How I Met Your Mother
FINALLY something for all of us to sink our teeth into...a glimpse of Ted and Mom in the future, visiting The Farhampton Inn with one baby in tow and one on the way. Better than that, now we know the kids names!!! 5 points guys...give me those names for 5 points each.  Mom went into labor on a visit to The Farhampton Inn. It was an episode of big revelations, as Barney drank so much the night before his wedding, he got to the telling the truth level (this is after the Jabba the Hut level and the level I get to first) where we finally learned what he does for a living. He's working for the guy who stole his girlfriend as a graduate of the Amanda Clarke School of Revenge apparently. He's keeping it simple though, no big murder plots, just working with the Feds. I wonder what he'll do after that? Guess we'll never know unless there's another spin-off coming our way that we know nothing about.  Marshall needed to "bang" Lily for as long as possible so that they wouldn't have to have their big fight, but of course that did happen and Lily ran off with someone in a car. Very good episode. I could go on and on with trivia questions, but since the shows ending in March, I'm saving them all for my tribute weeks leading up to the series finale.

Hart of Dixie
I'm never going to dump this show, but it's getting ultra hokey and sort of boring. Joel's settled in to the Bluebell way of life pretty easily, people are accepting him, he knows all the gossip and everyone has just stepped back and let Zoey and Joel just be. Wade's dating Zoey's cousin, and Zoey doesn't seem like she cares about Wade or George Tucker anymore. I guess I'm a sucker for a good love triangle, but it has to be a good one. George, Tanzy and Lindley...don't care. Did I know that the name of George's houseboat is "The Circle Line?" Funny. This whole storyline about Fillmore and Bluebell merging together bugs me and Lemon on an Ipad is actually better than Lemon anywhere else. Sorry Jaime King. Zoey's musical "One Cellular Sensation" was cute, but too cute if you know what I mean. That's what Hart of Dixie is,  too cute, too sweet, too hokey and yet, I'll keep watching it.

Hollywood Game Night
Yeah Hollywood Game night is back! This weeks celebrity players, Tom Lennon, Retta, Alyssa Milano, Mario Lopez, Michael Chiklis & Paget Brewster. Funny how truly freaked out Mario seemed having to go up against his boyhood crush, Alyssa Milano. I think Alyssa Milano was every boy's boyhood crush.  Anyway they added 2 new cool new games to the repertoire. In the first one, they showed pictures of game board pieces and you had to guess the game. I got them all right except for the Parcheesi piece.I can't even believe I remembered Parcheesi. Not one of my faves at all. Battleship, Life, Clue, Candyland, sure, but Parcheesi. Gotta give Mario credit for knowing the Risk piece. I knew that one too, and what's weird...I've NEVER played Risk...EVER!  Clue Boom was another new game where you had to describe words based on a theme before a bowl of confetti exploded. I love this show. I really need a cocktail and a place on that couch. C'mon Jane Lynch...give me a shot.

Betrayal Series Finale
I couldn't be any more annoyed at the way this freaking show ended. Vic's in jail for trying to kill Sara. Okay that's fine. Sara lost all that blood, and we're supposed to believe she's fine. No brain damage, nothing. Karsten killed himself, okay, that's fine too. Drew's running for Congress, makes sense, I'm good with that. TJ found his long lost sister at some truck stop all by himself. Stopped by, gave her half his money hit the road for San Francisco. Whatever. Elaine desperately needed a manicure, did you see her chipped black nail polish? What was with that? Still fine, I let it go, she had a funeral to plan, a kid in jail and college tours with her daughter. But when it came down to Sara and who she was going to spend the rest of her life with...NOTHING. They both drink red wine, so it's up to me to decide who met her for dinner and made her smile like that? I'm going with Jack. That's what I wanted, the writers apparently left it up to me. So Jack and Sara it is. NOT HAPPY guys.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Did we know that Kyle Richards converted to Judaism, has Shabbat dinners at her home and is throwing her daughter a Bat Mitzvah? Not to be mean, and I hope I don't offend anyone here, but Kyle is the most non-Jewish, Jew I've ever seen. I mean I really didn't know that about her and was seriously shocked. I knew Mauricio was Jewish because Andy Cohen always mentions it, but had no idea that Kyle was too. Happy to have her in my tribe, but she's got shiksa written all over her.  Brandi had a book signing in her hometown and took Yolanda with her to help make amends her Dad. She's still using the missing dog as the reason why she's such a disaster. Carlton's hiring strippers and pole dancers for a party she's having. That girl's is crazier than crazy, cuckoo for cocoa puffs, cray, cray, cray. Last bit of ridiculousness was Joyce's boxing class gathering.  All of these women showed up wearing as little as possible. There were boobs, real and fake, all over the place. It was a hot mess.
Other Stuff

