Not the greatest episode of Hart of Dixie and just like we learned with last weeks Parks & Rec and lately, most episodes of How I Met Your Mother, not ALL episodes can be winners.  Other than seeing Mayor Lavon Hayes with HIS shirt off (way too many tattoos for me) and Wade's cute attempt to do something sweet for Zoey, not much happened that anyone who watches regularly, cared about.  I'm assuming most of us can't stand Ruby and Lavon, and can't wait for them to be over. I found it very hard to believe that the people of Bluebell would even know what a flash mob was let alone be able to participate in one, but they did.  Max, the kicker for Bluebell High School became obsessed with Dr. Hart and sent her the flash mob and a million roses which was a bummer for Rose who really liked Max and a bummer for me who has seen this sort of storyline a million times before.  The entire Lemon/Annabeth catering thing...could care less. Bring back shirtless Wade next week please!

I watched most of The Voice in Fast Forward mode, but I always stop to check out what the judges are wearing.  Adam looked so cute in his Mr. Rogers sweater. Droopy actually moved around on stage (a bit, nothing crazy) and while it looked like she took mascara to her bangs, her outfit was decent. I was again a bit nervous about a nip slip or something, but pretty sure everything stayed where it was supposed to during her performance.  I have to come clean, I didn't watch any of the performances all the way through. Totally bummed that two of my favorites, SPOILER ALERT: Bryan Keith and Sylvia Yacoub were sent packing.  Oh well, Nick and Cassadee are still around.

The show Happy Endings is an issue for me.  I get suckered in every time...this week was their "very special" Thanksgiving episode where Brad and Max were on The Real World Sacramento (it never aired-long story).  I thought to myself...okay I am going to give it ONE MORE TRY, I mean, I used to love The Real World.  13 minutes in, I couldn't take it anymore and changed channels.  I don't like anyone on the show, I don't think the show is funny and while there have been a gagillion "sort of Friends", "almost Friends", "we wanna be Friends" attempts, this show, is trying WAY too hard and will never be "Friends".  I know so many of you love Happy Endings and I just DO NOT get it.  I'm never ever ever watching it again...ever. Well...maybe if John Mayer makes a very special guest appearance...maybe then. (Let's see if anyone gets that one)

Since I now had a little spare time, I switched over to Flipping Out and I'm sort of bummed that I did.  After reading the other day about Jeff suing Jenny I figured something big had to happen and now I know what it was.  They had a huge fight that actually upset me.  Jenny was completely wrong and lied to Jeff and I really didn't believe her story which bummed me out.  Dr. Donna had to get involved.  Next week is the finale and it looks bad. I'll be so sad if Jeff and Jenny break up. Game over...honestly.  Jeff broke up with Ryan and so many others that I liked along the way.  He's been mean to Zoila this season and he's now living with THE most boring human ever...Gage.  So I'm guessing that I have one episode of Flipping Out left and I'm done for good.

Okay, I knew it had to happen...the very special ULTRA MORE STRESSFUL THAN USUAL episode of Parenthood.  This one, was just too hard, and yes it was all very real but this time, it was a bit too much. For a minute, I actually considered changing channels, but thankfully, just as I thought I couldn't take it one minute more, things lightened up.
These are the things that occurred in a one hour episode:
1) Joel & Julia haven't figured out how to divide and conquer so Sydney had a meltdown and threw a drink at her adopted brother at a restaurant in front of everyone.
2) Jasmine and Crosby got into a fight over their dinner party
3) Mark caught Drew sleeping with his girlfriend in the apartment, had the condom convo, promised not to tell Sarah, told Sarah, whole family fought.
4) Kristina who is really sick from the chemo and puking her guts up everywhere, offered to babysit a friend of Max's for the weekend. Max and the kid aren't getting along, the new dog is peeing everywhere and the baby can't stop crying. Adam had to pick up the slack...OY
5) Amber's boyfriend had to go to a funeral, she went with him, turns out the guy committed suicide, everyones on edge and Ryan ended up beating the crap out of a friend.
When Adam finally thought of going to Crosby to get some weed to make Kristina feel better, I thought...great Adam, you and Kristina can go smoke some dope and take the edge off, but your show has ME needing the same thing to do the same thing, no way I was getting some sleep now.  I love you Jason Katims, but I really don't need another episode this stressful for a while.

2nd to last week of our amazing Dancing with the Stars correspondent, Ed Ziskind's report...take it away Ed:
If you recall my predictions from yesterday, then there’s no need to read further – they were correct.  Clearly the fans – including this super-fan – are getting it right this season.

In tonight’s semi-finals results show, we went from five couples to three.  Shawn Johnson and Derek were announced first and no surprise, they were safe.  Up next, Melissa Rycroft and Tony stood next to Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina.  Apolo who Karina who got the boot, despite their perfect 30 and their suspect choice to perform tonight’s encore (it should have been Shawn and Derek).  Melissa and Tony, the only couple left never to have won the mirror ball trophy, have their chance to win it now.

Later, Emmit Smith and Cheryl stood next to Kelly Monaco and Val in the second half of the double elimination.  Last night, Emmit said his kids would join him at the finals from Dallas if he made it.  Well, the kids won’t have to make that flight as lovebirds Kelly and Val are heading to the finals in their place.

My prediction is that Shawn Johnson will win it all in the finals next week.  Usually, a team you don’t expect comes on strong in the finals.  The team that I don’t expect to win is Kelly and Val, but that’s just not going to happen.  Good enough to make it to the finals but not good enough to win.  Shawn Johnson (the Olympian) and Melissa Rycroft (the Bachelorette!) are evenly matched, so let’s look at their coaches.  Tony has had his best season by far but Derek is always pulling things out of his hat in the finals.  Derek will help Shawn win her second mirror ball trophy next week.

See you for the finals next week!

Thanks Ed!

NBC from a 2.4 in November 2011 to a 2.8 in November 2012 an increase of 17%
CBS from a 2.8 in November 2011 to a 2.4 in November 2012 a decrease of 14%
ABC from a 2.5 in November 2011 to a 2.2 in November 2012 a decrease of 12%
FOX from a 3.1 in November 2011 to a 2.3 in November 2012 a decrease of 26%

*Starz cancelled Kelsey Grammar's show Boss.  I watched the first season and found the show confusing but there were two story lines I liked.  The daughter who was a drug addict and Claire from 90210 and the cute young guy, but even with those two, I bagged it.  Too confusing.

*For all of you guys who either are iCarly fans or are the parents of iCarly fans, just a reminder that the series finale is this Friday, 11/23.

*It's official, News Corp. purchased 49% of the YES Network, home of the New York Yankees and the NY Nets for approximately 1.5 billion dollars.

*If you are sick of Adam Sandler's annoying Thanksgiving Song, here is my new favorite.  Don't get me wrong, it's awful, but that's why you'll like it.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
