fundraiser and of course since its Bluebell, everyone ended up with the wrong basket...of course they did. Lavon was supposed to be with Ruby but ended up with Lemon. Lemon was supposed to be with Will but he ended up with an old woman. George did end up with Tanzi, but Wade ended up with Magnolia instead of Zoe...OY so annoying! I know that all of the couples can't just get together and live happily ever after on any show, but I'm not going to do well if every week it's a back and forth game between them all. With Wade and Zoey, you knew that one of them, or maybe both of them, would want more than a "friends with benefits" arrangement, but seeing Wade be the brooding guy pining away for a real relationship (first no less) is just wrong. Seeing George Tucker loosen up a bit with Tanzi (who had a one night stand with Jax in episode 4 of my new favorite show, Sons of Anarchy) was actually a nice change. It was even cute to see Brick with that shopaholic chic, but I draw the line with Lavon and Ruby. I want her gone! Now that they have declared their love for each other, things don't look good for Lemon, Lavon or me! I will say that whoever is dressing all of the Bluebell townspeople is doing a great job in getting quality, contemporary clothes at what I'm sure are reasonable prices. Zoey had on an amazing jacket, Brick had on a really nice shirt for his picnic and even George was dressed pretty nice. Oh and one more thing...Pretty sure that it's now two weeks in a row of Wade keeping his clothes on...not cool at all.
On The Voice, another new shirt for Adam Levine on last nights live episode. Drooptina was sporting a "Beauty School Drop Out" pink wig, along with a ton of glitter. CeeLo chucked Mrs. Ropers schmatta and donned the black sequined jacket my grandmother wore to my cousin's wedding many years ago. Before we found out who was sent home, quite a few great performances to sit through. NeYo (who I always confuse with Usher) did "Girl Let Me Love You". Trevin and Terry sang "I Feel Again". One of my favorites, Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20...performed with Nicholas and Trevin, then, my favorite part of the night actually...The Voice Confessional, where everyone imitated the judges. Very cute, but I can't find the video anywhere to post it. So after all of the performances the two people sent packing were...Melanie Martinez...YEAHHHHHH I am SO glad she's gone, but then the shocker of the night...Amanda Brown was also sent home. I thought she had a great shot of winning the entire thing, now Adam and Droopy have no acts left in the finals. Good news for me though...my top 2, Terry and Nicholas are going to the semi finals!
We knew that Sarah and Mark were not going to work out on Parenthood. We knew it was coming and we finally got what we didn't ask for. Although I think I could like Sarah with Hank, but she sabotage's every relationship so guessing Hank won't last either, unless Ray Romano wants to stay on and then...maybe??? So there was a fun moment when we met Hank's ex-wife Sandy who happened to be Marie from Breaking Bad who...is married to Hank on that show too!. (For the record she wasn't wearing any purple). Mark found out that Sarah lied to him about the LA trip and he was outta there with an "I love you but I just can't do this anymore" exit. Kristina was smoking dope when Julia showed up for parenting advice. I loved her bribery candy kit. I could get into that. Amber asked her Uncle Joel to find some work for Ryan and of course he was a disaster, went home and popped some pills. The battle with the nasty neighbor and the Luncheonette could have gone really bad when photos of Crosby peeing in the alley surfaced, but Crosby, not Adam surprisingly enough, saved the day in court by bringing all the neighbors as character witnesses. They won the case and ended up being able to finish the session with the guy from Once who plays the guitar with all of the holes in it. The scenes from next week look brutal, I could start crying now...OY I hate the "very special episode" especially when it has Adam at Kristina's bedside begging her not to leave him...are you crying yet?
On last night's Watch What Happen's Live, Andy's guests were Lisa Rinna and Jeff Lewis and it was hilarious. The lips were the story of the evening. Lisa kissed Andy, then Lisa kissed Jeff and Jeff kissed Andy. Jeff also said that he and Jenny are still friends, still working together but yes, he is suing her for breaching the non disclosure agreement they have.
NEWS & INFORMATION:
*Good news for Michael Richards, a JOB! TV Land has cast him in a pilot called Giant Baby. Also cast Kirstie Alley and Rhea Perlman. Michael Richards would play Kirstie's limo driver. While I'm sure Michael Richards isn't starving to death, I'm betting he could use a job and hopefully he can move away from the controversy and into a new phase of his career.
*Disney lost a HUGE lawsuit over profits from Who Wants to be a Millionaire profits. Apparently Mickey and friends hid some profits from the shows creator and now needs to pay up to the tune of 319 million bucks!
*What do Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Oscar winner Ben Affleck, Olympian Gabby Douglas and Honey Boo Boo have in common? They all made Barbara Walters 10 Most Fascinating People Primetime Special...yes...you read it right, Honey Boo Boo is on the freaking list. Barbara's lost it, that's all I can think of. Honey Boo Boo Barbara? OMG ridiculous.
*Anderson Cooper went blind for 36 hours on assignment in Portugal. Apparently he sunburned his eyes off of the reflection on the water. Pretty scary but he was okay enough to tweet his photo!