-Record numbers for both Championship football games on Sunday. Final ratings aren't in yet because everyone but Verizon employees was off yesterday, but here's what I do know:
  • Both games were the most watched conference championship games in more than 30 years.
  • The 49ers/Seahawks game averaged 55.9 million viewers to and was the 5th most watched conference championship game ever
  • The Patriots/Broncos game averaged 51.3 million viewers and ranked as the third most watched AFC Championship game ever

Tuesday's Trivia Question: Michael Chikilis starred in The Commish. What was his name in that show?

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Are you getting sick of me writing about the women of Beverly Hills? Or me being sick of ME writing about the women of Beverly Hills? Same old same old right? The woman were still in Palm Springs. Brandi was sh*t faced drunk and still making trouble for everyone.  All of these women are over 40 and use every opportunity possible to have their boobs flow out of their tank tops. Kyle had her mega-crystal necklace on and Carlton kept on telling everyone how she can't stand drama. REALLY? She also supposedly had no idea that Kim was in Escape to Witch Mountain. COME ON CARLTON! Everyone knows that! When we first met Carlton I thought she was nuts but I was intrigued by her, now I want to punch her in the face. Kim is out of her mind...and feeding disease filled squirrels right from her hands. The girls were obsessed and acted like they never saw a squirrel before...and then...Brandi's house was broken into and her dog went missing and Brandi had a nervous breakdown. I know...I know...I gotta give it up...it's like Crack. I know it's bad for me and I just can't stop.

Getting On
I'm still watching the HBO show, Getting On. Anyone watching it? There's only 6 episodes, I think that's why I'm sticking with it. That, and the acting is amazing. Laurie Metcalf, Niecy Nash and an actress named Alex Borstein. Alex's has been in a ton of animated shows like Cleveland Show, Family Guy and Robot Chicken. According to IMDB she was also in Gilmore Girls, but I don't remember her at all. She steals the show and makes the subject matter, geriatrics in a rehab facility, a bit more palatable. Laurie Metcalf's character, Jenna,  is so unlikeable and yet as much as I hate her and everyone else hates her, you can't help but feel sorry for her. I feel even more sorry for Nurse Dawn, OMG is she depressing and delusional all at the same time. The shows SO tough to watch and so oddly interesting that I just think I have to finish it out and stick with it. It's an unexplainable phenomenon.

Betrayal
See, eventually real life sets in and your hot soul mate is helping you mop up water in your loft, admitting to all the bad stuff he's done and pouring out all of his problems. Jack's son Vick is one of them. He's trying to get himself killed crossing the street, because he says he knows who killed Lou. Drew's back to obsessing over Karsten and Jack's telling his story to the press. Mysterious thing with Aidan and the cops not sure I know the deal there, but when Jack dug into it for Elaine he found out the truth and told her. She proceeded to get her scary Daddy and scare the crap out of Aidan and then...dump him. I like her. Jack rented Sarah a house on the river...a really nice, gorgeous place. A little fast in my opinion, but amazing nonetheless. Drew told Sarah about his suspicions about Jack, but Sarah figured out that there was NO way that he could have done it. Thing is she figured it out at the EXACT same time he confessed. WTF? James Cromwell aka Karsten is an awesome mean guy. One of the best I've seen in a long time.  Hey ABC people, please confirm that Betrayal's NOT coming back. It said only 2 episodes left in the season finale, but pretty sure this one's dead right?

Little People in the Big Worl
Wow, I can't believe I've been watching the Roloff's for 9 seasons. So much with them has changed and so much has stayed the same. House is still a mess, Amy and Matt still don't get along and Pumpkin Season's still a big deal. The kids have grown and left, Rocky the dog passed away, Matt's bodies starting to let him down and the Roloff's are now in the wedding business. While there are always great moments, the underlying theme for me all these years has always been Amy and Matt's relationship. Now they're finally seeing it too and it's all coming to a head. Personally I think Amy's delusional and a HUGE part of their problem. I have no idea how or why they're still together.  They need a break from one another, big time. Matt knows it and he even put it out there on the table, things didn't seem too good at the end of the season.  Amy needs to realize how good she has it and stop picking on her husband. She needs to clean that house and take a good look around at the life her tiny hot hubby has made possible. She's so mean and tough on her husband. She's uncompromising and sometimes rude. It gets me nuts. I hope they can figure something out, but I personally don't see them staying together. Sad, yes, but life's too short to live with someone you can't stand.  That being said, I wish they'd come together on one thing... Molly's acne. I really really need the producers of the show to get Molly to a dermatologist. She needs some serious acne medication. Maybe something more powerful than Proactive if there is such a thing. Til next season Roloffs...hopefully.

NEWS & INFORMATION:

-I'm obsessed with the new Apple holiday spot that's on the air now. If you haven't seen it and you don't well up from it then something's wrong. It's really amazing! Let me know what you think. It's :90 seconds, check it out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImlmVqH_5HM

-I didn't watch one episode of The Voice all season. If you recall, if it was 2 hours, I wasn't doing it, so buh bye Voice. I didn't really feel like I was missing anything at all. Tessane Chin was the big winner. Hope she can actually breakout and get a career going for herself. Tessane was on Team Adam who's been doing pretty well on the show. The next cycle  starts in February with Usher and Shakira filling in for CeeLo and Xtina. I'm pretty cool with NOT watching, so for those of you that have to wait til Feb, enjoy the 4 hours a week you have for the next coupla months.

-I can't wait...only 3 more nights til my FBFF, Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake take over SNL. I'm betting it's epic!  Even these promos without Justin are hilarious. Check um out: http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/12/saturday-night-live-promo-jimmy-fallon-holds-his-own-without-justin-timberlake.html

Revenge
Amazing to me that Sarah, Daniel's ex came back what like 2 episodes ago and he's already over Emily and obsessed Sarah. Those old feelings just came rushing back. Daniel bugs the crap out of me. Conrad took him to the secret NYC apartment where all of the Grayson's cheat on their wives and Daniel attempted to take the high road and told Conrad he's not going to cheat on his wife but by the end of the episode, he had put that key to use.  Best part was that all these years the Grayson men thought that the wives didn't know about the place, but apparently Anderson the butler's double dipping and telling the wives everything. How hilarious was Emily's co-ed bridal shower? Of course Victoria hired Sarah to work the party and then a cute "this is your life" game. Daniel's big surprise was his lacrosse buddy, but Emily's big surprise, dun dun dunnnnn, her ex-husband! Of course it was a fake marriage of convenience and Rohan was one of Takeda's trainees. Man that Takeda sure made big business out of teaching revenge. Who knew there was such a market for it? Two big cliffhangers though...Lydia's back from the dead/missing and Emily's fake pregnant! That'll hopefully keep Daniel in line, at least til the wedding right?

Betrayal
It's happening, I'm starting to lose interest. I said it would happen and it's happening. Now that everyone's upset, Jack's kids aren't speaking to him, Oliver's stealing school supplies, and Jack and Sarah are actually SLEEPING together.  The prostitute that was helping TJ is dead, her kids an orphan and Drew's still obsessed with taking down Thatcher and the Carston's. They added in a stupid story this week where a reporter asked Sarah to go with him to take photos of people being ripped out of homes. For some reason, Sarah's mega camera lenses were a problem and she had to step over the police tape and get in everyone's faces. Pretty sure with the lenses she had, she could have taken the same photos from 50 feet away. Of course they got arrested and of course Jack bailed her out and of course Drew heard all about at the office. In this episode we got to know a bit more about Thatcher's past via some flashbacks. Didn't the actor that played young James Cromwell look EXACTLY like him? OMG that was weird. Apparently Thatcher started killing people early in life, but big secret. He had a kid with his first love, an African American singer named Suzanne Dumond. She dumped him after she saw him kill a guy that was attacking her.  Like I said...it's all fun and games til somebody gets hurt and now EVERYONE's hurt and the fun's over.

Homeland
A pretty good episode, but now I have tons of questions don't you? Saul's back with his wife so she broke up with the boyfriend but he's not who we thought he was. Who is he? Carrie sent a text that said "Red Wheel Barrow" what was that referring to? Is Saul a good guy or a bad guy? I'm SO not sure from minute to minute. I can't believe Quinn shot Carrie, so much for slowing down and taking it easy. What, does everyone now use the Walter White method of body disposal? How many motel cleaning ladies stumble onto a dead body in the bathtub in a given day? You'd think we would hear about that type of thing happening a lot with the amount of times we see it on TV shows, no? Saul paid 10 million bucks for Brody? Are those my tax dollars at work?

Killing Kennedy
I finally watched Rob Lowe in the Nat Geo movie, Killing Kennedy. Rob was, of course, amazing as JFK. He didn't have as big of a role in the movie as you'd think though, which was a bit disappointing. He had JFK's look, hair, walk and voice down perfectly.  The movie focused on Oswald really. I didn't know much about him. I was never that into the Kennedy  assassination thing.  I didn't know that Oswald lived in Russia. Maybe I knew he married a Russian woman, but I definitely didn't know he had a kid with her. It was so bizarre seeing how the Secret Service prepared for that day in Dallas with paper models of the buildings and little fake cars. I had no idea that they knew going in what a bad idea the topless motorcade was. I didn't realize why the prez was down there in the first place, and that Jackie didn't let anyone see the presidents head after it was shot. I didn't know she refused to change her clothes after the shooting and a bunch of other things. Gotta admit, I felt a bit ignorant and stupid having known so little about a pretty important day in American History.

Alpha House
I had seen the pilot of Alpha House when Amazon released it initially for us to all vote on a while ago. I voted for Amazon to make it into a series and was happy when it won.  The shows good. Did anyone watch it? Amazon released the first 3 episodes on Friday. They're all about 20 minutes long and they fly by. The show is about 4 Senators who live together in a house in Washington DC. They're all VERY different guys. Of course my favorite guy is Senator Andy Guzman from Florida played by the super gorgeous Mark Conseulos. Aside from the fact that he's HOT and shirtless a lot, he's actually really funny and a decent actor.  The rest of the cast isn't has hot of course, but they're all really good. You've got John Goodman playing a former football coach from the south who hasn't had to do very much until now.  Gotta give the guy credit, he had a scene in the shower where he went topless which took a lot of guts for a guy like him. Clark Johnson plays Senator Robert Bettencourt, whose under investigation but we're not exactly sure what he did yet. You can tell he's a back room deal kinda guy though. You'd probably recognize Clark from The Wire if you watched that show.  The 4th roommates the funniest.  Matt Malloy plays Senator Louis Laffer from Nevada. Pretty sure he's gay but he won the "Say No To Sodomy Award" which was hilarious. Amazon's releasing a new episode every week, so catch up when you can and let me know what you think.

NEWS & INFORMATION

-With everyone talking about Twitter, and Tweeting these days, you'd think we're all doing it, but that's not the case at all. Only 11% of Americans Tweet something every month based on a new chart I saw. Interestingly enough 40% of Twitter's monthly users NEVER Tweet at all.  The US ranks 8th in countries with the highest Twitter penetration. Who's number 1? Saudi Arabia. 33% of Saudi's Tweet something every month.

-I like Alec Baldwin...the actor, the talk show guest etc. but even I have to admit the guys got issues. I completely understand trying to protect your family from the paparazzi but things are out of control and now he's suspended from his new MSNBC talk show. Suspended? Really? How about letting him go on the air and TALK about it. NBC suspended him? Whatever. I can't believe the paparazzi still think we all want photos of him, his wife and his baby. I sorta feel like they're doing it JUST so they'll get a reaction from him at this point.  Anyway, no word yet on if he'll actually be back after his suspension ends. I liked his show. He's a good interviewer and hope he gets a shot to come back and discuss the situation. Otherwise, I'm guessing he's back to the Hamptons and podcasts.

- The Killing just won't die. You remember this one. It was cancelled by AMC after 2 seasons, then it came back and was cancelled again. Now Netflix is bringing it back to life once again. Not sure when it will premiere but the final 6 episodes will be the last. I'll post it once I have a date.

-I think I mentioned the new late night show on Comedy Central called @midnight. I checked it out a few weeks ago. I'm so not the target audience, but Chris Hardwick's really good and the show was funny. I knew it would do well and it is. It just got renewed for 40 more weeks. You heard it hear first, this ones going to be around a while. If you're a guy 18-34, I'm betting you'll like this one.

-Huge bidding war for The Simpsons resulted in the biggest off-network deal ever. FXX won the exclusive cable, VOD and digital rights to The Simpsons. Exact terms of the deal haven't been disclosed but estimates are 750 MILLION to a BILLION dollars for Matt Groening and everyone who has their fingers in it. There are currently 530 episodes and more coming since the shows already been renewed for its 26th season. The show will start airing on FXX this Summer.

-CBS has greenlit the How I Met Your Mother spinoff...How I Met Your Dad. Same team behind the show, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas but an entirely different cast and story. So it's not our current Mom's story from what I'm reading, it's just another some other woman's story. I'm kinda glad, I was wondering how it would work if we knew that Ted was the Dad at the beginning of the show. Got it...no Ted, new Mom.

-Glad it's not just me, Candy Crush Saga hit the 500 MILLION download mark on Friday. I'm still quietly obsessed. I'm on level 197, been there about a week and a half. 78% of U.S. users play while watching TV...I admit I do this SOMETIMES!

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt right? Same goes for the show depicting the fun and games, Betrayal.  We knew the fun had to come to an end for Jack and Sarah. Drew found out about the affair, but we didn't really care because he was a d*ck. But when Jack told Elaine and the kids it was tough to watch because we like them. Especially Elaine. I sort of wish that Betrayal ended with Jack and Sarah just sailing off into the sunset together. The bummer is that there is heartache, and hurt when someone tears apart a family, and it's hard to watch. In reality there's a huge ripple effect to an affair isn't there? I'm glad that Jack came clean and told Elaine the truth, I'm even glad he told the kids. It proved he loves Sarah and wants to be with her, but at what cost?  Do the writers think that having TJ pinned with another murder and Elaine hooking up with the wine guys will keep us invested? I don't know how much they can keep things going now that the fun stuffs over.

Homeland
Okay so another no Brody episode and this one was also barely a Carrie episode. It's all about Saul these days and he's a complicated guy. Big time. I did appreciate Quinn in a towel, but it was just a tease and honestly, if you're an anti-terrorist government employee, do you answer the door in a towel? I'm betting you don't especially when it's your boss at the door. Carrie's morning sickness is kicking in again. Not great to be pregnant at a crime scene.  Was that cop at the house Vincent Spano from Alphabet City? It sure looked like and older version of him.  Anyway, Juvadi's going back to Iran working for Saul. How funny were the words "butt monkey" coming out of his mouth? I don't know I found it humorous. but before he got on that plane, Carrie just had to know who the Langley bomber was. We know it wasn't Brody now...I think, but was it the lawyer guy or another Abu Nazeer guy? At least I'm interested again.

MTV European Music Awards
Pre-Show hosts were a guy and girl I didn't know and Darren Criss from Glee
Other than Fall Out Boy and Jason Derulo, it was all about Austin-don't confuse me with Bieber-Mahone.  He won the "Artist on the Rise" award and performed his new hit available right now on Itunes called Banga Banga.  Everyone has to tell us that their hit single, new album etc. is available RIGHT NOW on Itunes. Otherwise, why do the show?

Miley Cyrus opened the EMA's in Amsterdam with an alien community by her side. Miley and her crew were all decked out in crazy alien outfits. Miley's dress was tame but she had the best accessory ever,  a little person in latex with Madonna coned boobs. Everyone loves little people!

  • Red Foo from LMFAO was the host (I didn't know his name was Red Foo until my son told me)
  • Robin Thicke sang Miley sang "Blurred Lines" for the millionth time. Didn't matter though because all eyes were on his dancers who were topless and covered in silver paint and rhinestones carefully placed to cover what needed to be covered.  Robin was super sweaty. None of those dancers would go near anyone THAT sweaty. Trust me. GROSS
  • Best Song Award went to: Bruno Mars for "Locked Out Of Heaven". He was sporting a bit of a fro and wearing a motorcycle jacket that every cool guy in my high school wore back in the 80's. (Neil Moffatt if you're reading this...you know the jacket I'm talking about!)
  • Newsflash-DJ Afrojack does NOT have an afro.
  • Of all the songs on Katy Perry's new album she sang the one I like the least. "Unconditionally." It's not a bad song, but the others are so much better. Katy literally grew a million feet tall while she sang and then dancers started  doing the Maypole weaving the very long fabric of her dress. Pretty cool, then it all came off and she was suspended in mid air in a mirrored jump suit. Take that Miley. Between P!nk, Gaga, Miley and Katy I don't know who's more enjoyable these days. The bar just keeps getting raised.
  • Rita Ora? Anyone know who she is? She had some major static problems, I can tell you that.
  • Best Hip Hop Award went to: Eminem who was on hand to accept his award and thank everyone.
  • The Ron Burgundy segments were cute if you're into him, I'm not so they bored me.
  • Kings of Leon performed a pretty cool tune called "Beautiful War." The songs great, but Kings of Leon are a pretty boring band to watch.
  • Pretty sexy voice during the show telling us who's coming up next. I think she was computer generated but I couldn't prove it.
  • RJ Mitte from Breaking Bad sans crutches, looking pretty rock starish presented the Best Female Award to: Katy Perry who was VERY excited to win. A little too excited if you ask me.
  • Bruno Mars, his afro and girls on stripper poles performed "Gorilla". My 12 year old loved that! The girls were pretty talented. MTV bleeped out the word "cocaine" but kept all the half naked girls on stripper poles in. Priorities
  • Ariana Grande is soooo pretty. She gave out the award for Best Male to Justin Bieber who was not there to accept his award. I guess Europe still has Bieber fever.
  • LMFAO guy grosses me out with his lenseless glasses
  • Miley Cyrus was back to perform "Wrecking Ball" in a painful looking body suit. There was no camel toe situation you can't have camel toe when you're wearing dental floss. I give her credit though, no lip syncing, but pretty sure she was sporting Lee Press On Nails.
  • Red Foo's dragon outfit was edible, shot confetti, and fireworks. Now that's a cool costume.
  • Global Icon Award went to Eminem. He came out with a giant boom box set and this time no doubt at all that he was singing live. Love me some Billy Squire. "Rap God" was amazing. Odd that Ron Burgundy presented the actual trophy to Eminem but whatever.
  • Best Pop Act went to One Direction but they weren't there to accept BUMMER I love them
  • Best Live Act went to Beyonce but she was someplace else performing live and couldn't be there to accept her award live. Ironic, I know.
  • Snoop Dogg NOT Snoop Lion performed with a giant diamond "Doggy" thing on his hand to cover the microphone. Who thinks of that? A lot of the song had had to be bleeped.
  • "Once in a Lifetime" was performed by my friend Ed's favorite band...The Killers. Personally I don't get it, but it was a good performance.
  • Radar Man and Ariana Grande came together to read some tweets. Do we need to actually have people reading the tweets for us.  I believe we can read, so a scroll could have worked.
  • Best Video went to: Miley Cyrus for "Wrecking Ball" and she was still in her painful Vajajay outfit. Front wedgies are painful she's gotta be hurtin today. Even MTV got nervous and pulled the camera back just in case that fabric moved a millimeter.  It could have been the wardrobe malfunction to end all wardrobe malfunctions.
  • Imagine Dragons closed the show with "Radioactive"
Parenthood
I'm predicting it now...No way does Amber end up marrying Ryan. Did you see her with the band? Did you see Ryan watching her with the band? It's going to end badly. I just know it. It's also going to end badly for pooooor Drew. We've all been there haven't we?  "Lets JUST be FRIENDS". The worst words anyone ever wants to hear. We've been the ones saying it, we've been the ones hearing it and it's SO incredibly painful knowing first hand what that feels like.  I feel for him. What about Julia and Joel? She's losing it big time. She's trying to be a stay at home Mom while Joel's finally got work and she's just losing it and finding comfort with someone else. Do you think that Camille's coming back from Italy? I felt so bad for Zeke when she left him at the house and he was sitting there alone in the kitchen.

Glee
Glee's whole Lady Gaga/Katy Perry thing was okay. I didn't love the episode, but I did love the casts version of "Wide Awake," I'd argue it's better than the original version. Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_WyZtjDlFA

Macklemore's Big Surprise
For anyone unfamiliar with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's music, I'd strongly suggest you check them out. I'm SO not into rap or hip hop, but their songs are just so amazing, with great messages and more incredible, they're completely independent and out of the corporate part of the music industry. Ben Haggerty, aka Macklemore, has a pretty amazing story. He's a former drug addict who turned his life around thanks to his current fiance, Tricia,  and her Mom, Diane, who stuck by him through it all. During this special, Ben wanted to thank them both by pulling off a complete home makeover for Diane, his soon-to-be Mother-in-law. In between the sneaking around, the painting, the moving etc. We got to know Ben, his family, his story, Tricia and Diane. Ben is a very eloquent, deep guy who fought the odds and made it big.  Great show. They're re-running it for a while so check it out if you remember.

NEWS & INFORMATION

-Everyone wants to partner with Twitter these days.  Now, it's The Voice's turn.  Tomorrow night, viewers will be given a chance to instantly save their favorite artists from elimination. In the past, it was the judges that had the power to save an artist, but now the power is shifting over to us, the viewers. Ya know, if America can vote for singers and episodes and endings, why can't we start using Twitter to vote for more important stuff? I bet you at some point we'll all be voting for President on Twitter.

-I guess the cast of Sean Saves the World can book a vacation or buy something now.  They just got the order for 5 more episodes. NBC's Thursday night is suffering, but I guess without a backup plan, they'd need more episodes anyway. My advice, save the cash and do a staycation.
